I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with several aspects of my recent stay. Despite my prior arrangements and willingness to cover the cost, airport pickup was not provided. Furthermore, I was not assigned the King Size room I had reserved, and instead received a twin-bedded room. The 4th-floor entrance, which serves as a SPA reception, was an unexpected and somewhat inconvenient arrangement. I believe the rooms are in need of renovation, as evidenced by the broken toilet accessories. To compound these issues, my request for a late checkout was denied by a manager in a manner I found unprofessional, despite a initial confirmation from another manager.

Stayed at this hotel for two days for business. I left my watch and diamond ring in the room which i forgot I emailed multiple times. They never responded to me what kind of five star hotel is this. Hotel is full of indian tour bands comes in a pack. Loudly barking at night all night long You cannot sleep. Room is filthy have smoke smell present. Bed sheet was very unsanitary . Stay away. I will contact Dubai police.

Overall the hotel stay was good, it was clean and tidy. Good leisure facilities, breakfast was good and the service was great in the restaurant
Check-in was slow, hotel concierge was almost non-existent; had to carry own luggage to reception but receptionist (Avnas) was good who helped to take the luggage to the room.
Arranged late check out, thanks to Mariane it was agreed till 6pm but later we had extend to 11pm as their was flight delay, the reception was not prepared to extend so resulted in paying 50% of day rate.

When I got to the reception, I was not greeted at all and there were 3 recioptionists and nobody acknowledged me. They admitted a couple of other guests ahead of me and I waited for at least 7 minutes until someone came and greeted me. While helping me the receptionist was assisting other guests. I was socked as to why a Crowne Plaza hotel was so poorly managed. My room was dirty and I was extremely disappointed. The bathroom toilet bowl was dirty with drips of dried urine on the toilet bowl seat. There was an empty water bottle in the room from the previous guest. The drawer and tv stand was not wiped clean. The Deira area was also not a great area to stay in.

This is a hotel for SMOKERS! Hotel room smelled extremely smoky (cigarettes) particularly in the bathroom despite being on the ‘non smoking floor’.Third floor was a smoking floor and the smoke wafts up to the 4th floor (non smoking floor) easily. Really not impressive especially when there is allergy to cigarettes.
Room for 2 people with only 1 bathrobe. Obviously the reservation was clearly made for 2 pax.
No shower/hand gel in either container in bathroom!! (And no other soap options).
No shower cap.
Wifi hit and miss.
Loading unloading at front door extremely difficult. When we checked out there were hotel guests, guests for an Indian wedding in the ballroom, 2 ambulances, 2 fire trucks, very few parking places in order to load cars with luggage. Not impressed with hotel layout at all.
Will definitely NOT return.

The hotel location is very convenient to use public transportation and roam around the city. The Salah Al Din metro station on the Green Line is a few blocks away from the hotel.
I stayed on October 2017 for the first time and now on August 2024. Its location was the key to stay for a second time there.
But the hotel needs a lot of TLC care. I notice nothing had changed since. The decoration needs an improvement as well as the hallways and rooms carpet a good shampoo cleaning will do. The bathroom shower walls and under the sink are full of mold, somethings that makes one think twice before to use them.
I requested the shampoo dispenser to be refilled three times, but it was never done.
Eventhough, there is a sign of no smoking allowed in the room, but the room has a very strong cigarette smoking smell.
Frontdesk attention was good at check in and out.
Breakfast food. They have a nice variety for you to choose from.
Bar service they serve alcohol. The bartender knows how to prepare good drinks , and the food was good as well.

I thought the overall experience was OK. The hotel is beginning to look tired.
I sent some clothing off for laundry and when it was eventually delivered, a member of staff asked me to pay for the service in cash. When I explained I didn't have any cash on me, he asked me to check in my wallet. I have been travelling for over 40 years on business and have never been asked to pay cash for this type of service. The worst part of this story is I had to get out the shower to answer the door.

This hotel is horrendous and does not deserve a 5-star rating. Our room was on the first floor (110), and apparently, we're quite close to the hotel's club, as we could hear loud music from 10 pm to 3 am every single night. I complained to the manager, and he offered my family to move to another room. However, because my grandma had already settled in and due to a disability, it would have been highly inconvenient for her to change rooms. Moreover, housekeeping there does a poor job, except for Shwe — she was a sweetheart and deserves to work at a much better place. I had to talk to the housekeeping manager on the third day to ensure the cleanliness of the room. The cherry on top is that our safe malfunctioned quite frankly every day since we moved in. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are definitely better options available in the city. Do not stay here.
P.S. WiFi here is crap, too.

The moment you step into the hotel you love the infrastructure, modern look and service at the reception. The pleasure and expectations of having booked a five star hotel for your family is lost when you step into the room. The room and more specifically the small toilet and bath tub is well below the standard of even a 4 star hotel. The room and amenities are old. Breakfast was more like in a food court. Long delays at egg station, failed coffee machines, soft butter not served in ice and above all difficulty of finding a free table due to very high occupancy. Pool and Gym are OK.

What i didn't like was not having entertainment channels on tv, only couple of english speaking news channels, rest were in arabic.
Secondly the fridge was not cooling enough, the chocolates we put in were melting
Hotel itself was brilliant but the location was not good, about 100 meters past the hotel there were working prostitutes harassing passers by.

Most Staff were nice and friendly except for one male staff at the reception. He was EXTREAMLY RUDE and misogynistic. The staff at the concierge/security was very very helpful in getting taxies when we needed them. The hotel is sound proof ONLY from outside noises and not within the hotel itself. You clearly hear your neighbors in the adjacent rooms and the music from the restaurant at night. Breakfast and pool was great. plenty of options for breakfast, but it was the same food everyday. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Burj Khalifa from the pool area! Rooms and amenities can use some updates!

The staff at the hotel were all excellent. However the building, and our room, were dated and dark, although there appeared to be work going on to fix this. Being with my family I was disappointed to see cards of semi naked women scattered along the walkways near the hotel, as well as “male adult massage” businesses next to it.

Our flights were early so they made us breakfast in a bag to take with us , nice touch .

I upgraded to the junior suite due to standard being quite small but once I got in the the couch look like a couple might have had to much fun in there and it was kind of gross so I upgraded to the executive suite and it was better except extra furniture stuck in odd places where you couldn’t open the drawers the room wifi never worked the entire time and in every room I was in the tv channels had horrible quality
But overall it was ok just some not so great moments

I have stayed in a spacious suite and it was great, but I have noticed many insects in that suite. The hotel NEEDS to spray insecticide. Otherwise, many customers will never come back. I really really want to thank all the staff especially Mr. Malak in the reception for his endless help and cooperation with me all the time.

There was confusion about payments and my reservation. Breakfast options were fine, but lunch and dinner were poor (separate restaurant). Some staff (including at check-in, and 1 person working in the restaurant - all men) were not wearing masks and one male staff was walking around caughing - he probably had COVID.

Hi there if you check our booking we clearly booked for 5 people but they gave us two twin rooms instead of one twin and one king size room and they make us wait at lobby quite a long time because they were saying they can’t find our booking and trying to charge us 220 AED Approximately £45 extra and rooms was too small for 5 people we did tell them but they said they’ve got only these rooms available basically they put us in situation take it or leave it we really want compensation because we never had this experience before if you need more information please don’t hesitate to contact me thanks

I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and hotel was excellent. The daily room service could have been little better but was still to my satisfaction. The staff was very welcoming and Jerry in Club Lounge was a nice person. I had an issue the very first day at breakfast and decided not to go for breakfast anymore until a manager called Mr. Maged Mohamed found out few days later why i had stopped going for my morning breakfast. He was very sorry for the confusion and accepted their mistake and dealt with the issue extremely well and without any delay. He was the best of the best and without him i would have never gone back for breakfast. He knows how to do his job and i felt that the hotels reputation was very important to him. He actually gave me his card and said i must inform him prior to staying at this hotel in future. The hotel was good in all aspects.
Bad Points. The carpet in my Executive Suite was very dirty with stains and so was the sofa in the seating area. It just looked dirty. The room service people at times kept forgetting to put basic things like toilet paper, toiletries, small towels and so on but when requested they would come and give it without delay. I would stay again for sure but if carpets and sofas had stains i would address the issue to management now and not overlook it like i did this time.
