I have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed in anything. This is the best value for a hotel anywhere in Bucharest. You get an entire large apartment for the cost of a normal hotel room. Highly recommended!

The room was amazing for the price - would definitely recommend getting spa and breakfast included.
The breakfast spread was impeccable, all kosher so don’t go expecting a full English.
The spa’s amenities were very undersold on the website - 3 different temps of sauna (one doubles as a salt room) and a hammam style steam room with immersive a shower experience.
The spa staff themselves were lovely people - big shout out to Leo for making our trip to Romania one of the best we’ve had!
The location of the spa is a little outside the centre but Bolt prices are so friendly so it didn’t make that much of a difference to us.
Would 100% book again!

It's hard to find a parking spot here. After checked in, they told us we need to pay extra Euro 10 per person per night if we want to access the swimming pool. This extra fee for using the swiming pool was not shown on Expedia website. They argued the reason was due to my room type of \"without spa\". I dont do SPA and don't need SPA, but do like pool and hot tub. Double checked terms and policies, spa is separate from pool and hot tub. SPA is a separate services. Nowhere indicated room with SPA is entitled to use pool and hot tub. And nowhere indicated room without SPA is not allowed to use the pool and hot tub. Further, the fee policies didn't say that an extra fee will be paid if guests are using the pool and the hot tub. However on the website, everywhere indicated Everyone will enjoy the pool and hot tub. I contacted Expedia and no practical solution at all. I collected all evidence and filed a credit charge dispute with my credit card carrier already. It is misleading information and misrepresentation by marketing usage of pool and hot tub to attract guests. However, it didn't describe guests need to pay extra fee for access the pool and hot tub, what a scam.

The room was wonderful! Very spacious is an understatement, we had the large apartment and it was such good value, had everything you could need. Staff were pleasant enough. The location is close to a great shopping centre with good food outlets and in walking distance to the Bucharest North train station. Only thing I would not recommend is going for breakfast after 9am, it’s so busy, no chance of a table and very overcrowded. Go before 9am, it was a different experience altogether. Overall, I would stay here again for sure.

Great in every way except one, only one little think that I find it annoying. Elevators. Good functioning two elevators that seemed to be used a lot by staff doing housekeeping. It lacks service elevators unfortunately, hotel is located in what is like a residential building.

We stayed in the large apartment which was spotless, had excellent space, friendly staff who were very accommodating with excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return again.

The spa was supposed to be closed during our stay and they managed to open it which was an added bonus. We were compensated for the loss of the days spa too.

Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Apartment was massive and nicely laid out. Whilst we didn't use the kitchen for cooking it was sufficiently equipped and immaculately clean. We had to turn all the radiators off as it was very warm! Bathrooms clean and showers powerful and hot. One negative, some of the windows probably needed new seals as they let a fair bit of exterior noise in, which disappeared when you pushed them shut harder.

Breakfast buffet had a decent variety of foods and great to be able to sit out on the roof terrace to eat. Never had to wait for a table and the breakfast staff were constantly around making sure there was plenty of everything and tables cleared quickly.

Staff were happy to look after our luggage in safe storage after checkout but before heading back to airport.

Easy Uber to and from Bucharest landmarks and town centre.

Definitely a good choice at a great price.

The rooms are spacious enough but pretty old and smelly. sheets upon arrival were not clean in neither of the bedrooms, and the shower had hair on the floor as well! Also requested deposit to be blocked from our card and be reverted upon checkout, but when we check out another colleague told us that they can not revert it, so we checked out without getting our deposit back, and also after all it was not blocked, it was charged!! breakfast was poor and really strange neighbour

The hotel was excellent and our room was huge and spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The areas leading to the hotel leave a bit to be desired and the nearest metro is a good 15 minute walk away which could be a lot shorter if there was a short cut. Our coffee machine in the room didn’t work but these are just small gripes and would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Spacious apartment with blackout curtains and very quiet! Now, the staff and management should keep up with the maintenance of the property as the tv remote didn’t have batteries, one of the ac units did not have a remote whatsoever, so inoperable, another had a remote but without batteries also. One of the bedroom doors does not close and the shower has a very slow drain. These are easy fixes but it shows lack of proper maintenance.

The space for the apartment is great for families. There is 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms.
However, there was no air condition in each room. The room was quite warm. There was only one pillow per person. There was no black out curtains. In the morning it was very bright. Would be great to have extra pillows. Room service came at 8-9am which I found was very early as we have teenagers and it wasn’t ideal for cleaners to come in so early. On the first day, the cleaners came into our apartment without knocking or ringing the doorbell. We felt that was intrusive.

It was handy to have a kitchenette and fridge.
There was a swimming pool and spa for adults but we needed to pay daily €10 per adult. Kids go for free but an adult must always be present.
Buffet breakfast was great. The food had a good selection.
The location is about 30 minutes to the old town.
There is a shopping mall about 10 minutes walk and the train station is 20 minutes walk away.

I felt right at home!

I’m an American and this was my first time to Romania, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The hotel is safe, clean and professionally run by extraordinarily competent staff.

The size of the rooms was impressively large, if a bit spare, but with a modernist aesthetic. I loved the blackout shades in the windows to catch some sleep because I was jetlagged.

Undoubtedly, one of the best aspects of staying here was both the ample and delicious breakfast on the roof every morning, as well as the sizable gymnasium at basement level.

Though I did not take advantage of the spa services, my hunch is that they are of very high-quality. I look forward to my return trip and staying there again where I can get a beautiful view of the entire city while eating breakfast each morning!

All the staff at the hotel/property were really friendly and nice except for the female staff in the restaurant.

The female staff in the restaurant had no patience and spoke very abruptly I am not sure if it’s because she struggled to understand what I was trying to say. The front desk staff was so welcoming the staff to the pool and the spa were also very nice. Even the 2 males in the restaurant were pleasant.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, our experience here has been nothing short of incredible. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable, and the reception staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay.

We were allocated a Business Apartment, and upon check-in, we were guided through the parking rules—simple and convenient. As long as a space isn’t marked as reserved, you’re free to park anywhere at no additional cost, as it’s included in the stay.

The Apartment – Comfort Meets Functionality

The Business Apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with a fresh, inviting scent. It was fully equipped with high-quality white goods, making it feel like a true home away from home. Thoughtful touches such as complimentary water and coffee, which were replenished daily during housekeeping, made all the difference. The kitchen left nothing to be desired—it was fitted with a fridge, oven, stove, coffee machine, kettle, cutlery, pans, and everything else you’d need for a self-sufficient stay.

The bedroom featured a large and comfortable bed, though the pillows leaned on the softer side. Still, everything else was just perfect. The bathroom was modern, immaculately clean, and well-stocked. In the living area, the sofa bed provided extra space and added to the overall functionality of the apartment.

Absolutely huge room, one of the biggest I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was average. Bed and pillows were horrible, woke up each morning tired and sore back. Paid for spa access, and we showed up in bathing suits and shirts. We were told to go back to the room and take off clothes except bathing suit and robe, and to wear the paper flip flops. The deck was so slippery that both myself and my daughter fell. Overall, we were disappointed.

The complex was massive and has the most amazing spa and pool facilities! The rooms were very spacious and could easily accommodate numerous guests. The restaurant was located on the top floor with a spectacular view of all of Bucharest! The real highlight of our stay was the spa and pool complex. It was massive and expansive, with one large lap pool, a children’s pool and a spa. There were 3 saunas and a steam room , as well as a massage and tanning areas! Making it a very relaxing and comfortable place. The location was alright, it was close to a large shopping centre and metro and tram stops. Again, an amazing place and a great place to stay!

Front desk gentlemen was absolutely fantastic. Help us with transportation, ideas and provide even some decaffeinated coffee for me.
Huge apartment with everything you need. More than everything, but the best things are the mattresses and sheets. The sheets are better then the sheets at Ritz Plaza! Definitely will go back. Included breakfast was awesome as well, not the regular food you get at other places.

Very good size apartments.
No jets in any tub, they are all broken. Kitchen is barely useful, not much available to cook with.
If you're going in the winter and need heating, note that the apartment heaters will make laud noises every hour that require you to wake tweak the settings to make it stop. The advise was to leave them on max to avoid that noise which makes the room a sauna.

Well I went due to the facilities. Spa bath, excellent restaurant etc. jacuzzi bath - all switched off. Restaurant - closed. No reason when I asked and it quite clearly said ‘open’ No local restaurant so walked to Auchan and got bread and beer!!.

The apartment was very nice, with a big living room and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything one could need was there.

The big downside for me was that there was no ramp to enter the building with a stroller. I had to carry the stroller up a steep flight of stairs every time. Same thing getting into the restaurant on the top floor.

The elevators are small and take a while to come. Since I had a stroller, I couldn’t take the stairs.

Almost everything's good. The room is clean and big. The staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast is great. Only things they can improve may be replacing the shower head (there are scratches on my shower head) and provide a bigger tooth paste. I know they can't improve the area right outside the hotel, but it looks a bit freaky at night (the old and broken buildings around the hotel). To emphasize, the hotel area is great.

This is a hotel attached to Spa as opposed to the opposite and so most of the persons on site are users of the gym, pool and other facilities.
There is no doubt that at one point this hotel would of been classed luxurious but today, it looks and feels tired. The decor is dated, as is the furniture and bedding and the bathrooms desperately need renewing. It feels neglected and you sense that the Spa is the priority in the building. There was no receptionist at the desk when we checked in and we waited 15mins for the Spa receptionist to serve us.
We ordered room service food (8.45pm) that was only available until 9.00pm and it took 90mins to arrive. In fairness, the food was very good but at 10.20pm your appetite is beginning to subside.
We stayed in the suite and it was spacious but had only a single air conditioning unit to the Lounge and the outside temperature was over 30 deg, making sleeping difficult. There were 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower that leaked all over the floor. This had a surface mounted multi jet unit but was loose and only partly worked. In it's day in the 70's or 80's this would of been state of the art but today it just looked tacky.
Breakfast was on the upper floor with extensive views and outside seating if you wanted it. The food selection was ok and we left suitably fed but this was not an inspiring stay and I suspect you could find equally or better hotels in the city for your money.

The rooms are HUGE (the living with kitchen alone must be 65 sq meters, plus the rest - bedroom, hallway, bath) - feels like a very large suite. It's in a gated residential complex but the neighboring buildings outside the complex look abandoned.
The PSA is excellent and the restaurant at 11-th floor has good food (excellent breakfast) and great views.

Andrei at the front desk was amazingly attentive. He was courteous and friendly @ all times. The internet was very slow and difficult to connect to as my room did not have a connection. When I asked for assistance the woman at the desk (dark hair and glasses) was useless when I asked for assistance. She merely stated, \" connect to someone else's room\". I explained that I tried she then said it was my fault When I cut myself on a glass the spa stated they could only give me 1 band aid as they needed them for other guests. The restaurant was very good - especially the cheesecake - Please add more Romanian dishes to the menu. Once again Andrei made the stay a wonderful experience,

Shopping centre nearby has everything you need, though we always ended up walking the long way round as could not find a cut through! Staff very accommodating of our 10 year old son. I found the hotel very comfortable but the best thing about the hotel is the staff. The reception staff especially are superb at making you feel welcomed and a valued customer. Its very much home from home. The spa is great and the pool and jacuzzi temperature were perfect. Breakfasts are excellent with a good choice of fresh meat and fish. Biggest problem you will face there is if you are dieting as everything is too tasty. Although you could counter this with the superb gym on site.

The poo/gym/staff were very nice. The apartment is very big but not very clean. The leather(plastic?) couch was literally falling apart, with big and small chunks everywhere that were a chocking hazard for our 8month old. The Solution was to place a bed sheet over the couch…. The location is not really close to anything either so you’ll need a car. For the price we paid you would be FAR better to stay somewhere else.

Huge place with secure parking. Nice shower but needed some work. AC also not never good in hallway leading to the bedrooms. Didn’t do the spa for 10€ per day but looked nice

Unexpectedly nice!
I was in town with a business trip and almost all my meetings were in the area of this property so I decided to try it out.

The location is not the most advantageous or beautiful but I guess that is not very important.

The property seems to be a well renovated old building (I might be wrong) however it is nice.

One thing I can not NOT observe in Romania. Accessibility for people with disabilities. Inexistent. A ramp (properly built) would be so useful for wheelchairs but also luggages as you are forced to pick up your luggage on the stairs. I would expect this from a 4 stars.

The staff was friendly every time, on every shift. I couldn't see them smile due to mask but I bet they did, sometimes.

The amenities were closed due to covid. I would have used them otherwise. The looked very nice and attractive.

The room. Here is the big surprise. It must have been one of the most spacious apartments / hotel rooms I have ever been into. Absolutely amazing. It made me feel so comfortable and at home. Fully equipped, all the details taken care of, bed extra clean and comfortable. I loved it.

Food, (breakfast) - delicious and carefully selected variety of items. Staff in the restaurant very polite.

Parking - free and convenient.

Conclusion - whenever in Bucharest Orhideea will be my main choice of hotels. do not hesitate you will not go wrong with booking a room here.

The 7th Floor extra large suite was phenomenal!!! Very clean and modern updates with tons of room. It was a two bedroom suite with two balconies and a giant living room. The pool, spa, and fitness center are outstanding.

We checked into the Orhideea Spa. Check in was excellent. The staff are excellent and professional with a goid command of English. The apartments are large, clean and stocked with all amenities . An excellent home away from home. The spa and gym facilities are excellent. Breakfast had a variety of choice something for everyone. We dined at the Orhideea Sky and it was a pleasant experience. Before arriving in Bucharest we heard lot of stories about the Romanian. We were a group of 12 black people and the staff and people of Romania went over and above to make our time and experience a pleasant and happy one.
We will definitely be back and would recommend the orhideea Spa and Residence
We travelled via uber everyone was shocked how cheap the rides were.

Orhideea is a nice place, the Spa offers almost anything you think of, but the hotel/residence side of it is dated and in need of some updating. The curtains in the bedrooms are falling of the rods, the railing in the hallway (near elevators and staircase) is flimsy and dangerous, and there is no deadbolt/security lock on the room’s door.
