The room wasn’t clean, every day after coming back at night I found out they didn’t clean the room, after complaining they clean only one night the room. Also they refuse to give you clean towels.
I even spoke with the manager Mustapha who didn’t do anything and only said “ Next time you here we will clean up the room”
That was very sarcastic.
The phone in the room also didn’t work
It was a terrible unacceptable experience.

Not clean. The toilet was covered in human dirt. There was a door in our room that connected our room to the next room (519&518). They were smoking all the time and irritated us because of the tobacco smell and contamination penetrating through that door. Staff didn’t confront them.

It was not a clean hotel and looked completely different from the pictures. Our first room was awful, and they had to change it. However, the staff and workers were very nice and kind, which was the only good part of our stay.
Tge area of hotel was so bad and not good for stay. Busy- dirty.

Good Place to Stay

I chose this as this was 4 star and it was near to Metro station. I had no complaints. I booked online and it was cheaper. I got a room on the upper floor so there was no such noise from the cafe downstairs.

Excellent service!! All the people in this hotel were very nice and helpfull!! Room is very nice, breakfast and dinner were great and there is a gym and a pool at the rooftop.
Al rigga metro station is 5 minutes walk or you can find a taxi in the street in 5 minutes.

Need renovation & pest control

I’ll start by saying that if I had a refundable reservation I would have left the 2nd night!
The rooms are in desperate need for renovation, not sure if the furniture is old or they are trying to pull off a classic style, but for sure their showers, tubs, seats, flush & shower curtains need to be changed.
Stayed 2 nights in the first room:
Shower handle broken, can’t use the tub to relax as the water holder doesn’t work, remote control not working. I asked them to change the room after the first night they said they dnt have availability & that they will fix the problems.
They changed the remote, it still ddnt work, the 3rd day I stopped having hot water. It is when I insisted to change the room and if they dnt have availability they can give me my money & I can go somewhere else.
Room 2 I stayed 7 nights:
Better than first room but still the bathroom needs renovation.
To note that in both rooms I had cockroaches! & when I complained abt that they said they sprayed but can’t do anything more...
several times I had to go back down to reactivate my key card.
Not sure how they are operating a 4 stars hotel.
Food not bad, though they dnt have diet cola only regular lol.
Location is in older part of Dubai.
Parking is available
Supermarket around the corner
Have a gym and pool but I Ddnt use.

The staff tried to help & are friendly, but that’s not enough to run a hotel

The room was clean and modern on a non smoking floor. The lobby and hotel bar were smoke filled. Hotel staff was awful with service and fixing my reservation to accommodate me. They stated they didn't have the room type (king size and twin) i requested at their location and also wanted to charge me for more adults in the room, which i tried to inquire about before the trip but did not get an answer. Seeing that me and 3 other adults were headed back to the United States in about 5 hours we were not actually spending the night. We needed a room to refresh and somewhere safe for our luggage. After i did not accept getting more rooms they finally allowed me to leave the luggage in their car and gave me a room with ONE bed for just me.

This hotel doesn’t do justice to the holiday inn brand. One of the worst experiences I ever had to deal with!

There was no running hot water for my stay of 4 days, I was told the “engineers” were working on and it should be done fixed within few hours (same reason by all different employees as if they were trained to reply accordingly)

The room and local hallway stunk of bug spray; good to think that the hotel was making sure that no little critters would bother us but the odor of this spray was over powering; at first my wife insisted on a different room; the staff was very helpful, helped us move to a room that stunk less. But that room was much older, was not updated and not nearly as good a room. So my wife asked to move back to the first room, which we were able to do. She liked that room much better and got used to the powerful bug spray smell. Staff very helpful, a pleasant visit.

When we first arrived no one came outside even though I went in to tell them that we are here. The second time i went in one of the staff showed us the way to the parking lot which was ver small and annoying. We booked two rooms one both of them had bad smell. They switched rooms for us and the second one had smell as well but not as bad as the first one. The room service wasn’t as terrible.

The location is so convenient to the metro and nearby restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly, but careless and unfortunate errors were made. My room key stopped working on 3 separate occasions, due to programming the card incorrectly. I was also billed incorrectly for the hotel tax. I have no dispute for the tax itself, but find it disappointing that I was billed incorrectly and had to use much time to settle a bill that should have beeen paid days before.

Located in very busy area so traffic was a challenge, however only 10 mins or so to the airport so convenient for a quick stopover. The hotel itself is very old and in need of an update, the shared area carpets were very dirty and the condition of the room very tired ie bath enamel coming off, shower barely worked and furnishings a bit dirty. However the bed was very comfortable, bedding very good and I had a great sleep. I ate rom service with a mixed grill and it was very tasty. The staff were very helpful and doing their best, just an old hotel. The price was very cheap for Dubai though so you have to be realistic about what you get. Standout was the positive and helpful attitude of the staff.

staff useless as sink hole was blocked for 3 days and despite complains nothing was done.
charged me for being a bit early and then after all inconvenience refused to waiver the charge. I had booked for 7 nights and wanted to cancel on first day but was told it not refundable.

Starting with how small the room was compared to the picture shown when we were booking, it was a little disappointing. Then, the bathroom mirror was really bad stained that was annoying to use, our bed sheets had stains, housekeeper did not refilled coffee supplies once we consumed it. Overall it was an OK stay, I would not stay there again unless the room was on discount and had more or better commodities.

The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport. However, the taxi driver got very cranky because he had been waiting for 2 hours for a fare. The hotel itself is fine but the room is old and needs updating. The bathtub seem a bit dirty with some stains that I was about to rinse off with water. The bed is comfortable. Check-in and check-out is speedy. I did not visit their amenities (ie. gym) nor did I have their breakfast.

Service at the hotel was impeccable.special mention of mr joy and mr shabin,who went out of the way to look into our preferrences,and arrange hassle free tours,trips.
The check in on arrival was smooth and quick. Similar was the checkout.
Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed the hummus. Delicate flavours. Kudos to executive chef and his team.
Sleep quality was good.rooms were of adequate size with all required amenities. Housekeeping is done everyday and that is commendable!
Swimming pool and a swankier bathroom,would have made the hotel on the top most list,for the budget traveller.
On the whole a super experience!! Will be sure to return back again.

Well, staying in the vibrant part of Dubai, Dubai Creek, in a hotel which reflects this vibration, nothing more you may want. It is vibrant ... not quiet ... not a family retreat ... it is fun though ... and while the hotel is a bit vintage ... the staff is really good and helpful. It is a good place to go to :) ... You almost feel like Anton Ego, when you are at this hotel and in this area. First , there is the feeling, you are in the wrong place ,,, later your heart opens up to it and you enjoy every single bit of it (Ratatouille, the movie). So, go there and enjoy.

A not altogether pleasant experience

The hotel is difficult to get to if your driving yourself around and is very basic in terms of accommodation these days.
The night club on till 3 am every night is not helpful and the Breakfast is not great.
Whatch out for the Wi Fi signal strength if you reliant on this for work purposes and of course the fact that its not inclusive is an interesting ,marketing strategy.

The premises have several horrendous entertainment rooms that can be heard in any room I was unfortunate enough to stay on the 3 rd floor directly over a Indian disco room the music was that loud it sounded like the DJ was in my room. I am a working man and. Had to be up at 6 the music went on until 02.30 Monday morning. I booked a non smoking room and this I confirmed when I booked in the room stank of smoke and there were burns all over the furniture where cigarettes had burnt down , even. The bed sheets stank of smoke I felt ill . I was moved to the 7th floor the next day and although the room was better you could still hear the constant base thud coming through the walls . I would rather sleep at a bus stop than stay there again .

Had to wait two hours till they found a room that I've booked a week before hand.
I was basically sleeping in a disco, from midnight till late 3am music was non stop causing major inconvenience.
Furthermore they attempted to charge me extra as i was leaving, claiming it was mandatory, which was a bit silly because you'd expect to have already paid for everything when booking.

I think that they do not care about their customers , I asked them for a quiet , but they give me a room over the disco which was so noisy till 3AM. They also told me that I have to pay for the extras by derham , so I did , but they also charge my credit card. I already complain about this charge to hotel.com. I think this is their fault to let the hotel charge me twice.

The stay was ok. The staff was very helpful, especially when they moved my rooms due to smoking vs non-smoking room. The room itself was ok. As I noted to the front desk, there was lack of hot water in the shower, and the iron was broken. Having a cold shower does not start of a good day. The breakfast was pretty standard fair. Was able to get a Starbucks coffee in the lounge bar.

Nightclub plays loud music till early hours of the morning which could be heard on 5th floor making sleeping very difficult.
Room did not look like a four star hotel.
Cupboard doors & bathroom doors were mis-alligned & could not be shut properly.
Bathroom light could not be switched off & with the door not shutting, light was visible in the bed room at night making sleeping more difficult.
Wifi VERY expensive, 60 Dhs per day for one device.

it was a bad experience , since it is mentioned that it is 4 star , but actually the Holiday inn Marseille that i stayed 3 years ago in France & it was 2 star , was much better as cleanses & are wise , in this hotel , a lot of Noises from Disco was coming & some drunk people we met in the morning while going to breakfast .

It was very small, and the carpet seemed so dirty that I didn't want to walk barefoot on it. Because of the smallness of the room, I could not maneuver around very comfortably. Also, the A/C didn't work very well. Once again, the staff were all very friendly, however. It was just the room that was a TOTAL disappointment.
