We really enjoyed our stay. The room is small but totally fine for a couple. Price was great and the location was perfect.

Drakos Twons is conveniently located by Mylopotas Beach. While you shouldn't expect a luxury stay, it is great value, and the room is adequately ewiipped with all thee essentials. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would definitely reccomend staying here.

I booked this property on sale and i was disappointed with the size of the room. The picture on the website showed 2 single beds and we got one double bed. They were quick to add a bunk bed which left no space to move around. We had to close all lugagges everytime to go to the bathroom.

Yes, you can hear the kitchen next door when the windows are open but with the windows closed, not a sound.

Amazing location just off the best beach in Ios. Literally a 30 second walk to the beautiful water. Right next door is the best value and best tasting resturant on the island. The owner was super friendly as well. He owns a little mini-mart where you can buy your essentials and alcohol :)

Owners were nice, hotel was cute and clean. Great view of the beach and only 10 steps from the sand. Perfect location!!!
Only thing was they had the worst WiFi of all the places we stayed in Greece. We had to use the restaurants WiFi. For that reason we would book a different spot next time but we would for sure stay at that location again. That beach was incredible!

Nice hotel close to the beach
I first visited Ios 50 years ago when this hotel (or its forerunner) was pretty much the only building on Milopotas, and the beach was equally empty - now, although the beach is overrun with hotels, sun loungers and watersports, the Drakos family still remain, old-school Cyclades style and hospitality and friendliness, yet with the modern necessities, perfect for the simple holiday life.

Not what we expected
We were really disappointed by the quality of this hotel, it wasn't what we were expecting.
The family who runs this accommodation are so lovely - the operate a delicious restaurant and very convenient mini market.
But as for the rooms - it was tiny! We asked for a twin room, but got one double bed. Unfortunately the mattress was rock hard, and you could feel all the springs. It was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom only offered two small bars of hand soap and that was it. We had to ask for toilet paper, as our room was not equipped with it on our arrival.
Given how frequently we travel, we've encountered the best of the best hotels, and what we would consider to be below acceptable. The shower at this facility had a very old and mouldy shower curtain, that we left open whilst showering - as the idea of coming into contact with it was gut wrenching. Furthermore, there was no real 'shower head'. The hand held tap we used for showering was difficult, as the water pressure was that equivalent to that of a watering can. This was challenging given I've got thick, long hair.
I would not stay here in the future, nor would I recommend it to anyone- but I would certainly recommend the small cafe the family runs - the food is delicious, inexpensive and comes with a relaxing view of the beach.

Great location, simple but clean room
The room was simple but clean, we needed something close to the beach since we were staying only one night and we wanted to enjoy the beach as much as possible. The hotel is well located close to the bus station, a few steps to the beach and there's some restaurants and a supermarket in the area. Good quality/price ratio

Steps from the beach. Basic, but you get what you pay for. Had a fridge which was a bonus. Not a very good shower, but that didn't matter too much. Cleaner was lovely and always said hello.

A little more space would be nice. (Impossible now, of course) We spent our time exploring the Island, coming back only to shower and sleep at night. Tiny bathroom and tiny room made it very 'cosy'. We are not huge people, either. Staff were friendly, and amenable. Well priced room. Would recommend to a budget traveller.

No frills , great location
After initially not getting the room we booked, the next day we moved rooms and were very happy. We received a bottle of complimentary wine for the error which was unexpected and appreciated.
The only thing was in our room the shower drain overflowed up into the floor waste so the bathroom floor was underwater after a shower! Otherwise, surprisingly the room was relatively quiet for the area, although the owner of the restaurant next door likes to sing loud late at night and not very well.......

Nice hotel on the beach
We only stayed here 2 days 1 night. The location is great right on the beach and next to the steps you can take straight up into town. The room is a nice size. The wi-fi was spotty at times. The shower had very low pressure but did at least get hot. The beds were not comfortable. The owners were very nice.

Posizione ottima. La struttura è letteralmente difronte alla spiaggia di Mylopotas, ci sono molti ristoranti vicini e dista a cinque minuti in macchina da Chora (capoluogo dell’isola). Camere piccole ma accoglienti. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is almost by the beach, central and good connected. The stuff is friendly and made my room fast in order to check in.
It is pricy for what they offer though (almost 100 euros per night) and the amenities that the room has, which is actually nothing. I understand that Ios is a busy island on July though.

VFM... In the center of everything, had room on top floor, good view, quiet, cleam, pleasant owner and staff, the next to it restaurant ELPIS, quality food but small portions for price. Better places in village on top.

Underbart litet familjeägt hotell precis intill bästa delen av Mylopotas strand. Trevligt och hjälpsamt ägarpar liksom resten av familjen, som har Mylopotas absolut bästa och fräschaste frukost- och juicebar med goda smårätter. Liten varning dock för den som har svårt att gå i trappor. Våning två har bästa utsikten över stranden och havet, men det är tungt att gå när det är hett och man är trött i benen. George, ägaren som också har en minibutik i bottenplanet med det viktigaste, eller den superduktiga städerskan kan hjälpa till att bära upp det som är tungt. Om man ber om det.

Séjour de 5 nuits au lieu de 6 comme l'indique le site car aucun féry à Santorin après notre arrivée. Le gérant nous explique qu'il n'est pas au courant du problème alors qu'il a été prévenu au préalable. Sinon hôtel correct qui bénéficie d'une belle situation.

The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood very close to Mylopotas which is excellent. Rooms are small but do have AC and fridge, that's about it. Friendly staff who helped us with any questions we had.

Il personale è molto gentile, offrono il trasferimento dal e verso il porto gratutiamente (prenotandolo).
La camera era piuttosto piccola, ma se ci si sa adattare è sufficiente, il bagno purtroppo non era un granchè, ma la pulizia della camera di tutti i giorni era buona.
La balconata, dove ogni camera ha 2 sedie e un tavolino, è in comune con tutte le camere del piano.
