We had a great stay at the Broadway Plaza Hotel. The location is great, with many good dining options right outside the door. There’s a subway station about a block away, but it’s also a very walkable location. Our room was pretty big, with a king bed and sleeper sofa, and it was quiet. Location was great - relatively quiet area with a subway station within a block of the hotel and lots of eating places close by. We stayed in a 2 queen bed and sofa bed suite and it was great for our family of five and had a lovely view of the Empire State Building. We had 6 of us and the room was very spacious and accomodating. The staff was super friendly and even open the door with a smile as you come and go. There wasn’t parking directly at the hotel so we had to get those details but it wasn’t far. They charged additional fees whether you ate the snacks or drank the water so that was confusing and not clearly conveyed by the staff or any info in the room, there was mold in the corner of the shower and the pull out couch was nothing but back wrecking springs so that was disappointing but all in all we would stay here again due to the staff and accomodating room.

The room was on the larger side for a NYC hotel - clean, well-appointed and a great closet and bathroom. Also, in a great location - the street out front is blocked off so in warmer months you can sit outside and dine with all of the various restaurants on the street. The downside is there is not restaurant or bar in the hotel - so you cannot get breakfast with your room but there are plenty of cute coffee places and other dining within a few steps from the hotel.
