We loved the resort, rooms were nice, beds comfortable. We loved all of the spots around the property to sit at in the sun and in the shade. Sunsets were beautiful! Pool was wonderful, we spent a couple of days enjoying it! Resort was decorated so cute - lots of flowers and cute items on the walls! Potted plants on top of the a/c units on the outside - nice touch! We would definitely stay again!

The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating. This is an old resort that has been maintained for many years. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place this is it. It’s a mile or so away from the beach. A bus runs past the resort every half an hour dropping off at the beach. There is a lot of construction going on at the beach as the town is still recovering from the hurricane. Overall the resort is clean and functional but it’s more like an old fashion motel.

Had a blast there! Traveled with a 13 year old boy and there was a lot for him to do and stay busy. The location was great. Rooms are basic and have a small kitchen and big fridge. The pool area is nice and the pool is heated. Brunch was basic but perfect way to start the day there. Room was clean and safe area. We loved having bikes and we used them a lot but they need a bit of love. We totally would stay here again. Also the staff was accommodating and friendly especially the front best guy. Thanks!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Location is close to beach, supermarkets, and bus stop for beach shuttle is out front. Rooms are clean but showing signs of wear. What would be expected from a motel. The pool area is nice and clean. Breakfast was quite light - little protein options. Coffee quality could be improved. Overall we would stay again.

The staff are nice, the room is spacious, the location is off the beaten path on a quiet water front. The room is refurbished and looks cute. There is also a nice garden on the back.

However, the hotel is marketed as \"3-stars boutique resort\", and we paid over $278 per night. It should really be called \"a high-end motel\".
The air conditioner is very old, it makes very loud noise and it's hard to sleep when the machine is on. The breakfast is packaged bagels, sweet cakes, and instant oatmeal. I am ok with all these but I just wish I had known this ahead of time and paid a more reasonable fee for my stay.
I rarely post low rating and the reason for 3 star was the incorrect marketing.

Where to start...the water tasted like mildew and the vending wouldn't take my card so I couldn't even buy bottled water to drink. I stayed there during the cold snap and the door had visible daylight shining through which meant that the wind came howling in and my room was cold. I had the small room AC/heat blowing most of the time but it was still cold. I could hear the major road next to the motel loud and clear. Breakfast is served outside which meant that you had to take the food back to your room to eat since it was so cold. Decent selection of food, but the coffee was terrible. The location seemed good if you were going to the beach, both Sanibel and Ft Myers Beach. Otherwise you were kinda in the middle of nowhere except a marina. Maybe it was just because it was so cold, but I can't recommend.

Biggest problem was noise - the window unit is so loud it literally sounds like aircraft engines revving up, the walls are so thin we could hear literally every single word of our neighbors conversations, we could literally hear the crunching of their chips as they ate, (so seriously & literally) & yes all of the family with the 3 kids, The kids playing & jumping on the beds was so loud it gave me a headache.
They didn’t quiet down until a little after 2am , and there was no one in the front office to help, It was closed. You can hear every single car during morning traffic, and the rooms are maybe 5ft from the parked cars in the parking lot which means you can hear everything outside. And let’s talk about the shower head being 7ft up the wall & the shower curtain being so ill fitted & so long that it lines the bottom of the tub as you shower. There are gaping holes between the front door & the door frame. There are no dressers or drawers in the room just hollow plastic tube & cloth open cubbies BUT if you put anything in them the thing leans & starts to come apart-doesn’t seem to be handle anything but cotton balls. Bathroom is teeny with very little room for things like toothbrushes or toothpaste .
I asked to at least change rooms because of the noise that prevented me & my son from sleeping - nothing was available. My son & I spent our entire trip exhausted from lack of sleep.

Loved the amenities available to keep my family busy, and the location is about as good as it gets without having to pay the higher prices to stay right on the beach. We also appreciated the breakfast, comfortable furniture, pool temp, and size of the room. The fixtures in the room need to be mounted better (the towel hooks kept falling down, and the kitchen shelf fell in the middle of the night), but that would not keep me from coming again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Very convenient location to Sanibel island. This is something I like the most about this place.
Room is clean. However the mattress was outdated, hard, and uncomfortable. Breakfast had very limited options. I would expect better service if I am paying 140 dollars a night.

If I’d just passed by this place, I wouldn’t have even thought to stop and inquire, as the curb appeal isn’t the most appealing…clean, but an older property with a few boat slips at the end of a canal. But once inside and after exploring the rest of the property, I could tell a great effort has been put into making this a superb lodging option for this area. The courtyard is perfect for relaxing or socializing in what feels like a lush tropical jungle, with sitting areas, a bar area where breakfast is served and which guests can utilize.( not an operating bar, just a unique but fitting structure). There is also a small, but very well appointed and inviting pool area.There is a small marina at the back of the property, and they have bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing gear for guests of the resort to use in a FCFS basis. Very convenient location but also quiet. Very convenient contact-less check-in. The front desk was very friendly and informative as well. Ample parking with easy access. This will definitely be my go-to property for when I am in this area.

We stayed in the \"condo like\" room by the pool. It had a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The furniture was very comfortable, and the room was clean. It was a little warm when we arrived, but cooled off quickly. There is an ac unit in the bedroom as well as the living area. There was a dehumidifier provided that kept the room extra comfortable. We opted to not have room service during our four day stay, so we had the empty the dehumidifier ourselves. There was never too much noise in the pool. Keep in mind that this is an older building, but has been remodeled. However it was clean, comfortable and has alot of cute character. We would definitely stay again. All of the potted plants, flowers, and geckos in the court yard were beautiful and truly added to the enjoyment of this location.
