Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a get away in Ha Long bay. The whole experience from start to finish was super organized and theyve thought through everything to make the guests experience the best it could be. To start our server Sam was the most attentive and thoughtful server we could ask for. Always greeted us with a smile and over the 3 days remembered my wifes allergy and let her know what she could or could not eat. And the kitchen staff left it out of the cooked meals if it could be made without it. The food was also amazing, we were stuffed after each of the 5 course meals and wanted to eat more but had no room.
The activities were spread out and lots of fun. We did the 3D2N and had so much fun on our day trip to Catba island. They put us on a beautiful smaller boat with a rooftop to enjoy the sun. Then biking around the island and learning about the history. Even had a fish manicure. Then the kayaking around and being able to stop at a beach that me and my wife had to our selves is one of the top highlights from any trip we’ve ever been on.
Nothing beats waking up to the beautiful view and highly reccomend to anyone looking to visit and Mon Cheri is definetly a top pick for us. The perfect amount of relaxation and not having to worry about being on a party boat.

My wife and I stayed in the Elegance room for 2 nights. We were surprised to find that we had nearly a full quarter of the stern of the cruise boat on the first floor deck. The view from our room was exceptional to say the least. We also had a massage chair and a large jet bath with a huge bay view window located in a large bathroom. Cons tho, breakfast is at 6:30am everyday and set meals at night, tho delicious, were 5 courses and 7 if you also savoured the pre dinner snacks/fruits and samples from the food classes. Be prepared for some over indulging! The tour schedules are full on so be ready for a non-stop itinerary and just be amazed by the experience. A big shout out to our assistants Ms Jasmine and Ms Jessica who ensured our trip was most memorable!

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible experience aboard Mon Cheri! Our room had stunning views, the staff were unbelievably friendly and attentive, and every activity was perfectly organized from start to finish. We loved every second of our two-day cruise and genuinely wished it didn’t have to end. A special shoutout to Ben, who went above and beyond to oversee our dining experience and make sure our dietary restrictions were carefully accommodated - he was amazing. I was placed at very small patio table in the corner or off to the side of the buffet away from the views of the bay. This left me feeling like I wasn't as valued as the others on the boat. It made me feel more like an after thought. In the future I would suggest keeping this in mind for travelers traveling solo.

Our cruise had a number of kids on board. Therefore, the cooking demonstration and squid fishing were very kids oriented and we were unable to enjoy them. The cooking demonstration waa quite basic - it was just fresh spring rolls. Overall, we had a lot of idle time ... which some people may enjoy. We wished that there were some more activities for the cruise to be value of money e.g. more sight seeing or a more elaborate cooking class.

Everything was good, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities are amazing. Plus it is the only cruise in Halong Bay that served halal certified food which is a definitely a plus point for muslim travelers. Side note, they do served pork but as informed by one of the staff, they have two separate kitchen to prepare for the halal meal.They also offer a return shuttle from Hanoi Old Quarter to cruise terminal at 35USD per person. Overall it is highly recommended.

Mon Cheri provides top-notch service at every turn! The facilities, food and staff were all impressive. We took the luxury shuttle from Hanoi. It had reclining seats and excellent wifi. When we arrived in Ha Long we were ushered to a small waiting room with free bottled water and wifi. After just a short wait we were ushered to a small boat that took us to the larger cruise ship. The crew was waiting for us upon boarding with cool towels and fresh-brewed tea. We felt like royalty from that first moment until disembarking the following day!

We had a wonderful stay from the moment we were picked up from our hotel in Hanoi to when we were dropped off the following day. The staff were so nice and friendly, the food was great, the activities were fun and the beautiful cruise ship was so smooth. They also prepared a cake and special decorations for our second honeymoon. It was an unforgettable cruise!

Had an issue with cleanliness of the room, there was a residual smell of cigarette smoke, which I could smell because I have a pretty sensitive sense of smell, when I spoke to the manager, he said he couldn’t smell it whilst for me it was quite obvious.

However, in our rear suite the balcony was somewhat unusable due to diesel exhaust gases. The engine and / or generator was running 24/7 and one could smell that in the balcony. Also the engine noise in the rear is continuous and pretty loud.

We were supposed to be on Mon Cherie but they had over sold their cruise expecting the delivery of another boat. That was delayed so they moved us to another bigger boat. The whole thing felt sketchy. Turned out to be fine but the experience is not what we wanted.

The boat is new and very clean and pretty, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 4 meals overall and 3 were great, just one was so so, we went kayaking and into a cave. Overall a great experience.

This is a new boat and new company. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. With lots of room it never feels crowded. The staff is very good. Great food & service!! Always trying to please. It offers a great one day trip. We did a 2 day which gave more relax time in the beautiful surroundings. You also go biking, see a village and s fishing place on the 2 day. Our only complaint was the spa a poor pedicure - the girl seemed inexperienced but kind and my husband felt his massage was too rough. But that said we would highly recommend this boat and company. They also leave out of Hai Phong so less busy/ touristy with only a 2 hour drive from Hanoi - we then flew from Hai Phong airport to danang.

Best Hotel Experience Ever!!!!
Most amazing stay we ever had, and we travel very often, about once every two months. The trip did not start out too well when we booked this cruise for the wrong date and hotels.com tell me there was nothing they can do. I reached out to the cruise directly and Mr. Trung was able to move our date, not only that, he also upgraded us to the Presidental Suite because the Mon Cheri Suites were all booked. The room was huge and the massage chair was a plesant surprise. Hotel pick up from Hanoi in the luxury van was awsome. This was our first time in Ha Long but I don't think there is any other way to see Ha Long Bay. The tours activities and the food were good, could be improve but bot bad at all. Service and every single staff was great, I felt like they all love their job. We loved the cruise so much that my wife and daughter did not want to leave at check out. Every aspect of the cruise was planned out to perfection.

The rooms were excellent, amazing design and very comfortable. Only issue was with the plumbing our bathroom drain did not smell very nice.
The staff were very attentive and always happy to help. Food included was excellent! The activities were great they take you to much quieter caves etc away from the 100s of tourists you will see on most ha long bay tours. We did the 3 day 2 night and it was definitely worth the extra night!

The stay on Mon Cheri Cruise has been the best experience I had in Hanoi. The cruise is new, beautiful and comfortable and the services provided by the Crews are excellent. If you want to cruise Ha Long Bay, Mon Cheri is the cruise to choose from.

Vi havde et fantastisk mini cruise ombord på Mon Chéri - eneste ulempe var, at vi kun havde valgt et enkelt overnatning i stedet for to. Kahytten var så skøn med store vinduer og altandør direkte ud til vandet, og badeværelset var lækkert med en kæmpe brusekabine.
Personalet ombord var ekstremt venlige.
Både kajakturen og grotteturen var rigtig gode.
Derudover så vi både den smukkeste solnedgang og solopgang, mens vi sejlede igennem det flotte Halong Bay.
