Hotel is kind of old, and i felt charges were on the higher side, that apparently usually is the case during exhibition time in Dubai. Bus is conveniently available every few mins and you can go to the metro for greater mobility. Area is safe and reasonable clean.

The staff is very friendly and kind! I had no complains against the staff, they all were helpful, respectful and professional, they will make you feel welcome!

Unfortunately, this is NOT a 4 star hotel!! I got fooled by the stars... This is a 2 star or a 3 star on a good day!
There were so many roaches in the bathroom, mold in the shower, toilet seat wobbled, sink would clog, the A/C was NOT cold, the balcony door did not lock.
The breakfast was a joke, only 4 options (they called this a buffet).
The gym was a hot room with a whole bunch of old machines.
The hotel standards were extremely low..
I would never return to this hotel or would recommend to anyone!! At most grab the staff and place them in a real 4 star hotel!
Terrible and disappointed experience... not worth it! Stay Away!

It was a reasonable hotel in a location of the older part of Dubai but it was easy to walk around the area to discover the various parts. It was accessible to many areas, was ideal to explore by foot and venturing on the Public transport, if you brave enough.
As noted in a previous posting the hotel is really due for a major overall, I would not class it as a 4* Hotel without the revamp being done. The pool areas on the roof certainly required a very good clean and updating, the Gym phots on the website are carefully taken and are not as complex as you would think looking on the website. the changing room lockers have no keys to secure and some doors are hanging off. the Sauna and Steam room when I went in were not on around 4pm. but had been working earlier in the day, electrics for those would not meet UK standards with the wiring.
The restaurant areas again needed a redecoration and updating also. Staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs.

Very convenient to stay for us for one night.

Handy to have own restaurant- quite nice evening meal. Staff pleasant and helpful. Bed comfortable and room a good size. Wake up call fine. Room maintenance needed attention. Bath rail loose from wall, wash basin tap incomplete and kettle did not work. Reception provided a room on the first floor near the lift as requested so good service.

unfriendly and terrible

if you want to know the meaning of unfriendliness, go to this hotel and meet any of their shift managers.
I'd a terrible experience along with my.family. I told them that I'll be checking in at 3am and they agreed to it. but when I reached there after 8 hour flight with my 1 year old, the manager told me to wait till 2pm the next day as the check in opens at 2pm. he was extremely rude and aggressive towards me and I felt like I'm nobody. I paid him.extra for.early.checking but even then he made me wait for 1 hour before we could go into a very dirty small room.
location is bad. nearest metro station is 45 min walk or take a cab.
also, I was told that the.area where it is located is in red light district, so no question of going with the family.
my recommendation, never go there.

Bad Hotel, Don't Book

Rubbish Hotel, Rude Staff, Insects in Bathroom and stole my jacket while valet parking the car. Staff were unhelpful, although there was another guest on the phone complaining about a lost Ipad, coincidence? I think not. Spend a bit more and book somewhere else.

4 Star Mystery Hotel and a Complete Dive of a Hote

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Passed off as 4 star establishment but not worthy of a single star. Absolutely filthy and grotty. Don't stay here! Take a look at my photos. Blood stains on sheets, ripped carpets, filthy bathroom and Bollywood disco on site that beams throughout the whole building.

Housekeeping can be improved

Housekeeping needs to provide all the items for staying guests, the first time when housekeeping staff made up our room he did not provide all the towels that were suppose to be in the rest room!

The room was clean with plenty of space but the toilet or bathroom was terrible utterly unhygienic unclean . I would rate 3 star or less because of terrible washroom and facilities such as sauna and gym. Where machines were full of dirt and untidy. Hotel is utterly not suitable for family stay it features pubs and dance club so you you wouldn't want your family be there listen to all that

A complete shambles of a hotel!
Hotel staff were very unprofessional and not polite.
I asked for bedding to be changed twice, to monitor the room service left a mark on the bedding, when returned to the room I was assured the bedding was changed.. Only to find the mark was still there, when asked to speak to the manager all I got was an apology.
Was leaving that night so made no difference if the bedding was changed or not but this does leave a question in mind, Was the bedding changed after the previous customer.!! Will not return.

Not Again!

I cannot afford to go through the mistake of booking this hotel ever again. It was so horrible that I left after a night even though I booked for 2 nights. This hotel will bill you an extra AED 150 if you have a visitor that'd come to your room. And the male receptionists talk to you like they are commanding you. No manners

Comfortable hotel close to the airport

Booked a non smoking room and the room we were originally assigned was a smoking room that was very smoky and unacceptable. the staff responded very quickly, apologized and immediately moved us to a suitable room. We liked the room, we found the staff to be very courteous and professional and the location was good for us. I would question the four star rating but would consider this to be a good 3 star hotel and in our opinion it was good value.

Good value hotel in busy Deira.

I don't understand how this place gets so many bad reviews. I stayed a whole week and was more than happy. The rooms are huge, clean and well maintained. The Ind-Chi restaurant served a good buffet breakfast and lunch at very decent prices (didn't try dinner). The sports bar showed the World Cup cricket matches on several screens which was very handy being a cricket fan. There are 3 metro stations in the vicinity but all are a good 1km walk away, as is the Al-Ghurair main shopping mall. I had my own mobile Wi-Fi so didn't try the hotel Wi-Fi. My only gripe was that the air conditioner climate control didn't seem to adjust and was stuck on one setting. Being winter, it tended to get a bit cold so I switched the aircon off and opened the windows instead, which I prefer anyway. My room was at the back of the hotel so the traffic noise wasn't too bad.

For people complaining about the area, well this is Deira and you expect it to be busy and noisy and packed with small shops. I actually liked the experience. If you want somewhere glamorous then stay in another area like downtown Dubai or Jumeirah beach, don't blame the hotel.

To be honest property managements are looking for one off deal they wouldn't mind wether you will prefer further stay with them, you won't have free parking,you will be charged for the next person and the amazing service is 40dirhum per day for wireless which effectively you won't be able to browse and the managers are very rude with customers

I was there for business trip. i requested the room on higher floor,but I got it at 1st floor.night club was too loud till 3am.i had to call room service for spry the air freshener for bad smell.location was soo bad right in the big intersection you can hear the traffic noise from 6am.till 3am you cant sleep and after 6am you also cant sleep.

Good value for money. Breakfast a bit limited - quite a few Indian dishes but basic cereal, omelettes and toast/rolls available (didn't get offered tea/ coffee one morning).
Room fine but it is quite noisy from aircraft and street. Staff generally helpful - my early morning call on my final day was on time and my taxi was ordered as requested.
Hotel is 15 mins walk from nearest metro, also about 15 mins from gold souk and Abra station but be aware you will be quite a long way (and across the creek) from Dubai centre - I knew this and it wasn't a problem for me. There are some fantastic haberdashery shops on the way to the gold souk and there are some real bargains to be had in the naïf area shops.
Rooftop pool very quiet during my stay - pool quite small but adequate to cool off in and certainly not dirty as stated in some reviews. Adequate number of sun beds and I was brought a comfy cover for the lounger. To sum up I would say that you generally get what you pay for and this is a very reasonably priced hotel so don't expect 5 star luxury.

It was fair, but they did not gave us the room that we had booked which was a twin bed instead they gave us a single king bed which we did not use and didn't need. The guys who check people in are not nice at all, but the guys who take people's luggage to the room and back are better....

The only thing good about this stay was the resturant. Yu have to pay for WIFI services that don't work. I would get on for maybe 5-min and then the internet would drop and wouldn't be able to get back online for 45-60 min. Then, again, if I was lucky for only 5-min. It runit the hold stay.

You get what you pay for ....

Huge rooms, comfy huge beds, nice linen, nice small pool .... what more DO people expect? Staff are very friendly if you take the time to talk to them, we had such a blast in the IndChi restaurant, which was very good food ... the chef cooked it especially for us and warned us off dished that we \"might not like\" which was great. Not sure why people complain about this place, its cheap and not a 4 star hotel but its not 4 star pricing either.Its Old Dubal where you can get down and dirty with the locals. Not for everyone and if you want to sip cocktails on the beach... look on. We've stayed there for 2 weeks in total.

My door card didn't work, I had to use a key instead, there was tape over a hole in my door, I never received my daily newspaper and there was no complimentarary bath robe in my room, these were both to be included in my hotel stay. The staff was excellent, they were courteous, helpful, informative and the reason I would stay at your hotel again.

Dit hotel heeft z'n beste tijd gehad. Vloerbedekking, en gordijnen heel smerig. Kamer stinkt naar rook. Dit hele gebouw moeten ze slopen en opnieuw bouwen. Alle stroom van de stopcontacten gaan uit als je de nachtlamp bij de bed uitzet. Dus wij dachten dat onze telefoon ah opladen was maar dat was niet zo. Weet niet hoe deze hotel een 4 sterren hotel genoemd mag worden. Deze hotel is niet eens een 1 sterren hotel waard. Wij hadden kamer 313. De derde verdieping zou alleen maar rookvrije kamers moeten hebben, maar onze kamer stonk naar de vreselijke rook
