The hotel is large and seemingly mostly empty? The shower didnt work properly, as the handheld could not be attached to the wall and the overhead did not engage. Seems like they built the hotel for activities that have not yet materialized, giving it a bit of a weird vibe.

Worst hotel experience ever. The room was extremely dirty, the staff were rude and completely unprofessional, and nothing matched what was advertised online. The bathroom smelled terrible, basic amenities were missing, and when I complained, nobody cared or tried to help. This place clearly does not respect its guests. I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Total waste of money and time.

Disappointed about the hotel - better with staff

The hotel staff was very service minded and a big plus. The hotel itself is showing signa of being old. The window in my room had big cracks in it and were certainly not sound proof. TV was broken and the bathroom tub was dirty. Gym didn’t open until 0900 which is strange. Food was average, nothing to shout about. Selection was poor to mediocre. Price of beer was ridiculously high (450tl pr beer)! Problem was there were no menu stating the price. So you order and get the unpleasant surprice afterward.

Hotel is dated and in need of a refurb. I travel a lot and I have never been in a hotel where when you ask to borrow an iron and a board in the morning you are told “not before 6 PM”. When I made the point I needed for a meeting that morning I was told I could fill a form and pay for it but would not be delivered before an hour. Appalling!!!! Not coming back anytime soon. Rooms are not clean and furniture full of sigarette burns.

Fast check in / check out, friendly reception staff, wonderful and varied buffet breakfast, room was large. Extra cost ($25) for outdoor pool and free for the indoor pool. Perfect location if arriving to Sabiha airport, 5 minute drive to closest metro station. It is a hotel that had a golden age and tries to reclaim its place, but some things drag it back: the two shower towels had notorious old holes (see pictures), something unforgivable in a country that sells inexpensive great quality towels.

They upgraded my room from a city view to a sea view. They failed to communicate about a dry cleaning issue. Rooms look a little old and cigarette stains really detract. The property has a few minor maintenance issues. It is close enough to the water. I will come back again.

The air conditioner in our room would not bring the temperature below 26. We were too hot. The ice machine did not work. There was a bathtub but we couldn’t get a stopper. There is a button outside the room to press if you want your room cleaned but it wasn’t working. There is an outdoor pool but the hotel charges guests 1,000 tl each to use it.

The staff were kind but they kept promising to fix things and no one came

This hotel has potential but the staff here is unprofessional, unhelpful and does not care about their clients. First the issue of the air conditioning; apparently it makes more sense to use a calendar date to turn on the AC then to actually evaluate the temperature , which was very warm at the beginning of May-the staff lied to me telling me they would get it fixed or give us another room, even sending a tech to the room instead of being honest about there being none at all for our stay. The lobby and auditorium were nice and cold though. Restaurant is over priced and staff are more interested in their conversations than serving, but they put a service charge on the bill. Housekeeping had days they wouldn’t show up at all or they came at 4:30pm after we’d been out all day, they were continuously taking our key card with them that we left in the electric panel, if the do not disturb was on we were still disturbed. Front desk barely spoke English in an international hotel and never addressed concerns-directions were asked for the metro and wrong information was provided. I will not stay here again.

Terrible that the staff cannot communicate properly with guests-working in hospitality and also as an international centre for so many events you would think that they would be more fluent.
Huge problem with air conditioning and being lied to about fixing the problem when the entire hotel doesn’t have it until they restart it in the middle of May but multiple staff were saying they would fix it even sending a technician to the room. I could have accepted the explanation earlier on but did not appreciate the ill trained staff.

odaya girdiğimiz zaman mis gibi tertemiz bir odayla karşılaştık. masamızın üzerinde taze meyve tabagi yanında kuru yemiş tabagi bizi bekliyordu. Hergün odamıza su ve kahve çay yenilemesi yapıldı. banyomuz odamız havlularımız çok temizdi. - ağır kokulu oda spreyleri sıkılmamıştı- kötü yorumlardan dolayı biraz çekin miştik ama her şey mükemmeldi.

Worse experience of a hotel stay ever!
I am sure once it was a great hotel, as the building is of great architecture for a sea front hotel, the hotel was great probably right after it was founded 15 years ago, and thereafter it started to degrade with no maintenance at all!! Almost no amenities were working as they should!
No air conditioning in the rooms, broken shower head,
The hotel is advertised with air condition that works as fan only! Neither cooling nor heating does not work! First room which was heated by sunlight temperature increased to 30C our room was changed to the cooler side of building but during night time the temperature fell below 20C and air condition was not able to heat up!
Don’t be fooled by 5 stars, it is all about the tooth brush and bath room supplies which no one really uses! In reality the hotel cannot compete with one star guest house and is only a better alternative rather than sleeping at street side!
Cleaning also is an issue, there was a used wound plaster on the floor in front of room door which remained there until the last day! The pool change room was never cleaned as smelled like toilet! And the toilet was broken! Corridors were unnecessarily too dark hardly able to notice any clean or dirty surfaces!
The room’s shower head was broken water was bolted to our head! The sink drain was very slow! We gave up calling for several services with no results and we were only waiting to check out and escape from the disaster hotel!

Memnun kalmadık. Havlu bile yoktu odada, bir havlu getirmeleri bir saat sürdü. Resepsiyonda kimse telefonlara bakmıyor. Isıtma sisteminde bir sıkıntı mı vardı artık bilmiyorum açmamıza rağmen kaldığımız süre boyunca üşüdük. Çıkarken de depozitoyu almak için uğraştık, kayıt altına almamış olmalılar ki bana kime verdiğim soruldu, birbirlerinden haberleri yok.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and overall, the experience was positive. The reception and check-in process were quick and straightforward. The room was spacious enough, although it didn't have a mini bar. However, complimentary instant coffee and tea were provided. If you're someone who drinks a lot of water, be prepared to bring extra or order additional bottles, as the provided supply might not be sufficient.

During my stay, the weather in Istanbul was mild, but I found that the air conditioning system was not functioning properly. When I tried to use it for heating, it made the room feel colder instead of warmer.

The hotel itself is quite large. My booking did not include breakfast, so I didn’t have the chance to try their food, but I found out that breakfast costs 750 TL (approximately $22). The staff were friendly, and room service was efficient and prompt.

Despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely stay here again.

Stay wasn’t amazing! Buffet was average, we had to ask for a bed for our son 3 times, asked to have our fridge replaced 3 times as the one in our room wasn’t working and it smelled really bad. We had to ask to have our room cleaned after the first day - we stayed 5nights. They didn’t clean the room the last day. Wait staff at the restaurant have to be called over for service. Hotel is musty and old.

We were about to cancel the hotel stay after reading recent reviews. However we are glad we didn't. Fair enough, some bits of the room decor were a little worn and the shower head did have a sideways leak.

But for a one or two night stay, it was absolutely fine. Bedding was clean as was the bathroom.

Check in was a little difficult as the room I was given had a broken door. It took 20-30 min before we were finally reassigned a different room. The room was clean and the view was beautiful. It should be noted that the outdoor pool costs extra! Everyone is also required to wear a swim cap in the pool.

The hotel itself it’s a very nice place to stay, but the service is horrible and this is the second time we’re not able to use the pool or the Jacuzzi area.
