We read reviews before we booked but sadly when we were a couple of days away from going there were some bad reviews about the noise from neighbouring clubs that open at 11pm and shut at 5am !!! So all we could hear was boom boom boom boom vibrating through the room until the early hours. We know its not the hotels fault but we asked to be moved and they said oh but you'd get road noise if we move you to the front and no vacancies and only a double bed, we are two friends who don't want to share a bed hence booking a twin room.
The pictures of the hotel are old. It is run down and needs sprucing up outside. The rooms were ok but need updating. Bar in basement of hotel is good but only sells GIN and cocktails and is very dark and you cant see to read the menu. Food was mediocre for breakfast but was ok. The hotel is on a very very busy main road. There is a deralict building behind which some people are living in and is not pleasing to the eye and grafitti all along the buildings near this hotel. Its a central location for the old town but a run down area. I would not stay anywhere near this hotel or visit again.
We asked if they could at least waive the bar bill £24 !! (mainly water) for the inconvenience of no sleep for 3 nights (take heavy duty ear plugs) but no we had to pay. Very very disappointed and it is NOT a 4* hotel.

Right next to Old Town and within walking distance to the Palace of Parliament and the Atheneum. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast has a good variety of dishes. Highly recommended!

Super location, friendly staff and good value for money. We loved that the hotel was located right in the old town and close to a taxi rank and bus stops. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was provided and they were happily able to accommodate my friends gluten intolerance. All in all a good, budget option

The hotel is located walking distance from the city centre , excellent location, staff polite and professional. Our only issue was that we were closed to the staff lift and it was very noisy from early morning and this prevent us from resting. The whole morning we could hear banging of doors or different utilities. The room was specious and well maintained with lovely view. Breakfast variety could be better, a small breakfast seating area. Parking is available, paid but secure. Altogether we had a good time. Thanks

We stayed in total for 9 days in November 2025. The location was perfect in Old Town with easy access to the Metro, Old Town for restaurants and bars and short distances to some major sights. The hotel Manager and Reception staff were professional, courteous and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a minibar if one wanted to use, a coffee maker and an in room safe for security. Hot water always available in the shower and bathroom. There was also a heated towel rail which was useful on chilly mornings that we had whilst there. Heating was very efficient. The buffet breakfast was excellent with av variety of hot and cold foods. Serving and kitchen staff were very helpful and spoke reasonable English. Overall a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located in the old town. A stone’s throw away from the cobbled streets full of dining and drinking options. You are also very close to the Parliament Palace, the National Cathedral, Opera House, Revolution Square, National Theatre…the list goes on. The hotel has everything you need and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The in- house massage was amazing - worth every penny after a long day of walking around visiting the sights of Bucharest.

Overall, it was a decent enough hotel and in a good location on the edge of the old town. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of food and well stocked.

The room itself was a great size however we were on the old town side of the building which was subject to very loud music until 1:30 am (On a Wednesday night). Also the shower leaked onto the floor in the bathroom and there was a slightly odd smell in the room.

Property is clean. Location is good - easy for taxis to drop off at the front, but also has a back door into the pedestrianised old town. We didn’t experience any noise issues even though we had a balcony. Breakfast is adequate although the breakfast area is cramped. Only negative is that the area was full of mosquitos (common for Bucharest in late summer) and as cleaning staff kept leaving windows open we had quite a few come into the room and were bitten a few times. Otherwise all good.

Very comfortable stay at The Concorde. Reception staff were friendly and Christina was great at responding to my queries. Breakfast was buffet style that you find in most hotels but the staff there were very diligent at ensuring that all was as it should be I would say that they were exceptional really. I would stay here again.

Rooms: 5/5 - room was clean and tidy. There’s a mini bar but not enough room to keep your own beverage or food cold. The air conditioner worked well. The mattress is a foam mattress which was semi hard at first.

Service: 5/5 overall the entire staff did an excellent job from the morning breakfast staff to the concierge. One morning, they prepared me a bagged breakfast as I wasn’t able to make it at 7:30 am. You need to give them a day’s notice.

Atmosphere: 5/5 a nice vibe to the place. There’s a back door to the Old Town.

The hotel is direct in the old town, with a back entrance into the car free streets but the front is convenient for taxis etc. The rooms are older style but well appointed and very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the terrace was just lovely. Great choice if you Wang to be in the heart of the old town.

The location is 10/10. The hotel is really nice and clean.
Our issues : we got a single loft type room with 3 beds all in a line, we wanted some space from the kids but there were no walls.
Also the beds and pillows are not great, so the sleep quality was 4/10.

We arrived at the hotel in the early morning hours. The room we received had a strong smell of mold. We were four friends and were given two rooms – one was spacious, but the other was small and unfit for guests. The sink was clogged, and it was difficult to open the door due to the room’s layout.

Only in the morning were we moved to a different room, and it took two full days until they found us another room next to our friends. We were celebrating a birthday, but the staff completely missed the note – we didn’t receive anything, not even a bottle of water in the room. We had to take water from the minibar and pay for it.

At the end of our stay, we asked for a late check-out at 5:00 PM, and they asked us to pay half the price of one room. The Israeli hotel owner claimed there was no option for a more flexible arrangement.

Very disappointing and far from what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Well run and a good standard of hotel very conveniently located in Bucharest Old Town. We liked the rear door which accessed directly onto the pedestrian street with bar and restaurants. It had its own basement bar which is well worth a visit. All the staff from the reception, breakfast and room service were excellent and very helpful. Thanks you again for a wonderful stay.

Hotel staff were informative and polite
Always on hand for anything needed or requested. The hotel is in a perfect location to enable perfect access to all the popular tourist spots.
Hotel was clean,tidy,quiet and spacious.
We opted for a balcony room which was a perfect suntrap in the 38 degrees we were experiencing.
Breakfast was plentiful and a great variety to suit every appetite.
Bed and pillows comfortable.
Air conditioning was fabulous.

Shower brilliant.
Downstairs bar is a hidden gem and a new addition to the hotel
A perfect finish to pur Romanian experience.

The hotel was in an ideal location for exploring Bucharest as I was able to walk everywhere. I even had a glimpse of the evening fountain light show from my room! The room was clean, and the bathroom had lots of storage space. Most importantly, the air conditioning was great during a heat wave. The breakfast was very good, with lots of variety and the people working in the breakfast room were friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was dry and unwelcoming—no greeting, no smile, and no offer to help, which immediately set the wrong tone. Once we entered the room, we were hit by an awful smell coming from the bathroom, which made it hard to feel comfortable. The carpeted hallway had a similarly unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, there were holes in the bedsheets—something completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4 stars. The overall quality and service fell far short of expectations, and the value for the price is simply not there. This is by no means a true 4-star experience.

In a good location however close to a main road so very noisy. Windows felt like they weren't even shut, so could hear the noise from traffic and sirens throughout the night. If you wish to sleep I wouldn't recommend staying here. Air-conditioning also did not work in the room. Breakfast choices were very limited, cereal was stale.

the hotel is in a great location, though it is by the restaurants in the old town it was very quiet at night.
The breakfast is excellent and the options available are different each day. The rooms are very comfortable with plenty of space.
The service was excellent, we went on a day trip and missed the breakfast so the hotel provided a take away pack.

This hotel is great if you don't like large chain hotels. It is very central to the old town and other sites and near the metro station. We had a lovely room but it did get really hot. We tried to sleep with the window open but it was really noisy but just one of those things. All in all, a lovely stay.
