This property is one of my all-time favorites. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is buffet style but could not be better or more fresh!!! The staff is welcoming and attentive.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the shower was clogged and the balcony door did not lock, which was a major safety concern. I reported both issues within 45 minutes of checking in, but no engineer came to address them. I had to repeatedly follow up and remind staff that the problems had not been fixed. Because the balcony door was unsecured, I did not feel comfortable leaving my room or fully enjoying my planned activities, as I had valuables inside and did not feel safe. They were friendly over the phone and text but it took forever to get anything fix as I should have been given a room like this.
The issues were not resolved until the third morning of my stay, which left us with only one day to truly relax and enjoy the resort.
We did spend time at the pool, which was nice, but everything was quite expensive, which I expected. However, I was disappointed that gratuity was automatically added to every order, whether it was a single drink at the bar or a small appetizer poolside. The gratuity amounts were quite high, and it seemed to impact the level of service, as the staff were not particularly friendly. The young lady kept telling me she's off in 10 minutes and that I need to hurry to order.

We booked through Hotels.com which said ALL fees included. At check-in we were not told about being charged resort fees and taxes. When I asked if there were any other fees, the receptionist told me “No” but when we checked out they charged us a resort fee of $40 plus taxes. Yes, it’s only 40$ but we specifically asked when checking in and so it really leaves you in a bad mood when you leave. The front desk was also pretty rude about it.

This was are 2nd time to this Hilton property and it did not disappoint. There had been remodeling done since our last trip & it was very nice. Love this resort and have booked another stay for October. You wouldn’t have to leave the resort if you didn’t want too. Plenty of amenities. Food is delicious! Wonderful breakfast with omelet and waffle and pancakes made to order along with an amazing buffet. Food at the other restaurants did not disappoint. Two large pools that never feel crowded. Plenty of outdoor seating. Ice cream & pizza available at pool area in assisting to outside restaurant. The resorts private beach area is large and close to pool area with a very short walk to the beach. Spa on the property has a. Umber of services. Room service. Laundry facilities. Valet parking. Upscale steak restaurant. Nice gift shop. Sushi restaurant. Indoor pool. Workout facilities. Best place to stay in San Destin or Destin. Love this place!!!

the reservation of the beach set ups was not a good one, especially the front release what's available when you have a paying customer and then you cant choose where you want to be they do ask what row. Rooms didn't get cleaned past 2 pm during my stay. breakfast was ok nothing to impress. check your room charges they didnt have cash registers open most of the time

A convenience store would be nice, especially when it's so far to walk another facility. Also, the balconies could use lounge chairs instead of the cheesy table and chairs. It's a nice balcony, and people would like to stretch out and relax.

We had a great stay at Hilton Sandestin. The shuttle to the wharf was a great touch, since it was a little too chilly to go to the beach one day. The food was good, breakfast and drinks were more expensive than it probably should have been but that’s expected at a Hilton. We really enjoyed the lounge with music entertainment in the afternoons and the indoor pool when the weather wasn’t favorable. Overall, we plan to return!

We had a few hiccups with getting my room etc and the manager, I forgot her name maybe a Hawaiian lady, was excellent and made everything better.She was very professional and empathetic to me. The staff was great , the cleaning ladies had the rooms really clean and on top of it. My family had a great time. The only thing they need help on is the breakfast buffet. Some mornings when we went the food was cold and unseasoned. It was just ok. The pizza was good and the quesadilla we had was good though. Also, the internet went out and they fixed it. I felt my money was well spent. I have not been anywhere in years and this was a great experience thanks to this resort.

The resort has great walking paths.The resort is exceptional clean but unfortunately it’s very unstaffed for example our check in was at 4 pm but we got our rooms at 6 pm . They gave us meal vouchers for the delay. Because of understaffing if go to the restaurant in resort it will take 30 to 60 just to get water. The waiter will come after 45 minutes to take your order. The staff is overworked and you can see it in their body language.All this falls on management . Hope they improve this problem.

The cleaning staff were poor when it comes to cleanliness. When they came in to clean the room, they barely did anything. The floor was not vacuumed. The bed was haphazardly made. Blankets and pillows were left on my luggage for no reason. Trash was still left instead of being picked up. The toilet roll was placed with the wrapper still on the roll like they didn’t want to be there for work. When I went to the receptionist, they claimed they understood. The next day, they did make one of the beds and left the other one messy and untouched. You expect the staff to do their job especially since they’re being paid for such services. The area is okay, but the staff are not since they don’t care about keeping the property clean.

I finally stopped her and asked her what her job was as we had never been to this resort. After that we met a nice person I think her name was Sharon and she was much better.

It was our first time to Destin, and hands down best stay ever- because of the hotel and location. We had a walk out patio with direct access to the beach. It’s a gorgeous white sand, clear warm water beach. The resort is astounding with several restaurants, an affordable breakfast buffet (kids eat free with adult purchase). They have several outdoor pools with daily activities, and even a huge indoor pool and hot tub for rainy days. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, and beds are very comfortable. Not to mention the firework show from the hotel deck. This stay swayed me to become a Hilton honors member!!

Hotel over all is nice. Cons- EVERYTHING is ridiculously overpriced, they charge a $100 incidental charge PER DAY, so right at check in they charged my card $400 which of course is refundable. They also charge a $40 a day resort fee, when I asked what is was for I was told it was instead of paying for parking “and things like that” they just lump it all into one charge…we flew here. The outdoor pool closes at 11 which is fine but they also kick you off the deck. So you can even sit outside and relax unless you go out to the actual beach. The deck is massive, and I understand if people are being loud but they came and kicked my 12 year old daughter and I off the deck for sitting in a chair listening to the waves and talking about the stars. Bartenders at the outdoor bar are rude and the drinks were terrible quality. Beds are mediocre and bedding is even worse. Beach gets so crowded and so much space is taken up by the beach chair service and more than half just sit empty. Pros- Nice rooms, kids loved the bunkbeds. Starbucks on site. Lots of dining options, free tram to Baytown Warf.

Air conditioner did not work as it should. There was black mold on the drapes next to the air vent. The light in the bathroom was out. I reported it on the day of arrival and nothing was fixed. I requested a different room because of the issues and did not like the spa tower. We have always stayed at the main tower but they said we could not change rooms!!
