The hall way, the elevator is filled with cigarette smoke

Worst customer service experience ever!
When we checked in, and went to the room, we tried to shower but there was no water pressure coming out of the faucet. We call the reception severals times, waited more than 3 hours and nobody showed up to fix. We decided to checkout and leave for a another hotel. Forgot to mention that there was mold all over in the bathroom. If you have choice, stay away from this hotel.

We knew we booked for a 3-star hotel with minimal expectations but we opened the toilet and it had the smell of sewage that wouldn’t go away! Not to mention the cockroaches you see inside the room and the toilet. Guessing because housekeeping sprays the room with toxic insecticides.

The worst hotel night in my entire history

This was the worst stay during the years I've spent traveling and going to hotels around the world, the hotel was full of perverts and men all around their club downstairs in the reception, and as me and my fiancee entered the hotel at our first night, they starred at her so badly that she and I felt so uncomfortable, and top of that they have denied my fiancee access to the hotel, saying that I can't get guests into the rooms although the room was booked for two people and we were the only two people in that room, I have had to go upstairs grab our luggage and find a new hotel at around 2am, it was the worst experience, and their manager was rude and so are the staff, they didn't even try to help us solve the issue in anyway, don't waste your time and money on a low class garbage place like that, especially if you're a couple just don't put yourself into this position as we did, there other hotels all around Dubai that are 100x better.

Free Nightclub thrown in!

Checking in late from a delayed flight didn't get me off to a great start. Ended up in an acceptable room but with a thumping Nightclub that felt like it was just a floor or two below me. Hardly slept. Eyes on stalks for my first day abroad. I'd missed the start of the free entertainment the previous night due to the late check-in, but on my second night it kicked-off at 11.30pm and by 2am having not slept a wink, I phoned reception asking when the noise was due to stop? 3am sir!
I told them that I would need to be moved to a quieter room in the morning as this was unacceptable. I arrived at reception with all my packed up luggage at about 9.30am. They thought I was checking-out early! Having to explain again the situation, I was moved to a much quieter room for the remaining 3 nights. Staff generally, quite pleasant and friendly.

I booked this hotel from a Starbucks nearby after learning my flights home had been oversold and I would need to spend an additional night in Dubai. Now I admit I booked this hotel while primarily focusing on price because I had an 8am flight out and would only need the room for less than 12 hrs, that was probably my mistake because this place was pretty bad.

The room was dirty throughout, the mirrors had a mystery substance on it, the sheets and pillows had hair, holes, random black and red marks on them. The walls had stains, the refrigerator was gross with mold and food residue. The walls are paper thin and there is a nightclub on the ground floor that goes until about 2am at which point the drunks file upstairs to their rooms and continue to drink and party till 4am. Fortunately I spent several years on an aircraft carrier and can sleep thru anything but fair warning to those who cannot. As for the bathroom the lone roll of toilet paper was wet, not sure what from so I used napkins instead, I also opted for a hobo bath via the sink versus getting in the shower, which looked clean on the surface but given the state of the room I wasn't going to chance it.

This hotel is excellent for the price. The location and staff were also excellent. Obviously certains things like breakfast etc were not tye bbest but obviously you are notpaying for a 5 star hotel. If/when I go to Dubai again if I get this hotel at a cheap price again I will most definitely stay here.
My family members also enjoyed there stay here.

Front desk not particularly helpful or friendly. Young woman chewing gum was a really bad look. Loud drums from the nightclub on the first floor kept us awake till the early hours of the morning. Bathroom was very clean, good supply of hot water, big bath towels. Taxi back to the airport was the best part!

50 m from Metro and the 4th cheapest place in Duba

I got one of the quiet rooms on the 7th floor, yay. And once I closed the bathroom door I couldn't hear the drip, drip, drip anymore and could sleep pretty well on that rock-hard bed. In the morning I didn't dare use shampoo because the water pressure was so low that I was afraid I couldn't wash it out, but it was only one night ....... The description says there is a business center, which it does NOT, but the staff actually let me use the computer in their office to quickly confirm my flight, which was nice. There are several grocery stores and little restaurants within 10 meters of the hotel. And, of course, it's 50 meters from the metro.

Did not see any hookers, as the other reviews described. The hotel staff is nice and the rooms are what you would expect from a 2 * hotel. Bed is hard but manageable. Their is no gym and you have to pay for wifi. It is still a good value for money. Would only recommend for bachelors.

It's actually a pretty decent hotel. Location is perfect being right next to the train station. As stated previously there were no towels in the room but one call to the front desk and I had some within 5 minutes. Check in and check out were easy and they did not keep my passport till checkout like other hotels do. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel rates are a steal for Dubai. But it was totally not worth it! The bathroom was dubiously \"clean\", the towels were so dingy they were gray, some tiles were taped up with packing tape... The list goes on. If I could undo that experience I would. It was awful!!!

I don't usually take the time to review hotels. I used to when I traveled for leisure, but now that I'm travelling for business I just don't have the time. Definitely made room for an exception here. The worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life was a roadside motel in New Jersey immediately after Hurricane Sandy. This was the second worst. It was filthy disgusting, the plaster was peeling off the walls, there were zero amenities (unless you include \"no cockroaches\" as an amenity), and the beds were the worst I've slept on in years. I've slept on wooden tables that were more comfortable. Hot water in the shower is iffy and the temperature seems to fluctuate wildly during the course of taking one. Getting a quiet room is apparently an issue with the crummy little - but loud - club they have downstairs. I was offered a double bed on the second floor but was told it would be loud and to take the twin bed on the sixth. Why would it be so loud on a Monday night?? To make matters worse (somehow), they nickle-and-dime you by charging you 50 DHS for internet - which barely works anyhow! What a joke. My rate was seemingly low (double digit USD) but even for free I wouldn't stay here again (well...maybe for free - but not a penny more!). I've stayed in hostels that were nicer. In fact, I think EVERY hostel I've ever stayed in is nicer. Have I made my point? Hotels.com should remove this hotel from their website.

It is really not good. I should have listened to the reviews. The beds are not comfortable, the noise from the night club kept us awake till 2am sometimes longer and the service was really sub standard. The location is ok the metro is right next to the hotel but most of Dubai is far away and it is expensive to get to. All in all it was a bad hotel for someone that was on holiday.

Exactly what you pay for

Overall I was very pleased. I got exactly what I paid for. I am returning to Dubai in a few weeks and will use this hotel again. From the airport you can take the metro and in about 20 minutes be at a station that is about 100 meters (literally) from the hotel. Given the metro only costs a few dollars to ride, I enjoyed savings there as well, over a taxi. Certainly not the Burj Arab but the staff was friendly and the room was clean despite being an older place. I couldn't figure out the logic behind the dance clubs in the place though...?

The room had a very worn out look. Shabby is the right word. The housekeeping guy wouldnt turn up when I told him to come back in a while as I was busy. I stayed 6 days but my room was cleaned only twice. The room service was pathetic. A simple order for club sandwiches & tea took more than 45 minutes to arrive & when it finally arrived, it was all cold. Each time I had to give a reminder call to the room service. My hotel experience was not a very memorable one.

The hotel seems very old with paint coming off the wall. The bed is very hard like a rock. We stayed there for 8 days and our bedding was only changed once. The electric outlet was coming out of the wall, every time we try to charge our phone, the power to the room goes off. We had to call several times before they finally got it fixed. Television only has 2 channels in English. The staff were okay. The only good thing is the hotel is close to the metro and there are several convenient stores and a mall on the strip. There are several clubs within the hotel and its noisy so you're better off staying on the top level. Don't pay anything more than $50 a night for this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.
