Very nice, clean room, nice beds, bedding and staff. Breakfast was what you would expect. The only negative has to do with the design of the room. The sink is not in the bathroom. I prefer to wash up in the bathroom after using the toilet and I don’t want to have to take a “bird bath” in the hall way. Who designed this?

The room was clean & the hotel was quiet. The walls between rooms are a bit thin as I could hear my neighbors convo for a but it was New Years so I'm sure they were a little excited & it didn't last long. Every employee that I encountered was pleasant & immediately helpful. Also, breakfast was good & the area was clean. Also, the fridge was the total opposite of the below mentioned coffee pot, that thing had ice chips in my water so that's a plus. 😁 While the hotel is located behind a mall the parking lot is well lit at night & I never felt unsafe.

My only con is kind of minor, the hot water for tea at breakfast was barely hot & even the coffee pot in my room barely made the water hot.

We were only in the room long enough to sleep. Room was clean, staff was ok. Only issue was noise from the room above us. Probably a child so just one of those things. It was pretty quiet from 1 am- 7, so that was good.

When we come to Shelby we always use this hotel to stay. The staff is always welcoming and kind. The room is clean and the breakfast is good too. It close to the mall 2 minute walk depending on how fast you walk. Will recommend to others as a place to stay.

The hotel was one that had been renovated from some other hotel so was not what I was expecting! With that said. That should not take away from the fact that the room was clean, the staff was very friendly. The area in which it is located was not bad and I felt safe I probably should have reported that the TV in the room I was in was on the brink of having an issue and the hotel itself was a bit cool ( temperature wise). At the end of the day. I would stay here again and again. I guess that is the most important part!

More variety of choices for breakfast would be nice.

Why do you put handicap-accessible rooms on upper level floors? In an emergency, these are the people that need to have lower level rooms so they can get out on their own, rather than being trapped with stairs they can't manage.

Everything was good except we got there less then a hour before check in, my mom is handicapped and the lady wouldn't let us check in, I know we were a l8ttle early but when you have an elderly person and have just driver 9 hrs I didn’t feel like 30 - 45 mins early was too too much of a problem to check us in

Initial room given was not clean. I found 2 dead waterbugs and the floor was not carpeted (though I initially asked for a wheelchair accessible room, I actually only needed a shower that had a low step in). They gave me a different room at my request that was on the second floor. This room apeared much cleaner and was carpeted.
We stayed 3 nights. After the first night I asked why our room had not been cleaned, linen changed, fresh towels etc. I was told that I should have been told that had to request it when I checked in.
Well we had not been informed of this so I carried fresh towels from the front desk to my room. The next day our room was cleaned very well including fresh linen.

They require a $200.00 cash deposit to stay if you live within 30 miles. Which was not mentioned when making plans. They only had one vending machine in the entire building. The a/c was broken and it was 80 in the room.
