Number of apartments in 3 or so nearly next to each other buildings. Clean, surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Only issue was the sleeping area is up on a mezzanine, not ideal in the middle of the night. Managed to utilise the underground parking which was handy although tight in a larger car. Easy walk around the 'island' central area, bars and restaurants on same street.

Good location, 15 minutes walk from the historic center, bus stop across the street from the hostel and very close to the train station. Small room, beds were quite uncomfortable, and the lack of a mini-fridge in a 34 degree heat outside was a clear minus for us. Also, the room we had was quite noisy being located next to the elevator.

Great place to stay to explore Cadiz on foot, close to La Caleta beach, the historic quarter, cathedral, castle of San Sebastián and the Mercado de Abastos, central main market. Lots of bars. Right outside is Taberna Casa Manteca famous for its tortillitas camerones. We had the superior double room which was huge, lots of space for two of us, loads of room for all our luggage as we are on a road trip. Stayed three nights, great location, busy but quiet. Parking is limited in an underground garage but if available (can’t reserve) when you get there, it’s 18€ per night which is pretty steep but public parking is 15€ for 24 hours. Rooms and bathroom spotless and well serviced. Very modern. Loved the fact there are loads of USB sockets, very rare in most hotels and we are usually fighting for them. Bathroom spacious and well stocked. Large shower but the small shower head isn’t fixed so if you are a lady who doesn’t want to get your hair wet under the rainfall headevery time you have a shower, you have to hold the small one over you which is a nuisance - probably my one criticism. There was abundant hot water which was excellent considering the water is solar heated, I was expecting it to run out after one shower after I saw the sign saying please use sparingly. Breakfast was ok. We got it cheaper when we booked but I would not have wanted to have paid the full 18€ for it. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice terrace and sea view. The only slight criticism is a lack of drawer storage, so we had to stack clothes on the wardrobe shelves.

The breakfast was very good, with both cooked and cold options.

The location is excellent. Very close to the beach, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants near by.

To start off there were not clear signs as to where the reception area was and we had to make an international phone call which wasnt helpful. We asked around and finally someone pointed to an open door across the street. We inquired where to park the car and were given obtuse directions as well as the staff wasnt as polite. Found parki g on our own by driving around which in Cadiz is a nightmare though not the hotels fault. While the property was very clean. The ac shut off for 4 hours at a time which made sleeping in June uncomfortable.

Lovely light appartment with a good shower and bathroom. Many restaurants nearby and the advantage of being at the top of town was a short walk to the beach. (La Caleta)
Breakfast very good value . I especially liked the selection of fruit juices. Visited jerez and puerto santa Maria while i was there.

The rooms were in good order but lacked a personal touch. The rooms felt cold and sparse.
The hotel reception staff were excellent and very attentive.

We went for an Indian meal at the Bollywood restaurant. IT WAS NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE. My wife was ill throughout the night and I had a stomach upset for 3 days afterwards. Service was not the best. From my exprience it would not be on my recommended list.

Prime location with parking, great service

We booked a small studio with sofa and a kitchen, the studio is big enough and very comfortable. The room is a bit humid but we turned on AC so it was ok. The location is perfect, within minutes from the seaside, old town and central market. We also paid for parking which is in a gated area, very secure. Extra star to the staff who was kind enough to clean our front windshield on our last day. Very sweet gesture and we really appreciate it. Would recommend this to travellers visiting Cádiz.

Very close to the beach and in a nice, safe neighbourhood with some restaurants and convenience stores. Note that most of the better restaurants and plazas (ie the livelier part of town) is about a 15 minute walk away.

This room has an unusual layout and all windows face the walls of other buildings. Still, the room is spacious and comfortable, and a good value.

This is a lovely property with really helpful and friendly staff. Location is within an easy walk of everything you want to see in Cádiz. The studio was spacious and comfortable, the rooftop patio was wonderful and there are free laundry machines. We would stay here again.

The queen bed was quite comfortable, but the one bedroom unit we had was quite spartan in its furnishings, and we were unable to turn on the heat despite the cold rainy night we were there. So, warm under the covers, but cool in the room.

There are a couple of buildings across the street from one another and it is a vibrant street with cafes right outside that close down in the late afternoon and reopen at 8 pm till late.There's a nice grocery store nearby and we made a little snack of sardines olives crackers chorizo pate etc to hold us over till things reopened The room was clean and everything worked perfectly. Lots of beautiful sights within 10 minutes walk and we had the best calamari ever right around the corner at Restaurante Entre Castillos. It's a very nice spot and the staff were great. Parking was full so we parked at the public lot about 4 minute walk from the hotel. Easy

Value for money plus much, much more!

This place is top-notch. You get incredible value staying at a property where you'd expect to pay much more. Rooms are clean and comfortable, much larger than expected, and with many additional features. The location is great, with many shops in the area, and only a short walk to the seaside. It's also not that far to the centre of town where you will find the cathedral and the many shopping streets. I'll definitely stay here when I return to Cadiz.

Had been contacted before for personal info. Staff we very upbeat on arrival. The room was fab, had a sofa and table with kitchen. Bed was really comfy, shower was fab. Also had a great roof terrace, you can see the sun go down. Can also use washing machine and tumble drier if needed. The breakfast room was a couple of minutes walk from our block. Great variety of foodstuffs, really enjoyed the breakfast. We used the clothes lines as weather was very decent with a breeze. The local area has so many cafes, restaurants and bars. Also quite a few supermarkets are close by. Cadiz has an amazing about of lovely streets to wander. Great sea views and great beaches. The walk to the train station is about 20 minutes. There are numerous buildings to visit and view, close to the apartment there is a castle on an island you can walk to. We would recommend Cadiz as there is a lot to do and see. Can also say that we really enjoyed the apartment and would definitely stay again. Cheers 😁😁

Simple, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is a great location 5 minutes from the beach, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but the room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and amenities like a clothes drying rack in the room, laundry machines, and beach towels to borrow made everything easy. The rooftop patio was very nice, with a view of the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that hot water in the shower runs out quickly.

Great stay at Plaza de la Luz Cádiz. An unusual set up with the accommodation being over five buildings, so reception and breakfast were in different buildings to our room, but close by in the same street.
Breakfast buffet included a good selection of hot and cold choices.
Word of warning, 99% of bars outside the very centre close between 16.00 and 20.00/20.30, but once open in the evening are full and buzzing, good idea to book a table somewhere.

Arriving I pulled up outside for my wife to nip inside and ask the directions for the car park. Minutes later she arrived back with a map and directions, it was less than five minutes away!
Check in was easy (we had pre checked in). Our room was in a different block about four doors down in the same street. The room was large with everything we needed including a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. Shower was good and everything really clean.
It’s in a great location right in the middle of the old town (fisherman’s area), famous for its Tapas bars. We went on a pre booked Tapas walking tour and all three bars were less than four minutes away. The Cathedral was about ten minutes away, the Caleta beach about four minutes away.
We highly recommend this hotel due its location and cleanliness.

Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. when we arrived to check in we were very early, but it was not a problem, we were given instructions and keys for the garage to park, then we went out for a walk around, armed with a map from the front desk, about lunchtime we received a phone call to say our room was now ready. We had a great time in Cadiz, and would definately stay there again.

Great value well equipped Studio room in the best location in Cadiz. There was a slight drain odour in the common of our block but not noticable in the room. The only slight issue for my wife was the comings and goings noise at night, this could be alleviated a little by draft proofing the entry door. Key collection and parking was OK for us on a quiet Sunday afternoon but a busy daytime could be an issue, a c vehicle 'pull in' would be useful.

Walking distance to everywhere, only 5 mins from the market which is open late at night for food and drinks, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and 5mi. Walk from the beach. Added bonus of a reception so we could leave the bags after checkout and they rang us a taxi that arrived in 2 mins. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cadiz

There are AC thermostats in each unit but temperature is controlled.
If you going in summer, you are in trouble.
They told me, every two hours the AC turns off. Not true. Every 5 minutes the AC unit stop running.
I was very disappointed because I try to always make sure to select a hotel which specifies they have a/c in each room one can control like this one did..I like to sleep in cold a/c. Although the Apartment was very nice and is in a great location,
I won’t come back again. Their staff were kind to refund us the 2nd night which we did not stay due to this a/c issue. Staff had no problem with our refund request.
