Check in was smooth, room very clean and well appointed. The location is about 20-25 min walk from Kyoto Station. We ended up taking the city bus for the most part to get around. Use Suica or IC card to tap off the bus. There's no tap on- just hop on and pay when you hop off. This location is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Hotel has 4 washer/dryer combo and none were available so we crossed the street and did laundry at the laundry mat. Explored the neighborhood for an hour and came back when laundry was done. I enjoyed the stay for the quietness but would prefer a hotel closer to the train station next time.

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. It was convenient to a bus line from which I could sightsee. It was close to Kyoto Bus Station from which I could catch trains that departed for other tourists spots. I loved the efficiency of the hotel in terms of being able to do my laundry and the hot soaking facilities. I also loved their breakfast offerings.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was very clean. You’re in walking distance to lots of restaurants and there’s a great ramen restaurant 2mins down the road!

Really happy that we chose this hotel. The location is great (near the Kyoto Station for Shinkansen and close to Gion), the facilities of the hotel are superb and the service here was fantastic. My daughter was sick with a high fever on the first day of our arrival and the front desk staff (Tanikaze-san) helped me call the nearby clinics one by one and eventually helped us with an appointment. Because of that my daughter got the antibiotics she needed and her fever stopped the next day. We were all very grateful for the additional help Tanikaze-san offered.

Facilities wise, we really love the big public bath facilities they offer. It's the best way to relax after a long day of tour.

We booked a double bed room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids). The room is slightly small for 4 people, but this is quite a typical set up for JP hotels until we book two rooms. So Overall, we still highly recommend this hotel!

OK but far from tourist attractions.

Hotel is ok but so far from anything if your there as a tourist. Room of course was small & not easy to find space for suitcases. Gave initial bottle of water but no more. Wouldn't stay again it's just too far from what we wanted

Good value hotel. Nice people, good facilities. Functional rooms, good beds. Pillows were hard though, and no choices. Ok location. Gym should be free though and the tv should be easier to use. The coffee machine at breakfast should be available and not covered up.

全てにおいて特に不満な点はなく、快適にすごすことができました。ありがとうございました。朝食も、品数も量も充分にあり、満足です。連休で忙しいということもあったと思いますが、朝食時レストランでこちらから挨拶をしても、挨拶がなく、まずは笑顔でおはようと、挨拶があれば気持ちよかったのになあと思いました。

駅から離れた立地はマイナスですが、総合的には十分満足です。
当初子供の朝食が含まれていないと言われましたが、状況説明すると柔軟に対応してくれました。その朝食ビュッフェも美味しかったです!

Very average hotel

Very average hotel a bit away from everything. We didn’t know we had breakfast with the room but turned out they could cater plantbased food quite okay (vegetables, silken tofu, rice, potatoes and some gnarly canned fruit). The staff wasn’t very welcoming though. And the hotel didn’t feel like much. But the room was spacious and comfortable.

Över förväntan!

Hotellet var helt klart över förväntan. Läget är toppen om man inte är rädd för att använda bussystemet i Kyoto. 4st huvudbusslinjer (citybuss) har stationer inom 50-300m avstånd och tar dig enkelt dit du vill i hela staden inom 5-30min

Vi stannade (familj om 4) i 10 dagar och kommer definitivt att använda detta hotell igen om vi åker tillbaka till Kyoto.

Sijainti ei ollut kovin hyvä, vieressä ei ole juuri ravintoloita eikä ruokakauppojakaan. Bussipysäkkejä löytyy parikin, mutta bussit olivat vaihtelevasti myöhässä. Onsenin vesi oli niin kuumaa, ettei siellä tehnyt mieli viettää aikaa. Samoin aamupala oli aika mitätön.

We had a pleasant stay at Urban Hotel Kyoto Gojo Premium! One of the highlights was a delicious ramen restaurant just steps away from the hotel — a great spot to end the day with a comforting meal.

The staff was very kind and attentive throughout our stay, and the breakfast buffet was tasty and well-prepared, with both Japanese and Western options.

The room itself was modern and clean, but it felt a bit tight for a couple traveling with two young children. While it worked for a short stay, it was a bit of a squeeze with luggage and baby gear.

The hotel is not far from central Kyoto, but if we were to stay in Kyoto again, we would likely look for a place closer to Kyoto Station to make transportation and sightseeing more convenient.

Still, a very solid option with great service and a good value!

Très bel hôtel

L'hôtel était très beau et très propre. Le personnel de l'accueil est gentil. Juste deux petits bémols : chambre beaucoup trop petite (impossible d'ouvrir les valises au sol) et aucun choix en petit déjeuner sucré. C'est difficile quand on ne peut manger qu'un petit croissant tous les matins. C'est un peu dommage.

フロントスタッフの方の感じが良かった。この価格で素敵な部屋と大浴場とWi-Fiと朝食もついててお土産も10％引きで買えてお得でした。朝食バイキングも食べきれないくらい種類もたくさんあり、ホットドリンクも何種類も試したいくらいあって良かった。

部屋は綺麗で価格帯も安く、大浴場朝食ブュッフェもあり十分だと思います。ただ部屋に備え付きの空気清浄機が臭い。とにかく臭い。起動させた途端、部屋中に洗濯物の生乾きのような匂いが充満しました。手入れ不足だと思います。それさえなければ最高のホテルでした。

ホテル内は清潔で、ホスピタリティは高いです。大浴場も快適でした。ベッドも問題なくよく寝られます。朝食ビュッフェにお茶漬けがあるのが良いですね。

立地は鉄道駅へはやや歩きますが、バスが近くに停まりますので不便は感じませんでした。

全体的には満足

どこも清潔で気持ちよく過ごせました。朝食もおいしかったです。個人的にひとつだけ残念だったのは大浴場の湯船の温度が高すぎたこと（41度以上はあるかと）です。楽しみにしていましたが長く浸かれず。日本育ちの方はともかくおそらく欧米の方にとっては熱すぎると思います。

全体的に古いです。
施設、部屋の間取りもサービスも昔のホテルです。ただ、セーフティボックスは欲しく、TVは使いやすく、充電ケーブルも欲しかったです。

前回の京都旅行も二条のアーバンホテルを利用して、息子が気に入ったので今回も同系列の五条のホテルを予約して宿泊しました。
まず、受付の方の対応が良く、気分良く部屋まで行くことができ部屋も広く清潔で素敵な旅行の1ページとなりました。
大浴場もとても良く息子がすごく気に入り何度も入浴を楽しんでいました。
また、京都に旅行に行く時はアーバンホテルを利用させてもらおうと思います！
