Not a 4 star hotel by any means - submitting a formal complaint to DET Dubai to take away their rating and do a formal review.

Checking in - took very long time. I've been staying in hotels for half a decade now and I know that a twin bedroom is same price as single kind bedroom, but when I asked whether my uncle could come and stay for a few nights in a twin bedroom they asked to charge additional 100 AED per night for an additional guest. Then why does the expedia listings show \"sleeps up to 3\"? What extra amenities or services will an additional guest use thats charging the hotel 100 AED additional? That's stealing.

When i reached my room I noticed EVERYTHING was dirty, bed headboard had marks of spitting or some dirty fluid on it, the tray where coffee cups were placed had dirty scratches on it, the bedding just seemed dirty also.

The washroom - NO TOWELS AT ALL! I called the reception, nobody picked up, i called again, they picked up, I asked for towels they said on the way. 30 minutes passed by, 40, 50... i eventually went downstairs and asked for towels, the receptionist apologized, called a staff IN FRONT OF ME, he said he is on the way. I went back to my room, started watching netflix on my laptop and realised after another HOUR that nobody came with the towels. I went down again, the receptionist apologized again, and the staff was called again and they finally brought it. The work staff is just a bunch of slackers who don't like to work at all.

Pros - Good location. Beautiful and spacious room and much reasonable ammenities. Great nightlife options on property.
Cons - Bed and pillow could be more. comfortable for a 4 star hotel. Colored decorative pillow a bit stained. Carpet in room needs cleaning. No power outlet next to bed.

Unfortunately the hotel is located in the entry / exit lane / path of the airport. So there are constantly planes in the air.
Some guests might also be not expecting the nearby mosque’s call to prayer from 5 am or so to be rather prominent, too.

Smelly carpet, Bathroom is dark I had to shave in the room next to the window for light I guess so you don't see the stains allover And it would be better to have standing shower than the stained narrow bathtub, which nobody Will use. I ended up staying at this hotel due to my mother being hospitalised nearby, and I needed to extend my stay. First and foremost, I must commend the exceptional staff across all departments—they were truly amazing. However, the hotel itself could benefit from some updates. The facilities show signs of wear and could use renovation and a bit more attention to detail. Despite this, it was overall a clean environment, the food quality was good, and the pricing was reasonable. Most importantly, during my emergency stay of over two weeks, it provided a safe and comfortable accommodation.

The hotel design is nice and the staff friendly, they gave us good amenities in the room.
There are plenty of regular shops around, the area is a bit too crowded with commerce and vendors, the bedroom and bathroom had this unpleasant smell coming from the drainage which didn’t go away, the bath tub walls need better scrubbing as they look really dirty in between the tiles, perhaps months or years of not proper cleaning.

Hues Boutique Hotel was generally a good experience. Beds were comfortable, tv and table/chair if you have some work to do. Rooms were spacious and washroom was decent. Staff was generally friendly and helpful too.

Internet was great! It was a steady connection, no matter what time of day and was plenty fast (15MBPS on average).

Only issues I experience was Hotel can get a little noisy on the upper floors thanks to the club music whose bass can be heard up into the late night--not ideal for those who want some peace and quiet.

Gym was decent and the pool too (both free). The sauna/steam room /hot tub, although apparently included (see brochure/pdf) it wasn't actually included for free, you have to book a pricy session with the hotel SPA in order to use those facilities--that was a downer for me, as I passed up other hotels because my understanding was Hues Hotel would have a sauna I could use.

Last thing to note is that the nearest metro station is a bit of a walk from the hotel -- at least 10-15mins walk..not the worst, but not ideal.

We did not think the hotel staff was friendly or helpful. The location was also a disappointment. It was not easy to travel to and from Dubai. The surrounding area was not very nice and there wasn't anything to do. The hotel furniture was old and our room had stains. Also, many amenities at the hotel were closed (like the swimming pool), and the hotel did not notify us of this until we arrived. We left the hotel 6 days earlier than planned because we were so unhappy with the staff, location, amenities, and overall quality of the hotel. I would not recommend.

The hotel itself is nice and clean and the staff are very helpful and attentive. The photos are a little misleading and the location is facing a construction site so very noisy, and one can’t rest with very early starts and late finishes with the building work. You can get a taxi easily to go anywhere but the location is more convenient if you want to be near Sharjah rather than Dubai’s landmarks themselves

I liked the contemporary style of the hotel. The convenience of the café, grill, and rooftop lounge being in the hotel was a plus. The hotel staff, particularly the bell hop and housekeeping were very kind and helpful. The neighborhood the hotel is located in isn’t the best. It’s ok for the price and if you plan on spending most of your time at tourist attractions. The pool isn’t the most attractive and their spa opens very late and seems to run out of supplies.

Immediately we walked in, we were met with great service. The staff was very accommodating, the hotel was sparkling and smelled fantastic and the rooms were impeccably clean. It was obvious that everyone takes pride in their job and providing a great guest experience. It was also very nice of them to deliver a cake to all the guests on Christmas Eve! I definitely would recommend Hues to anyone, and will absolutely be back!

The property was ultra modern with excellent gym and spa facilities. The room was spacious and modern with electronic blinds and a good range of free toiletries. I didn’t eat at the hotel so no comment but it does have 24hr room service. It has a rooftop bar which seemed to be well used. The location was ok for my purposes. My only issue was at check out they checked the mini bar and tried to charge me for a bottle of water that the seal had been broken on. I didn’t open it as there was free water so I refused to pay. Next tine I will ask them to clear the mini bar on my arrival as I wouldn’t use anything. I would go there again and I do recommend it

Too many things didn't work. Sockets, some lights in the bathroom, etc. Also, no plug socket near the bed so couldn't charge phone overnight without massive lead. BIGGEST thing is that the internet speed in the evening was LESS THAN 1 MBPS. I tested it repeatedly and it wasn't a blip. Slightly better in the morning but only slightly. It made doing work really difficult. Couldn't use video links, where they worked elsewhere. Couldn't get hot water one morning. Then it returned after a cold shower. Staff were lovely and helpful so no criticism of them. Downstairs restaurant - had to eat there when I arrived. Worst pizza ever. Grim . But the place is clean and looks nice! Club upstairs good for a quick bite and drink late after work. Sorry I can't be more positive.

This hotel has a modern luxurious looks; there is good smell around the facility. The hotel has some small issues they can improve but overall it is a friendly and luxurious facility. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room was great; especial thanks to Mr. Rajesh for his professionalism and customer care while providing information about hotel pool and stream room; he deserves a compliment. We enjoyed our overall stay in this property except my wife’s Muskara went missing from the room. Overall the staff members were friendly. The parking area is not too big.

This 4 start hotel is very nice and clean. The room are updated, it has nice views from the windows. The hotel do not allow guest in the room unless you are checking in together. If not you will need to book a separate room for your guest when they come to visit you.

I’ve stayed in this hotel two years ago. Had a positive experience then. However this time on my business visit to Dubai I booked this hotel for almost 15 days. It doesn’t have the sophisticated charm like it used to before. Now it seemed a bit off. I must add the service of each staff member was top notch. From valet to front desk I was greeting and received well. However the hotel has a very strange rule for not having any stranger inside the hotel. Even food delivery / uber Guys. Everytime I had food delivered to my room I had to personally come down to receive me food from the basement level. Which I thought was a bit awkward. I’ve had numerous sleepless nights because of the planes flying over the hotel literally almost every 5-7 minutes.
The location for me was ideal . The roof top lounge was just dead with barely anyone inside. I almost forg but I hate their toilets , they are weird shaped and almost feels like it’s for little kids who need to potty train, extremely uncomfortable.

It was a comfortable stay although there was often noises at night which we suspected was from the bar (intertainment). We found staff there to be very helpful and very respectful. Reception is open 24hrs. The hotel Chris 300aed though deposit on arrival in case you break something. Or you can give them your passport to hold instead of money. Checking out was very quick, no delays.

Great value for the money but not a good location.

I been in this hotel already for a few times. Excellent value for the money. Got an update to a suite this time. Much appreciated. Always feel welcomed in this hotel. Service is top. Nice pool and rooftop bar. 2 clubs in the hotel to spend the evenings. Area is not that good. Far away from everything and no access to public transport.

Fooled by Expedia, helpless staff! AVOID

Paid for a rool sleeps 4 people but given a small room with a king bed for 3 guys, have to pay more for more comfortable beds for all of all us. Expedia staff hunged up on me (or line disconnected), never cared to follow on my problems, staff were useless!

THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME TO USE EXPEDIA FOR MY TRAVEL!

Some respect to customers, and don't lie to them as well!

The hotel has a good modern décor, and the staff were great but be aware, there is a nightclub in the building that goes until 3am. I was given the room directly above it and the thumping noise of the music was terrible....even with ear plugs. So I spoke to reception the next day to shift, which they gladly obliged....but I honestly don't think a paying guest should be put in that situation in the first place.

The hotel itself was top notch. However, the hotel is some 20 miles away from anything that is considered night life. My girlfriend felt very uncomfortable walking around the area as it's overpopulated with men. All of which have seem to have never seem a white woman before. I cannot fault the hotel and its staff! Very professional and the food is very nice.

Decent room, but not a great location

The location is a bit far from metro (around 1-2 km), getting a taxi or bus is equally difficult. The reception staff weren't really welcoming or friendly. The bellboy and doorman were very helpful. The room was ok, the fridge wasn't very functional and didn't have room for even a water bottle. The bathroom, bed, wifi and tv were all fine. There is an attached club downstairs that gets really busy late at night, so noise and frequent guest might be an issue to some. Overall ok if you aren't paying too much and not looking to travel around back and forth from the hotel.

Main issue is the location. It is close to sea but neiburhood is not good at all, poor neighbourhood and poor quality foods. Not recommend to eat around hotel.
Hotel it self is fine just make sure you face beach not back rooms facing balconies of local people.

Lovely hotel had a pleasant stay modern new rooms with touch operating lights, lamps, curtains, AC.
The noise at night lets it down a little due to clubs but then again if your a chiller like me you won't mind. Recommend for couples but not for kids. small alcoholic drinks in the fridge you wouldn't want your kids thinking its juice and drinking it. Moreover great staff help you a lot but find it a little difficult understanding English. Overall is recommended if your not too fussy over small petty things that can irritate.

I arrived at 9am and was faced with sign stating 14:00 check-in, but I asked ask anyway in the hope of getting a room and fortunately for me I managed to get a street view room before 2pm. I only have positive memories of this hotel, the staff are more than happy to help and the facilities are more than satisfactory. The Hues hotel works very well. If you want a hotel in Deira Dubai this is a practical location.

I stayed here last month celebrating my girlfriends birthday. The room we originally stayed in was on the 3rd floor and it had a broken lamp aswell as blood stains in the carpet and it was a hassle getting moved in to a new room. The area is filthy and isn't recommended to walk around at night it is very sketchy.
