Frist off , they changed the dates n couldn't , find my resvarion , n had to buy another night , instead of working with me never asked for my confirmation number, I want a refund for the original night stay, then asked for non smoking room open door n it stink od cigarettes, the chair looked like dried blood all over it , the shower floor leaked from the tub, terrible mold on the ceiling black, next morning free breakfast no coffee no waffle no Juise all there all empty, dry cereal n milk , terrible, came in after midnight new years eve, n 2 Cop cars there made feel very unsafe, late night activity in parking lot , woman in lot, black n white , nasty, I want a refund I should ask for both nights but I stayed one night , it's a total rip off , he was mad because I used Expedia, when I asked for coffee the Indian man, threw up his hands left the desk n went in back room shut the door, this is not acceptable, I want a refund please, help me with this stay ,

In the walls on the floor and curtains hair food mold the sheets was not changed from previous person that been there etc no smoke detector no phone in the room , lamp was plugged in to it and dt didn't have a light bulb in it, outlets that was burnt out outlets that didn't work with Xxxx in permanent marker written on it, mold on bed's,and in the bathroom , no breakfast only coffee with sugar packets and powder creamer.

The room smelt like smoke and the bedding looked like room service just said \"Pluck it\" . Dirty pillows/bedding, no smoke detector on the wall but you can see where it was hanging. My sister so most fell down the stairs getting to the room. When I booked the room online I kept trying to get a non-smoking room which didn't happen.

But the manager on duty was very nice and when asked for a full refund he returned our money without any problems.

The room was small there was a hole in the drapes and the comforter on the bed. The dressers floors phone and walls were dirty with dried drops of paint on floor. No extra towels and room was humid with a stuffy and musty smell when we first walked in. I would not stay here again.

The room was dirty, with candy wrappers behind the nightstand. There was a six-inch spider web stretched across one corner of the window. The towels were very thin. The bed cover had two holes in it. This property was horrible. There was no smoke detector in my room. When asked they said \" its a nonsmoking room\" the celing was leaking on the bed, when mentioned they said\"we can move your bed over\" the 2 tvs did not work. The phone that was pluged in to call office did not work. It was very dirty/dusty and i found 2 cigarette butts behind the nightstand when i checked to plug phone in I would not recommended this motel to anyone.

Our reservation was not available so we had to get a king size room with one bed. The pipes under the sink were broken completely so the entire floor was soak and wet our entire stay, there was only a sheet and the topper on the bed. No blanket. Television did not work, half the lights don’t work. We stayed because everywhere else was full so we had to maneuver with just the bathroom light and kept our shoes on the entire time from the floor being soaked. I was supposed to pay $174 for 2 nights they charged me $210 for a horrible room.

Problem #1. Tried to check in an hour early. That will be a $20 charge. One hour later there’s no extra charge. Really? Problem #2. Room toilet doesn’t flush. We change rooms. Problem#3 No ice bucket in room. I told front desk lady I needed an ice bucket. She said she would bring me one. She never brought me an ice bucket. Problem #4. Turn on tv. It says no signal. Can’t watch tv. Told front desk lady about this. She said someone would come up and look at it. No one ever came up to look at it. Problem #5. Phone in room didn’t work so I couldn't call to report these problems. I had to walk to the lobby to report them. Problem# 6. Bed sheets had stains and holes in them. Problem #7. The ceiling was stained and pieces of it were falling off. Problem #8. The deluxe breakfast bar the hotel offered was two cereal choices, fruit cups, granola bars and juice and coffee. It’s a super 8. I wasn’t expected the Plaza but this place was a dump! There’s a nicer looking hotel across the street. Go there.

This hotel is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in (or rather, not stayed in, as my husband and I decided we did not feel safe enough to stay here and ended up losing out on our money on the reservation). I don't usually consider myself a germaphobe or someone who is overly picky about cleanliness, but this hotel was awful. Everything was stained (carpets, walls, lampshades), the non-smoking room smelled like smoke, there was food leftover in the fridge from the previous guest, burn stain/hole on the wall, bugs in the room, cracked tile in the bathroom and a toilet seat that wasn't even connected to the toilet. The front desk refused to give us a second towel even though our reservation was for two adults and kept insisting we had booked only a \"single room.\" The lobby was constantly dark with only a single light on over the front desk, the eating area always had the chairs stacked up on the tables and there were strange and suspicious guests/people lurking in the breezeways and parking lot. Overall, would never recommend this hotel and I guess we learned our lesson not to trust the pictures online.

I was liking it until two nights ago manager or the owner said we had to move out of the own room that I’m a disabled person and they moved us into another room and my husband been working so I would advise no one to stay there and they can’t move to another room because the room we was in room 109. The tub broke and it flooded the room so I’ve got asthma and I asked could I be moved and it was fine but then the owner came on the property and got to it with my husband.

The door to the hotel room had no lock and was previously kicked in. Both beds had multiple stains on them. There was a big circular red stain on the carpet that looked like blood. Lastly, there was a spider the size of the palm of my hand lurking in the corner of the room. There was no way anyone could stay in this hotel for an hour let alone over night.

Nasty outside sidewalks where like they haven't seen water and soap since construction absolutely nasty. Smoke alarm in our room was hanging by the wires vent in the bathroom was not covered just a hole in a wall at checkout this morning the manager gave me my deposit of $25 back I went to my vehicle to check my fluids in order to leave the manager comes outside where I was at and ask me for the $25 back cuz he said he had already gave the money to someone else.... Don't they check IDs here before they just give somebody money claiming that they're getting their deposit back I refused because it was impossible I was the only person there in the room my 5-day stay was littered with gnats all in the room absolutely have no plans of ever staying here again.

The bed was clean and comfortable. So on that basic level I was pleased. HOWEVER: The nonsmoking room smelled like smoke; the only towels when I checked in were dirty; neither the TV, the refrigerator, nor the lamp next to the bed worked. The handle on the sink was broken and the cushions on the couch didn't fit the couch. The listing claims \"toiletries included,\" but I had to go buy toothpaste elsewhere. They advertise breakfast, but when I looked in I saw cereal and a pack of mini muffins--OK, basic, not terrible--but ALL of the chairs were still turned up on the tables. I have stayed here before, though it's been years, and neither time nor management have been good to it. The bed gets it a second star or I would have given it a 1. I will not stay here again, and I would not recommend it.

Refrigerator leaking and smelled inside of chemicals and did not work
But what was one of the most upsetting parts was he offered a king bed and I refused to sleep with my 15 yo autistic daughter
There was no safety latch on the door but I locked the deadbolt which I found out didn’t work when someone came into the room
They rented it to someone else.
Desk clerk offered to give a refund if I called hotels
The hotels rep called them for the refund and they refused. They said they even gave us an hour extra for a late check out but the cleaning crew came anyway at 11am so my 8th trip to the front desk finally he said he told them but they didn’t pay attention. Who knows.
I’m very upset if it were just me I would deal with it but I layed awake watching the door so my sleeping kid wouldn’t be terrified.
I intend to report the hotel. Sad that they wouldn’t even listen to the hotel rep for refund. Especially when they were the ones that said they would personally authorize a return if I notified hotels.

This is purely for other potential guests to be aware of. Not sure if they are short staffed or what... But the comforters had burn marks (can't say much bc I knew I was being put in a smoking room), the bathroom had only one towel, one floor towel and 2 hand towels. There were 3 of us in the room. The toilet was dirty, the shower head didn't provide much pressure, but water stayed hot and the tub was clean. Also the rest of the room was clean. We had a stink bug in a web in the top corner but... Probably just missed. That's really it. I work in hospitality so I know there are off days and possibly staff shortage but... At least the bathroom should be completely clean...

We reserved a non-smoking room, it smelled like someone just smoked pot in there. The smoke detector was hanging from the wall with a plastic bag wrapped around it. I had to buy an expensive odor killer to take the edge off the smell of the room. I walked past other rooms and could smell pot coming from them. Obviously, this is normal there and they don't try to stop it. One lamp didn't have any lightbulbs in it. I asked the lobby for 2 bulbs they said they would get it in an hour. We had dinner and went to a football game, returned, no light bulbs. The breakfast wasn't even worth free, we went out to eat. After, I made my reservation a friend who lives in the town warned me that drugs crime were common there and they weren't wrong. I expected more from a Wyndham property.

This motel is in SAD shape

This facility is in DIRE need of major rehab. I selected this hotel having stayed there in the past. I traveled with two friends, each securing their own room. Both had rooms that were in need of some sort of repair. My room, the phone did not work and it appeared the phone had been damaged previously. One of my travel companions told me the toilet would not flush. The other the drain pipe from the sink was completely disconnected. My room, the toilet paper holder had been partially ripped from the wall, there was some sort of black stain on the carpet and even though this was a \"non-smoking\" room, there was a definite odor of cigarette smoke. Styrofoam beverage cups on the sink were not in sealed bags.

It took 5 minutes to get the door unlocked. Then the door would not close
I called the desk twice and reported the door. One hour went by, no body came to check it out. Then I walked down to the front desk. The clerk came down with me. He came on the inside and pushed hard on the door, like you would to get in. He then when on the outside and it took him over 3 minutes to get the lock to unlock , then he had to push with his shoulder to get the door open. He did not apologize or offer another room. I put a chair against the door, after it was locked. Slept with my gun.

The one in Shelby NC does not represent the brand in a positive way
The advertisement on line is false
The 3rd shift associate is not knowledgeable of her duties
I did booking through a 3rd party originally and decided to stay an extra day and went to this person to extend my stay. She said everything was good and returned my door key. Later that evening I returned to find my room had been rented to someone else and my personal items had to be located but where finally returned
I went back to the associate when she was on duty to find out why if there was a problem was I not notified,got no response
She lost the booking because she did not know her job
Had to go to another hotel
Also the breakfast advertised consisted mandarin oranges and coffee?
This particular Super 8 will not be on our list for future stays

Rude staff unclean rooms

Room was filthy and staff was extremely uncooperative, rude and intolerant.

The staff was very rude from the beginning. The owner/manager knocked on our door the first morning and asked me why I ashes my cigarette butts on his wall (I DONT SMOKE) he even wanted me to clean the wall. When the maid service knocked on our door after the first incident happened she asked if we were leaving and I told her no we are staying another night. After I explained that we are staying, The only other response that I got was have you already paid? After I told her yes she walks off not offering any other kind of services like fresh towels, extra pillows, you get the picture. We would not have stayed another night but there were no more hotels available in the area.

Eye hole on door was missing so made me feel a little unsafe all they did was stick a tissue in it which anyone can easily remove and see me change or whatever else did not like that but other then that bed was super soft and wish they gave more pillows and it said there was complementary breakfast but never saw it offered.

It was sad

This hotel made me sad. I booked it for my kids who were visiting from out of town for Christmas. The carpet was visibly dirty. It was dusty. There was hair in the sink. It almost looked as if someone had just left there. We will never ever again book at this location.
