This is one of our favorite hotels in Greece. Very well-located, beautiful, clean, excellent common areas and helpful staff. They also have a shuttle bus service from the port, which makes it very easy. The only small area for improvement is that their beds are quite uncomfortable. Other that that, it was a great experience. We would definitely go back.

The customer pre correspondence was good in booking the transfer trip to The Far Out Village.
The pick up driver was amazing and customer relations very hospitable.
The village is astoundingly beautiful from the beach lounge water sport offering by the Aussie team and the pool bar area beautiful, however the downside was the rest of the hospitality team apart from the house maid who had her birthday on the same day as myself hence why I chose this site to celebrate my birthday.
The lack of respectful customer service from the reception staff with booking my transfer out of the village was nothing short of care factor of zero not accommodating what so ever after my ferry service delayed the departure time of almost 2 hours I advised reception of the delay
Word for word this is what I was told “ and what do you want” your transfer time stands at 10.30am as “ their is NO other transfers available “ BLANTANT lie as at 12.00 pm I saw the village transfer driving collecting new guests from the arriving ferry.
This I find to be poor customer relations a disgraceful un accommodating to your holiday guests.
The service staff need to review the word service and hospitality.
From the beach cabana staff who are more consumed with how they look and making friends than serving drinks having to go get my own drinks and when you did manage to get their attention to order your drinks don’t arrive.
The bar service is the same I asked at the bar if I could order a drink and food.

This place was amazing!! I went with my boyfriend and I think for what you’re paying it’s perfect- the bed isn’t the comfiest but I promise it’s not too bad and the facilities make up for it. Only problem was the shower would constantly overflow our room bc the water would come out of the drain. But what can u really expect with the plumbing in Greece. The beach club was so fun- we went during the closing party and loveddd it. The restaurant was pretty good but I’d recommend sticking with the pizza and acai bowls those were sooo good. Location wise it was perfect, right by the beach and all the water sports and only takes like 10-15 min to get to town if you take an atv or the bus which stops right outside the hotel. We went out late most of the time we were here and getting back by cab was always so easy and quick. If I come back to ios I will definitely stay here again

Shower doesn’t regulate warm to cold water and super low to almost non existing water pressure, leaving an already nasty feeling of bathroom, doesn’t leave you feeling fresh and clean.
beds hard and uncomfortable, only one pillow each!
Breakfast included contained of bare minimum

Plage extraordinaire!

Hôtel et chambre vraiment bien situé dans un petit complexe avec piscine et resto. On n’a qu’à traverser une petite rue pour avoir les pieds dans le sable et la plage est magnifique!!! Il y a un coût raisonnable pour avoir accès aux chaises de plage et on y offre un excellent service.
Par contre, les chambres auraient besoin d’être rafraîchies. Les matelas sont de base et la douche a encore un rideau!
Les balcons (2e étage) sont vraiment bien pour les petits 5 à 7! Demander une chambre au 2e étages!
Malgré les chambres, on a adoré notre séjour à ce complexe et surtout, avons adoré Ios!!!! J’y retournerais!

They mention pool in description but once u're there they want to charge for pool. You can't stay for free. Neither at night.
Food was okay less the average limited choice.

The spot is right in front of a beach, so it is very conveniently placed, with a rental place right next to it. Have access to two hotel facilities which was a nice surprise. Rooms are a little small but for the price you cannot complain. Great choice for the price.

I think this is an amazing place. I love the little cabins and the beach is across the road. It’s not a five star hotel but it gets five stars from me for location, food, and general ambience. Great staff too. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Good value for money

Really nice rooms and lovely pool and beach area particularly for the money. It is a bit of a haven for party go-ers however they all go off into town at 9-10pm. It would likely be loud here from June - August though as next door is Far Out beach club. Lovely stay in off season though

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed that the beach is close by and that we could use the sun-beds with no extra charge.

On the downside the hotel for sure is not a 4*, the rooms are not very big and decorations are very old school.

The rooms were very basic which is to be expected for the price you are paying. However, the facilities and location were outstanding. You are right on the beach, the pool itself is also very nice and the music playing was a lovely touch.

Breakfast was great, the staff were really nice, the food and drinks we ordered were also very good. The beach here had soft sparkly sand and the water was delightful.

There is a bus stop right outside which will take you directly to the town.

They offered a transfer to and from the port, it is chargeable but well worth the money if you are travelling in at night like we did. Our driver Stefan was awesome and made us laugh the whole way there.

Wish we had stayed here longer, will definitely be back.

Proximity to the beach was great. Most staff were very hospitable. Apartment was very private. However, it was incredibly basic for somewhere rated 4 stars. And they don’t provide towels for the beach which is odd considering how close it is to the beach

This is a party hotel for a very young crowd. The location is good, but the constant loud music from the Far Out Beach Club was not my style. Rooms are small, but very clean. Bathroom is also tiny. Amenities are bare minimum- soap, shower gel, and shampoo. No beach towel is provided, but if you ask nicely, you can use your bath towel and they will give you a clean one to shower with. Loved that they replace the towels and sheets daily. Odd thing is that they asked you to leave your room key with the Front Deak when you left your room, which I never did. I think they ask you to do this as the people who stay here are generally very young and may lose their key when they go out. Free parking, but it is a small lot. Breakfast is ok- nothing fancy. Expect cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, bread, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Definitely not a “four star” hotel. I think Expedia needs to review their standards to understand what a four star hotel actually is.

I liked the location the most. Right across the road from the beach, short bus ride straight into town, next door to the beach club. Hotel restaurant is also the highlight, food is so good, the paid food I mean. The room was good size for 3 girls and clean and decent, it’s a party place so noise was to be exected but not too loud... not a 5 star resort but good for party and young people. My main concern is always the cleanliness and it was clean, so couldn’t ask for more. I always get so scared after reading bad reviews but I would definitely stay again

This hotel looked great online when I was researching hotels on the island of Ios. It had good reviews and a 4.4 star rating. It was a completely different story when we arrived. The rooms were such a disappointment. The floors had food stains on them and the bathroom had the tiniest shower. The worst were the beds. They were so hard, it was like sleeping on rocks, not to mention the bed sheets, which were so scratchy, like sandpaper. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Far Out Village

The FarOut Village is located in front of Mylopotas beach. The bungalows are simple but clean and set in a shady garden. Each bungalow has a small terrace in front of it. Nice pool and pool bar with great food. Guests are mostly young people and there is a nice party atmosphere around the hotel.

Lively, fun hotel very close to beach

Far out village hotel is next door to far out beach club where the camping is located. You have access to both pools, the hotel one being quieter than the beach club (which is good if you want to join the pool party!). Far out is across the road from the beach but around a 10 minute bus journey from the centre - these buses run every 15 minutes from outside the hotel until around 12am. Would definitely recommend for nice rooms and pool but not in the centre!

Staff were helpful, great location if you are wanting to party. Bus service right in front of the hotel, room was somewhat spacious but the balcony was bigger in comparison. Cleanliness was ok, glad we stayed for 2 nights. I would recommend to friends if they have quads otherwise I would suggest to stay in town as it's more central to other clubs, bars, shopping and restaurants.
