Amazing hotel, great deal for its price, the staff is very friendly, smiling and always welcoming. The rooms are spacious, have great design, there is a good terrace in the roof. One thing I didn’t like was the cleaning service. I put the towel ok the floor to have it exchanged, but the cleaning lady just hung it back on the rack. That was crazy. The rest is great!

I planned on visiting in august, plans changed but this hotel still appealed. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff hospitable, helpful and very courteous.
I did not include breakfast in my booking but the option to add it was worthwhile.
The hotel is in a brilliant location near the cathedral while the other attractions are easily reached.
In short the location, ambiance, facilities and staff make this a great place to stay when in Cadiz.

Taxis can not drive to the door, but it is an easy 3 minute walk from the drop off to the door. The rooms are nice, comfortable, the breakfast is good and there is an abundance of shopping and dinning choices within 5 min. walk. Hop on hop off stop is also a 3 or 4 min. walk. just off a plaza and next to the main walking ally to the market area. The staff is very helpful with directions and suggestions. It's hard to see from a short distance (the sign can be bigger or stand out more) but the place is beautiful, well kept and accommodating and in my view very underrated.

Great little hotel close to central market in Cadiz. Modern room with a good shower, AC, internet, and a comfy bed.

I appreciate the hotel stipulates its a 1 star hotel, but I do think some small changes would further enhance the guest experience:

A kettle in the room with some tea/coffee (this is well remarked by many guests)

Ensuring towels arent damaged when replenishing towels (slight larger, higher quality, towels would also be great).

Breakfast quality could be improved and again some quality control to remove chipped plates from service (and ensure cultery is clean). Perhaps have a smaller breakfast offering but focus on quality.

I would stay again, but would probably skip breakfast.

No parking facilities at the hotel. The parking is approx 5 min walk. The fact that they accept animals is a little bit of a problem. The dog next door to us started barking at 12:30 at night and 8:30 in the morning. The hotel is a good location close to everything. Room was very clean.

The hotel is in a good area to explore the city on foot and is surrounded by good cafes , restaurants and bars . It is a 15 min walk to La Caleta beach . The room is small but the shower and bathroom facilities were good .
The breakfast is terrible . There is very little selection , the toaster doesn’t work and the food looked and tasted as having been recycled from yesterday . What we think was turkey slices were described as “braised peacock “ which in all likelihood would taste better .
The receptionist who checked us in late at night was very pleasant and helpful .

The recommended car park is a bit of a way from the hotel (but the hotel's very central to the old town which is all pedestrianised) - nonetheless a bit of a slog transporting luggage in the August heat.

The only negative was a bit of noise in the night, maybe someone dragging their suitcase down the stairs? But every hotel we went to in Spain was noisy, this one was probably one of the least noisy. We realized that all the train tickets were sold out for the time when we needed to leaf for Seville for a flight the next day. Front desk staff were helpful. Our room was at top of the building and free standing. It was comfortable, clean, and well-apointed. The bed had a plastic cover under the sheets that was a little annoying, however. The breakfast buffet was extensive enough and the place well located.

Brilliant small hotel

This is a 1star hotel, but this doesn’t do it justice. It is a superb, clean, welcoming hotel in the centre of Cadiz. I’ve visited Cadiz 5x and this is the perfect location- one minute walk from the cathedral, three to the amazing food market. Really friendly staff. The bed is super comfortable, the a/c is excellent and a great shower. I travelled all over Spain for 3 weeks and this was the bargain of the trip. Highly recommend.

I had already booked another place in Cadiz but ended up coming to the city two days earlier, so I stayed here for a couple of nights. I actually really loved this hotel, and if it had had a kitchenette I would have stayed the entire time. You can't get a location much closer to the cathdral, and the rooftop offers spectacular views. What really stood out, though, were the lovely staff. Incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I even ended up stopping back by a few days after leaving to ask if I could use the restroom, and they remembered me and said \"of course! You can always come here and sit down, use the restroom, leave your suitcases, anything.\" How common would that level of hospitality be once you're no longer a customer? Definitely a little gem of a hotel in my favorite city in Spain.

Fabulous!!! It should be a 3 or 4* hotel.

I travel a lot and have stayed in 4 and 5* hotels which don't come close to this place. Why it's a 1* baffles me. It should be a 3* at least.
The welcome was warm and friendly on arrival. Super nice and a genuine welcome, with treats for the dog.
The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, tasteful decorated and very different.
It has a lovely breakfast area and having seen the breakfast, I was sorry that I didn't have it.
The roof terrace is gorgeous, sunny and quiet.
The room was huge, modern and again spotlessly clean. Lovely bed and quality linen. Great shower and very nice big bathroom. They had put dog bowls out and a dog bed, which wasn't a lovely touch too, which really helped.
Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for them and I was sorry to leave such a fabulous hotel. I'll be back!!

The hotel location is perfect. The major tourist attractions are within easy walking distance, but the location in a quiet side street means little noise.
The hotel doesn't have a range of fancy facilities, but offers good accommodation and a warm welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was great. Really clean, nice room, super comfy bed, and quite cheap too. It's right in the middle of town, so a 5 min walk from parking.

It's obviously noisy, being in town, but if you don't want that then you shouldn't be staying in one of the most densely populated areas of Europe!

Schönes hist. Gebäude mit Charakter in zentraler Lage in einer Seitengasse ca. 200 m neben der Kathedrale in der Altstadt von Cadiz, tolle saubere Zimmer mit hohen Decken, hist. Innenfensterläden, Verdunklungsvorhängen, bequemen Queensizebett, gutem WLAN und Klima bzw. Heizungsanlage (die war gut und wichtig, da wir im Januar da waren), das Frühstück war in Ordnung aber verbesserungswürdig. Wir haben frischen Orangensaft, Ei und Honig vermisst. Salz und Pfeffer gehören auf jedem Tisch (statt nur 1 für alle Tische gleichzeitig). Mit diesen Kleinigkeiten wäre auch das Frühstück eine runde Sache gewesen bzw. hätte mehr dem Rest des schönen Hauses entsprochen. Wir können die Unterkunft (hier DZ mit Balkon) - trotz kleiner Abstriche beim Frühstück -uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
