Exterior did not look like the pictures on website. Did not see any sky views. The guy who met us and checked us in was very helpful. Big plus. The airport transport was around 10 minutes drive and cost a whopping 40 EUR. Was ok for a quick 12 hour stay.

A great apartment with a kitchen/living area as well as bedroom. Very comfortable. Make sure to arrange check-in since there is no one around after-hours (but available by phone (WhatsApp). Don't expect daily housekeeping service - we were there a week and they came in one day in the middle to change sheets. And there is a great kitchen, but not a great selection of pans (and no oven racks). We cooked one seafood meal and it was \"challenging\" but delicious.

The property is in a great location, handy for train and airport links but near to the historic centre of Naples. We walked everywhere from there.
It is in a residential street so you are in the middle of the local Napolitans, with their washing out on the balconies and scooter mayhem down below. A real experience.
Only thing we hadn't fully appreciated is that reception is only manned during office hours so it is important to communicate bu WhatsApp with the manager before you arrive but it didnt give us any issues.
There are lots of mini marts down Via Carbonara and a great trattoria/pizzeria a short walk away.

Room was adequate. Washing machine didn't work, and they couldn't get it to work either - I suspect the under-sink wiring was connected to the adjacent suite. Swing-open panel in the bedroom uncovered another panel to an adjacent suite that was caulked closed - not trimmed/nailed/covered, just caulked. Shower is not tall enough for a tall male traveler - a prebuilt module stacked on the floor with my head on the ceiling and not enough room to squat inside to get my head under the water. Finally, we had a 6am flight and had arranged with hotel management to have a taxi pick us up at 330am. No taxi. Called the management number and they said they could not get ahold of our guy. Got another taxi instead but arrived to the airport 30 minutes later than desired - stressful event on an international flight.

It was a great spot to reach all the close historical attractions for Napoli. On the other hand, access is restricted without a 24hr desk in a not so safe narrow street. Apartment was decent but many of the pictures are old and showing pristine new condition. In reality, shower was dirty and door was broken, dining chairs had seats that detach, tv mounts hanging low cause bracket was failing, I could go on…

The apartment is nice and clean. The location is good (walkable and not far from public transportation. Above all, the management and staff are always ready to answer my call.
I arrived earlier than the check in time, Sandri waited for me and checked me in as soon as I arrived in the morning. The next day due to the hot weather the electricity of the area was interrupted and I was not able to get into the apartment. Enri came to open the door for me as soon as possible and left his flash light for me. The last day when i checked out and waited for the driver to take me to the airport, I realized that I left the most important thing in the apartment (my purse with my passport!). Again, Enri sent someone who lives close by the apartment and came to my rescue. I got my passport and got to the aiarport in time. Thanks a million! Sorry for my silly mistake.

Amazing owner, very kind, communicative, and accommodating. Our apartment had a direct view of Mount Vesuvius, absolutely beautiful. Huge apartment, with a washer as well. Beautiful apartment, absolutely perfect, and comfortable bed. Easy parking behind the building for 20 euro a day. Being a Platinum Expedia member, the room came with a bottle of sparkling wine that was delivered to our room while we were out. It was a wonderful way to end the evening. Would definitely come back!

We booked 2 rooms for one night. The manager could not get the key cards to work and was smoking the entire time in the lobby while we were waiting. Once we got into the rooms we discovered that one of the rooms did not lock so we had to cram into the one room. In that room the windows did not close properly so the noise from outside was unbearable.

Flew into Naples and took the Alibus to the train station ($5). Then walked 15 minutes to the apartment hotel. This place was a big surprise! Full kitchen and the city view was fantastic. There was a mini market about 1/2 block away and a grocery store (Deco) about 4 minute walk. There was also a metro train station about 5 minute walk which connected to the main train station. Everything was convenient and the location is kinda in the middle of everything. Pay attention to the email you receive. The property manager was kind and communication via WhatsApp was prompt. We went on ventures each day and got back late each night. The building is very secure. We walked a lot but had the option to take the train since it was so close. We ventured all around and enjoyed walking through the city visiting sites and neighborhood Piazza’s. Restaurants, shopping, gelato, sites, and The hop on hop off bus stops all close by. Good time.

Do NOT attempt to walk to it from the train station, despite the claims you can. The area outside the station is rough to say the least. It is more like an apartment and the gentleman who runs it is quite fair and helpful. It had good amenities inside and was very spacious for the price.

View from the terrace has a beautiful mountain view and is great for watching the hustle and bustle of the street below. Easy walk to the train station, lots of stores and restaurants close by. Easy downhill walk to the Archaeology museum. Staff were easy to get a hold of, and the suite itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are staying in Naples.

Good location. 10 minutes walk to metro station. Short walk to Via Tribunali for pizza, dining etc. There is no lobby, it is a building with next door office. Check in was easy, they contacted us before & we let them know what time we are expecting to be there. Going into the building is a process but it seems it is the same in the surrounding area. It is just hard for older people manuevering through the small door. We felt safe in the area. We were out till midnight every night. Appartment is in good condition but shower is terrible. It is one of those ready boxed showers. It is very hard to get in as one side of the door is blocked with the wall. It is very narrow too. Impossible with kids or normal size person. I am skinny & it is still was uncomfortable. Oultets does not work if the key is not in the room. You can't charge anything if you are not in the room. Comfortable bed in the bedroom but terrible sofa bed in the kitchen. Felt like you are sleeping without matress & very squicky. Overall it is overpriced. Not worth what we paid.

I was robbed of my iPhone right in front of the hotel. The street is very dark at night, and the reception keeps its shutters closed at all times. It’s impossible to check in without calling them to find the correct door, leaving a visitor exposed to a snatch and grab. The two thieves on a motorcycle had clearly been following me. The entire neighborhood is dirty and unsafe.

It was my first time visiting Naples, and I mostly used it as a base camp to explore other areas. The property is at a great location to access local restaurants. It was also a perfect distance to walk to the bus/train terminal. The apartment was spotless and the host was very helpful and communicative. The surrounding area feels a bit historical and not modernized whatsoever. There’s some charm to that. We walked everywhere during our stay and never felt unsafe at all. There’s also additional security measures on the building, which is always appreciated as a traveler.

The communication prior to arrival was good. We mapped the address but had a hard time finding the number so the attendant on call came to find us and led us to the office for check in. The office smelled of marijuana but the attendant was very nice and helpful. He initially gave us a key to the wrong room that had another guest in it so we tried the second room number he gave us and there was a guest in there as well. It was concerning that the key worked in two occupied rooms. He finally got us to the correct room and sent me a list of recommended places to eat and see. The room wasn’t too bad but the floors were dirty, the bedroom window didn’t seal all the way, the shower was tiny with about a foot opening to get in and out of, the couch was damaged on one end and the gas stove wasn’t working. The next morning I notified the office about the gas stove, it was around 9:30 and I wanted to boil water for coffee. Two men showed up, leaned out the window and turned the valve to open the gas. In my opinion, those things should’ve been taken care of prior to check in. Shortly after they left I sent a reminder to schedule the airport shuttle which the first attendant told me about at check in. I mentioned in my request that I would be paying with a credit card, they responded 3 hours later with “cash only”. Since I didn’t have Euros I asked them if they could call a taxi. Needless to say, Fransisco was rude and told me he wasn’t in the service business?!?!

My initial review was deleted. This property is in a convenient/central area but noisy and not very safe. The apartment is renovated and modern. Multiple safety steps to get in (which tell you a lot about the area). The advertising of this hotel is very misleading since the description says “aparthotel with rooftop” but you won’t have access to that rooftop unless you stay in that specific room. I booked for the views of Mt Vesuvius shown in photos which I didn’t have access to. There is lots of better and cheaper options in the center and near the coast. Also, when I went back to the apt after a day out, I notice additional toilet paper that I didn’t requested/needed (housekeeping wasn’t announced either and nothing else was done in the apt), after that I felt unsafe since I figured anybody was able to enter at anytime. The apt cannot be locked from the inside which added to the concern. A blood stain was found on the bed sheet.

Location is good and apartment is modern; however, the area around isn’t the best. The Expedia description says “Aparthotel featuring a rooftop terrace” which is very misleading since it is NOT open to all the guests (you have to book that room). There’s cheaper hotels in the area and near the coast but I exclusively booked this one because of the rooftop and the views of Mt Vesuvius showed in the photos, which i wasn’t authorized to enjoy. On my first day, when I came back, I noticed a toilet paper roll in the bathroom counter that I didn’t requested, meaning that someone entered the apartment (there wasn’t announcements of housekeeping and nothing else was done in the apartment, which was weird). The apartment don’t have locks from the inside so I was scared the rest of my stay that someone could enter at any moment, as I was traveling solo. The bed had a blood stain.

The property was a good value for the price and very clean inside. The apartment was spacious and had a kitchenette with a gas cooktop, oven and a washer. (Would have liked even a basic microwave for rewarming coffee and takeaway food. Had a drying rack instead of a dryer but takes 24 hours to dry Levi’s.)

The poor condition of the area around the property wasn’t the owner’s responsibility and Naples struggles with housing so many residents and tourists but hopefully gets better in time.
Alessio was easily reached and available, and very helpful at check in with local recommendations.

The apartment was clean and spacious and the staff we met were very nice. There was not an actual coffee maker which was a downfall. No blanket on the pull out couch bed,asked for one the first day but the manager could not understand why one was needed, asked again 2nd day and got one. The oddest thing was that we each were only given one bath towel, one hand towel and a towel slightly larger than a hand towel and were told that we would not receive any more towels during our 4 night stay unless we paid $12.00 per set??? There are no perks to staying here.

The apartment was clean and spacious, is in a good location, 30 minute walk to the port, 15 minute walk to all the vibrant back streets. There’s a well stocked grocery store around the corner. I know that they expect us to relax and not clean up but I think some basic cleaning equipment and toilet brush would be a good idea.

Check in was easy and very informative. The apartment had everything , just like in the pictures. Balconies are not balconies to sit on , but we didn’t use them anyway. We only used the apartment for sleeping because we had tours everyday to the famous islands . Ferry station is about 30 min walk , we took a cab. Train station is about 10-15 walk , it’s doable without luggages. Overall we were satisfied with the property and staff, we weren’t happy with Naples in general.

Big clean apartment. It does have an elevator. Super friendly staff. Shower is the downfall. Every unit has the same detached shower pod. Anyone over 6 feet tall or bigger then a 46w will find this very discomforting to use and get in and out from. Also, the clothes washing machine did not work for us but there is a laundromat literally within walking distance.

We had a fantastic stay here! The apartment was huge and our room had a nice view of Vesuvius and the city. By far, the staff were the best part of our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and get settled in, accommodated our needs, which included a crib, and a very late checkin with not a lot of notice due to flight delays. They were always very quick to respond to our messages. They were so kind to us and friendly, very chill vibe like they know you forever like old friends, and super helpful arranging a taxi to the amalfi coast at the last minute. As well as holding our luggage after checkout and giving restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Appears to be very modern and nice, with updates throughout but a/c vents left us working th baggy eyes each morning from dust - we had stayed in 7 different hotels in two weeks, Ann’s this happened only here, and shower door opening is only wide enough for medium build. My alum daughter had to enter sideways, I barely squeezed in sideways. A large man would not be able to get in. Area is a busy street with narrow sidewalks near the location. No housekeeping so max 2 nights would be recommended.

Ah Naples, and 49 is convenient to the superb archeological museum, the central rail station, and on a quiet non touristy street, but close to the pulse of the city. 49 is roomy and well appointed, but no microwave? Traffic was stereotypically Italian with more vehicle horns in any 2 minutes than most anywhere in US in a month and watch where you walk. The motor scooters are everywhere ,including the sidewalks on occasion. Naples, the perfect pandemic remedy.

The apartment was ok, Modern but felt very plan, the bathroom was a bit small for the apartment size shower felt like it was a afterthought. Didn’t feel relax the whole stay but that was more about Naploli being less of a tourist city and more of a layover for the surrounding towns. If you have kids would not recommend the area.

I was met by Francisco who was in great communications with me for my arrival. He was fabulous! The apartment was spacious, very clean and the internet was top notch. The location was fantastic and I always felt very safe based on how secure the building is and that there is always someone on watch, even throughout the night.

I stayed for 2 weeks and found it was perfect for that length of time. Overall and fabulous stay.

Good location, modern units however lacked the basics in the kitchen although cooker fridge etc was fine. Bathroom very small, complimentary bottle of wine was for cooking only, no label on it, (owner must know cost of everything but value of nothing )

It was advertised as being more convenient to the airport and it’s a long way from airport. The hotel driver overcharged us 10 euros and we were not reimbursed. We paid 50 euros getting to and from airport. The photo suggests it has a pleasant view but it’s on a grimy narrow street.

A beautiful modern, well appointed apartment in a great location. I think a toaster & microwave would be a great addition in the kitchen. Fabiana & Francesco were great hosts, who were very welcoming & very helpful. Would highly recommend & would certainly return to these apartments.

We really enjoyed having an entire apartment in Naples. It is more like an apartment building than a hotel - no room service or so. But great to have a living room, a kitchen with coffee maker and fridge, and a large bedroom. Lovely, modern bathroom. Neighbourhood is busy and noisy but in the apartment it is very quiet. You can walk to bakery, little restaurants, etc. and also walk to the main train station. We visited Pompei in a day from here. If I had to go back to Naples. I would stay here again. Lovely managers!

We loved our stay and the suite was immaculate, spacious, and private. Very quiet even on the second floor with double glazed window and shutters, it kept out all street noises. I can find no flaws, it's an excellent place to stay and I'd stay there again in Naples. Fabiana was great to deal with from even before we came-- she answered all questions before we checked in, fully and promptly, she also had our luggage brought to our room after because we arrived early and wanted to go to a museum, she gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and called us a cab to the train station on our last day . She was extremely cheerful, helpful, polite, and accommodating. The place was so comfortable, with central air conditioning and climate control,very big rooms, full size fridge, good working kitchen, and the building entrance affords a lot of privacy-- your get your own key card that lets you into the building through a separate entrance, and the card also calls the elevator and opens your room up. It is like an apartment but with a hotel concierge,so you have the best of both worlds. It is perfectly located for museum going,very walkable to the Archaeology museum,and Piazza Cavour, accessible for public transport and a taxi rank is right up the block, a supermarket is around the corner. It satisfied everything we needed, and we were veey comfortable in our 5 day stay in Naples.

A very lovely place, I highly recommend. We stayed for 5 days in Naples, to go to museums and tour Pompeii and surroundings. The location was superb for us to go to the Archaeological museum just up the street, and easy with a supermarket around the corner, also near a big central piazza and thoroughfare, perfectly located to get taxis or a delicious pizza. We felt very at home, it's very comfortable-- plenty of dishes, a good working gas stove, large fridge, and the place was immaculate. The most appreciated things about it? It is extremely quiet, even on the second floor, because all windows have thick shutters, and are double glazed, that block out street noises, and it great climate control, central a.c. with thermostat you can control yourself. It is very private, we had plenty of space, and were very happy and comfortable in our little apartment. A lot of closet space, like a deluxe hotel suite with a kitchen. Fabiana was terrific-- i corresponded with her before arriving about concerns I had and she answered very quickly and fully, and she is a great help when you are there, including calling us a cab for our departure and making a wonderful restaurant recommendation. If i were to come back to Naples, I'd definitely stay here again.

Communication prior to our arrival was excellent and the welcome we received from our hosts at the property was exactly what you needed after a long flight.This property is modern, super clean and very secure. The terrace provides absolutely stunning views of sunrises over mount Vesuvius and is a sun trap through the day and is also a great way of watching daily life in the city of Naples. Would I stop here again? The answer is that I wouldn’t consider stopping any where else.

The service from the manager was excellent. The apartments were perfectly clean and comfortable. The property was difficult to find through GPS but the manager cared for contacting me and finding out if I was all right. I definitely recommend this hotel to stay in Napoli.

It is important to communicate with Expedia members that Palzzo Settembrini is NOT a hotel. It is a collection of apartments and there are no services available that we associate with hotels like cleaning, replacement of soap, toilet paper and towels, etc. They provide is a basic, clean apartment and nothing more. On the positive side, while I was disappointed that no hotel-type amenities were available, it di allow me to live in a working class Neapolitan neighborhood and get a fee for how Neapolitans really live.
