This family-run hotel, nestled in the outskirts of the town, enjoys a peaceful and calm location approximately 2 km from Ios centre and very close to the port, which is no more than 250 metres away. Yialos beach can be reached within a 20 minute walk, although guests have the option to take the public bus service.
With a stay at Olga's Fancy in St. Thomas, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Bolongo Bay and Emancipation Garden.

I know they mentioned about the stairs but we just didn’t picture taking our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. When we got there we had no water (not their fault, a water line had broken) they did what they could for us and gave us bottled water for teeth brushing and drinking.

Olga’s fancy is a great place to stay, particularly given its price point. The room was large and very clean, we were upgraded to an ocean view with a balcony, which was so nice! It is very eclectic and unique and it has a really perfect location for staying in St. Thomas. The owners were very nice and responsive. I highly recommend!

The property itself was perfect for what we were looking for. However, when we arrived we were told that there was a problem, as a water pipe was hit or broken (out of their control, which we agreed). We then got a message saying that it was slowly coming back on about 2 hours later. Unfortunately we were in a higher room so the pressure never got to us. We were without water for our entire stay. We were left buckets by the pool so that we could get pool water to flush the toilet. We were aware that it was out of their control - having said that it would have been a nice gesture for the staff to at least help take a bucket or two up all the stairs for us as it was a struggle

My husband and I stayed for one night at Olga's Fancy to be close to the airport after being in St John for a week. This property was absolutely adorable, and we wish we had been there longer to use the pool. The room was unique and Eddie the owner was very helpful telling us nearby restaurants and getting a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. We would definitely come back.

Clean room but could use updates. Great area very walkable. Loved the restaurant Oceana ..right next door. Great water view. Close to airport so you will hear planes during the day. Fun to watch the water plane take off and land …and the cruise ships come and go. Good food close by for breakfast and lunch that you can bring back and eat on the covered porch. Their landscaping on the property was fabulous and the pool was refreshing.

We stayed here for several nights. It's a beautiful location and the view out of room was gorgeous! The only caution is the number of steps to get to your room, unless you have one of those along the shore. I didn't realize that when I booked the hotel - I chose this for the most reasonable price for a room with a view! A few days before our stay, the hotel sent me an email notifying me of the steps and that no porter help is available. Their advice was good and much appreciated. Had I been notified when booking, I think I would have stayed with my choice - earlier notification would be better though. My husband and I are in our 70's so had to take the steps slow and plan our ascent/descent! There are several along the way, so we rested often. I would stay here again - the location is great, so close to Frenchtown - walking distance to several restaurants and bars! Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Olga’s Fancy was charming, clean, beautiful, and had such friendly staff. Loved staying at a family run hotel, where they take such pride in their slice of paradise. This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Hope to come back one day.

There was a fridge in the room but no microwave or coffee pot. Still had everything we needed to be self sufficient. We stayed for 2 weeks and would definitely stay there again.

This small hotel was a gem!!! From the moment we arrived, we felt the welcoming and relaxed environment. Candy (and sweet Buddy the cat) got us all checked in. Our room was spotless, had a very islandy vibe and the BEST view. The morning coffee was a nice bonus as we started each day. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the local deli/coffee shop for breakfast and The Frenchtown Bistro and Oceana for dinner. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Loved the Twisted Cork, Pie Whole, and the Frenchtown Deli (deli had bevs and snacks you could take back with you - sandwiches were big enough to split and very reasonably priced). Enjoyed pool days, island tour with Ricky, and complimentary coffee in the mornings. The creamer was delicious. ;) Very relaxing time!
