The bedroom had a funny smell like urine, the shower head had brown dirty water coming out and the manager and some staff were very rude.. they always make a face when u ask for something and always rude and mutter under the breath.. I asked them not to enter my room yet they entered

Checked in my hotel on Friday the 24th around 4am ish. First thing I notice when me and my assistant got in the room was the smell of cigarettes and wet sheets. The toilet had popped satins, shower area was really disgusting, and floor was filthy, there were also bugs and cockroaches in the bedding area, phone wasn’t work, plus the tv. I also have pictures to provide. I’m highly disappointed about this hotel

Very bad experience with allergies because of cleanness of the room. Won't recommend.
The mattress are terrible and sofa was dirty.

However the only positive point they are willing to help you park your luggage.

When I entered in the room bathroom was in dirty situation and on floor there were cockroaches
I showed this situation and they changed my room
Next room has smoking smell, bathroom was dirty bed sheets had red spots all over hairs we had terrible experience and we had to shift in another room- I can send you pictures

The room was very smelly and dark. During shower water was falling on bath floor and there was not enough glass wall around the bathtub or shower certain to hold it.
Location was good and walkable to market. When you open the window you can see the cloths hanging all over in your next building apartments.

I found the condition of the room was definitely not four star especially the bathroom.
On day two I complained about faults in the room , they were never addressed even after repeating them a few days later .
The breakfast food is definitely not international but cater for the Indian subcontinent, very limited .
Doors in the hotel have to banged shut to close therefore all night the banging goes on .

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. The internet connection was extremely slow and the cable television was out. No one bothered to tell us this when we checked in. The location is not in a good part of town (even by Deira standards) and is very inconvenient.

Expedia rates this property as a 4-star hotel but in reality this hotel barely measures up to a 3-star experience. On check in the room I received had dirty sheets and completely ill serviced bathroom with the sink and bathroom tub stained and cracked and no hot water. I requested to change the room which they did without issue. The new room was okay, but the cleanliness still could have been better. All the rooms smelled horrible and hardly live up to a 3-star experience. The breakfast was also incredibly limited and mediocre and I would recommend passing without it.

Never again will I stay in this hotel and I will recommend everyone to be careful when Expedia marks a hotel as 4-stars.

Terrible experience. First no restaurants, bars or terrace open. Room cleaning need big improvement, toilet not working and when I reported instead change my room hotel send maintenance supervisor who did nothing. He show up another time after 11:30 pm ready to work. Room has minibar fridge so loud that I need to disconnect it from power supply in order to have some peace. There is also TV in the room but without remote. Definitively this was my first and last stay in this hotel. Overall terrible

This is a ageing hotel, most of the staff are friendly and helpful except in the dining area.

The property pictures online were definitely edited or Photoshopped. Wifi wasn't working in our rooms which was very frustrating. The breakfast quality was not very good too. Neighbourhood is not the best. Overall stay was very bad. We had to leave one night before our check out and book in another hotel because of the poor quality of stay. I would rate this hotel with max 2 stars.

The hotel is old and not a four star property as stated on Expedia. The carpet in our room was heavily stained and we could tell that the hotel had seen much better days. I cannot recommend this property. Its only redeeming quality is its accommodating staff.

Windows from outside were so dirty that we couldn’t see a thing! No hair conditioner at the hotel.. extremely poor wifi connection!

I wanted a late check out and the Reception said that upto 2 PM check out will be free.

I cut short my shopping and rushed back. The reception told me that I did not need a late check out because I had the reservation till next date that was till 11 AM 04 Feb 200=20. Although surprised , I asked her to check again and she confirmed . Because the resrvation was made by my Staff at the office, I acccepted the possibility.

I went to room and wauited for my wife and daughter to arrive because our Flight was late at night.

At about five I got a call that the booking was only till 03 Feb and I will now be required to pay late check out charges of half a day.

I objected because I had returned in time at 1400 hrs.

But I was forced to pay the 100 Dhm

I think it let a bad taste

Good quick stay.

Good: location, comfy bed, clean, friendly staff - thanks to Bless and all, good wifi, safe area/lots of shops/restaurants and Al Rigga Metro Station. No far from Union Metro Station as well.

Bad: a pretty expensive breakfast, rooms are a bit dark decor suggest a small renovation to clear up and a better atmosphere at the room.

I requested to check out a bit before 6pm, all smoothly done, just paid half stay and all fine. No stress at all.

I would stay there again! I would recommend this hotel for a friend. Thank you!

Pictures are fooling- the hotel is located in a neighborhood and the view is of apartment buildings with satellite dishes and laundry hung on lines. The hotel is small and so are the rooms. The “pool” is located on the roof, and unless one enjoys being baked by 100 degree, musty, dusty air in clear view of locals, is a clear no-no! One positive thing, it is secure and elevator to the floors are accessible by room key only. It is no closer to the souks then other much nicer 5 star hotels (the entire city is the size of a small suburb). And final note, taxi drivers have a hard time finding this hotel, there are 4 other landmark hotels, this being the newest. It needs to be removed from expedia’s List of hotels (which has never been disappointing). Never heard or saw a vacuum cleaner, toilets were barely scrubbed, the two bath towels, and one hand towel allocated for two guests were never replaced and we had no toilet paper until we made several calls. The front desk was curt and hardly listened. Let me note that the cleanliness is not the staff’s fault, speaking with one, he told me that management limits the number of cups and towels allocated per room, as he washed our used coffee mugs in the bathroom sink with a sponge- no idea if it is the same sponge used to wipe counters. In the meantime, he never replaced used towels, nor replenished used coffee packs. We ended up buying our own coffee, sugar, milk. If planning to stay in the area, try the Radisson Blu or the Hyatt.

It was a weekend, swimming pool wasn’t warm as well the gym, first day they told it was due to Friday mentainance and then it continues in sateray with no answer.
Breakfast is very poor.

Service was excellent and the staff could not do enough to please you. Suite had a large living area and bedroom and the bathroom had oval jacuzzi with an over the bath rain shower. Hotel is about 550 metres from the metro red line which gives you easy access to a couple of malls and other attractions. There are two 24 hour supermarkets close by. Good value for money hotel.

Suba needs to be a bit more particular with stored luggage as it should be in a room rather than left outside.

It has a very bad water system as during shower the water become suddenly cold & suddenly hot, pressure of the water suddenly strong & suddenly weak!

Value for money definitely. Free airport shuttle service was excellent. The hotel did not send someone to fetch my friends and I initially despite special request, but we went to the airport information counter to call Suba hotel and they immediately sent a driver to get us. Rollaway bed was not comfortable as there was little cushion left and the hard springs could be easily felt. Overall still a great stay for the money's worth!!:)

The hotel is only 3 miles from the airport and it is walking distance to the Metro Union Station and from there you can get to pretty much anywhere in the city and back to the hotel and they give you a free shuttle to the airport. The pool was really nice but there like only a young frenchwoman who did not want to Shag and that was still okay

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Room was terrific, large with all modern fixtures and comfortable bedding. Free gym, pool and sauna. Could use courtesy sandals for the pool, the rooftop was blisteringly hot. Could use ice machine. Free airport pickup. Highly recommended.
