Welcoming staff and convenient for reaching the museums and train station. Close to a beautiful park.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downside is the smoke alarm on the ceiling right above the bed which has a rather bright blinking light that might annoy some.

Breakfast is basic, rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked although fixed to a specific temperature and only working when card in the room. No hot water on the second day and attempted to say it was our room only, we had 3 other rooms with family in and they were the same. There was nobody available to fix it until 9am when the maintenance person showed up, by that time we were away on a tour.
The hotel is in a good location with access to the local subway a 10 min walk and a 15 min walk to the old town.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, close to the Cismigiu garden and local transportation in the Kogalniceanu plaza. The staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is tasty, however the rooms are quite small, it is a pre-war historical building. If you look for something a little brighter and spaceous this is not it. However, the friendly staff, the convinent location and the breakfast choice make this place a satisfying choice for a short vacation.

A nice hotel which can be reached by getting the 85 bus from Gara Nord. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. A nice touch to have bathrobes and slippers. The buffet breakfast consisted mostly of continental food types although there were fried and scrambled eggs as well as sausages and another hot dish (changed). It was value for money and not too far from the sights if you are happy to walk 15-20mins.

Very nice hotel central to most things. Comfy room with kettle, robes & slippers. It was late by the time I checked in & not many restaurants close by were open & the rain was heavy. Luckily a mini market just next door offered something. Decent breakfast spread. Enjoyed it overall.

Arrived very late (duel to flight delays). Receptionist was there to welcome us which was fine. Arriving in my room I found there was no kettle for me to have a hot drink before going to sleep. There was enough tea and coffee sachets but not kettle. I also could not open the safe. I called reception to ask for a kettle and they told me I would need to wait until 8am the next day when housekeeping came back on. They said I can come down to reception for a cup of hot water though, By then I had already prepared for bed and needed my hot drink so had to quickly put on my clothes back on and run downstairs for a small cup of water.

We paid for a suite and the amenities just were not there, especially the basics. No shower curtain, no kettle (but there were cups and tea service items), missing a chair and a trash can. (Traveled with a friend who had another suite.) AC didnt work properly. Location not quite as central as it was described to be. Breakfast and staff were lovely. Hotel not 5 star, closer to 2.5 star.

Place is nice, We've booked a suite on the 4th floor, Nice and peaceful, but I must say you need to have a shower curtains for the bathtub, It was absolute disaster in the bathroom without this, also a little bin in the room can be quite handy, we only had one in the bathroom. Would I stay there again.? YES I will, but please sort out the bathroom shower curtains. Staff is friendly. I'd have given 5 stars if above 2 can be sorted.

Great location. Within walking distance of main attractions, approx 10 minutes. Staff were polite but didn’t offer any tourist or sightseeing advice. Breakfast was plentiful but a strange mix of food options.
Room was clean and tidy however there was a strong smell of sewage which didn’t really go away. Walls were paper thin and there was a lot of corridor noise. Our room was an adjoining room and unfortunately we could hear everything the next door room was doing and saying.
Bucharest is a lovely city and well looked after. This hotel is ideal if you are just using it as a base to explore.

There is no parking included, just a lot right next to hotel for free if you’re lucky to find a spot and not be trapped in. There is plenty of paid spots around though. The room still had a used coffee mug from previous guest in the room. However I felt comfortable sleeping in the bed was made and bathrooms were sanitized.

I only stayed for one night and was an average stay. Breakfast was included and very good and staff were very nice and helpful!

Very helpful staff on the front desk. Handy location - around a fifteen minute walk to Old Town and University Square. Trolleybus stop outside. Five minutes walk to Izvor metro station. Location is fine, though not in the centre of things. The hotel itself has some nice touches that hark back to Romania's past. I would stay there again for sure.

hotel was more a 3 star but if you're out most of the time it's fine! I had a few issues:
- there was no milk in the room for tea so I went down for some and the receptionist said they didn't have any and that she didn't have access to the kitchen but I read in another review that they can give you some if you ask. The kettle wasn't working so had to go back again later and they didn't have a spare one but she got some from hot water from the machine.
- the shower curtain and pole kept falling down as it's not securely held in place
- there is only one max setting for air-conditioning...so the room goes from extremely hot to really cold in a few minutes. during the night when the room is hot, had to get up to switch the air con on but then 2 hours later it's freezing cold so have to get up again to switch it off! There is no aircon in the bathroom so it's like walking from an ice room into a sauna
- one receptionist said water is topped up in the room every day so when I went back after a 13 hour day in the evening there wasn't any in the room and at that point I couldn't be bothered to go back out to the shop to buy some.
- it's really loud from street noise and there isn't sound proofing so you can hear other guests next door, floors above or in the corridor
The hotel is next to a park, 15 mins to old town and there is a nice lobby area, breakfast is OK. The room had gown and slippers- nice touch and all the amenities for a short visit to Bucharest!

Supposedly a 4 star hotel, however, once I was in my room I noticed the floors where dirty and hairs were stuck to the wall around the shower which was disgusting. The room was far too hot with no way to cool it down which made it difficult to sleep and relax. Tea and coffee was provided, however there was no kettle! I was told to ring reception each time to request a cup of hot water to enjoy a tea or coffee. They clearly can’t be bothered to buy new kettles for the rooms which are missing them. After my first full day in Bucharest I arrived back to my room to find men’s hair all over the bathroom floor which I found not on my disgusting but disturbing as well, the cleaning team need some training as this is clearly acceptable to them. I showed the receptionist who was obviously disgusted as well and she requested it to be cleaned the next day. Obviously, no one checks the cleanliness or work of the cleaners before guests arrive - you arrive and then have to ask them to clean the room (you would think it would already be clean). For a four star hotel I was really disappointed and wish I’d stayed somewhere else.

We had a great stay, the room was big with comfy beds and clean. The bathroom could have done with a shower screen or curtain as the floor got fairly wet after a shower, unless you aimed the shower head towards the wall. The shower was very nice though. Breakfast was good and served for a long time in the morning.

We were happy and got what we paid for. Location is convenient. Room was fairly large and comfortable.

Breakfast is fine but was crowded on one morning and we couldn't get a table.

Our only window was to the inner light well/courtyard. The hotel could try to prevent the living of birds in this space because the accumulation of bird droppings outside the window is kind of gross.

It is a very friendly, intimate and compact little hotel, just right if you're wanting a smaller place to stay with all attendant amenities. Close to the Old Town area and walkable to the Calea Victoriei area. Close to a metro stop, trolley buses, buses, and taxis stop just outside. Breakfast choice is excellent and efficiently served. They will attempt to seek out answers to your questions! The only niggle I have is that they charge 5 euros for replenishing the tea and coffee sachets for one's room, and no UHT milk or creamer is supplied. This seems a bit steep to me and shouldn't really be charged. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again given the opportunity.

Close to the Old Town area with a metro stop nearby and on the route of a number of trolley buses. Also walkable to the Calea Victoreie main city road. Breakfast is recommended - they provide a wide range of cooked and cold foodstuffs with very efficient service.

Hotel is pleasant. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly, however the cleaners were terible. Had to ask 3 times to get a refill for basics. The area is great, ose to Cismigiu gardens and Old town so everything in a walking distance. Its really affordable. Cons:the water pressure was poor and the tap was loose and leaking. Some of the furnishings were damaged by previous customers. There is no bar in the hotel whichbis a shame, but there are several coffee shops and bars close by.

Hotel was very hot with poor/no air conditioning.
Rooms are basic, but location is good - only a 10/15 min walk from main area.
Having said that, it was incredibly noisy at night and it was difficult to get sleep.
Housemaid also removed a membership card we had left in to keep a toothbrush charging whilst we were out - not a big deal but should never have been taken - if anything if it needed removed it should have been placed on the side unit.
Staff were professional but did not interact much. Very poor excuse for a bar. No atmosphere (if that is what you look for in a hotel - hardly saw another resident)

The decor is conducive with the little Paris theme. The chamber maids need more attention to detail, towels missed one day, no loo roll another, tea and coffee supplies not topped up, if you are in when they arrive they are a little too eager to say it will be cleaned the next day rather than a little latter on, light bulbs where missing from 2 lamps and the paint was coming off the ceiling by the shower. Don’t get me wrong it’s ok but not 4*

The room carpets have paint marks, I was given a towel with a hole into it, I have got coffee in the room only in the first day, and when I asked for more the staff told me that I get only in the first day, even if I stayed 12 days, I had to ask them to replace the drinks what consumed from the minibar,and this happens the next day Also, I was hearing the room attendance staf talking about me in an unrespectful way. So, in my opinion, the hotel doesn't deserve the 4 stars rating at all.

The hotel is in a pretty central location, by Cismigiu Park, and is relatively quiet and clean. The rooms are small and if you don't get a room facing the boulevard, there is not much light during the day. The breakfast in the morning is OK, not extraordinary but just enough to start the day decently. they are not very generous with the toilet paper, shampoo and there is no conditioner provided. The place is functional, but could certainly be better for the money though.

Nicely modernised, with excellent and friendly front-desk service, it had fresh and good condition towels and bedding. I would recommend it as it was good value and the rooms were of a decent size.

I actually stayed here 3 times on the same trip. All three times were a single night with the group I was traveling with and then I extended for some additional nights at the end of the trip. 3 stays 3 different rooms. Room #1 was ok. All the rooms are oddly shaped. This room had a very large bathroom. Bedroom was ok but no place for a suitcase. There were 2 of us. We asked for a luggage rack and the staff was friendly and promptly brought one.
Room 2. Much smaller. No room for luggage. We asked for a luggage rack and were told there were none but they brought us a chair that was broken and could not hold a suitcase. Got up early to catch a flight and was less than thrilled to find ants all over the bathroom.
Room 3 was very small for 2 people. No place for luggage and no place for a luggage rack so we didn’t ask.
Each stay was met with less service and helpfulness from the staff. Daily we had to have our room keys redone because they no longer worked. In the evening you had to wait for the desk staff to finish their smoke break before this could be done.
Breakfast was ok. The coffee machine never worked correctly. The woman in charge of the breakfast room was very helpful with that and would frequently just do it for you.
