The Best Hotel Experience in Dubai

Golden Sands Creek Hotel is truly the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Dubai. The customer service is excellent — genuinely excellent. Every staff member speaks to you with kindness, treats you with respect, smiles, and makes sure you are taken care of from the moment you arrive.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The rooms are clean, the bed is big and cozy, and the breakfast is fantastic with great variety. A special mention to Bety — she is incredibly nice and helpful, and made my stay even better.

The manager is also very nice and takes the time to talk to you, which shows how much they value their guests and pay attention to every detail.

What really stands out is the warm welcome you receive from the front desk. You feel at home immediately because they truly value every guest. It’s refreshing to experience a hotel where hospitality feels sincere and consistent.

I highly recommend Golden Sands Creek Hotel. This is the type of service every hotel should aim for.

It's a good location near Metro also the lobby call for taxi. Close enough to downtown and all the activities.It was a vacation for me. When I checked out at 12:30 my flight was at 1 am when I went back to the hotel to pick up my luggage they let me take a shower in the gym which was very nice. Not as an average Hilton. Very small, dirty, not comfy, very noisy inside and out (Mosque across the road so prepare to wake up very early). The service is the worse part. Do not recommend at all. More like a 2 star motel.

Pleasant stay in excellent Hotel

Our stay was pleasant. We enjoyed everyday with good breakfast. Room was with scenic view giving live movements of boats in creek and live traffic on Banyas Street. Location of the Hotel is very close to Union station and Metro Bus Station from where one can go anywhere in Dubai and Dubai Taxi at the Door round the Clock. Hotel staffs were very well mannered, caring and very much helpful. All services were beyond at par. Room housekeeping was on call basis whenever we wanted. No disturbance at all. Overall stay was memorable and highly recommended for next stay.

Simple and very effective.

The BA flight arrives Dubai very early, so we asked in advance for a 10am check-in, and we waited just an hour in the Executive Lounge until a room was ready. The only problem was that the TV did not work, and even next day the hotel staff could not fix it. So on day 3 we were upgraded to a creek view room. Two nights without TV were certainly worth the remaining 7 with a superb panorama.
The hotel is ideally located a short work from Union metro station and abra (small boat) stops across the Creek. Three times we used the free shuttle to JBR, walked around the beach and marina area, and made our own way back using metro or the Big Bus.
All the staff were courteous and helpful, especially those who sorted our room problem out, and those in the Executive Lounge. The evening buffet was as good as a restaurant so that, as is usually the case with Hilton, booking an executive room is effectively getting half-board, with beer or wine at dinner included.
There is a small heated pool on a roof terrace, and although a few people were lounging in the sun, we had the water to ourselves for a good long swim morning every late afternoon when we returned to the hotel.
All in all, a most enjoyable stay, and quite different from what we saw at the large tourist resorts at Jumeirah.

The staff were extremely polite and very helpful. Having access to the Club lounge was a real bonus with free food and drinks in the evening. The swimming pool was welcome on a hot day. The only down side was the traffic noise and the air pollution which was unpleasant at times.

Nothing was unique about this property. What I dislike was the comforter smelled moldy, the bathroom toilet seat was not clean on arrival, thermostat was not adjustable therefore the room was always cold and the balcony windows had bird poop all over it.
Note: the comforter was changed once I notified them, windows was clean on my last day

So very pleased to have tried the Hilton Dubai Creek, A’s normally stay across the road in another well know hotel. All to often when staying away in the Middle East in general, the AC is too noisy for me at night. Even in more expensive hotels. However the AC here was not disruptive. Also the room itself was well sound proofed from the traffic. Only 2 lifts can be a little frustrating when in a hurry. Cannot comment on table 9 restaurant as it was closed during my stay. However the sports bar food was on the whole was fantastic. Particularly the tiger prawns and also the ribeye steak. Will definitely stay there again as opposed

Roof top pool was fabulous as great views, would imagine a bit small to serve the hotel if very busy. Rooms are incredibly spacious and bathrooms excellent with both bath and separate shower.

The hotel staff are fantastic in every aspect. However the hotel itself is old with visible cracks and worn out facade especially in the bathroom. It badly needs refurbishing and as much as the staff were really great i probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again unless its been refurbished. The hotel feels more like a 3 star than a 5 star hotel. There is also a mosque next to the hotel and my sleep was disturbed most nights and very early in the morning by the call to prayer from the loudspeaker of the mosque.

Perfect for a 24 hour first visit to Dubai

Perfect location for a 24 hour trip to a country we've never been to before. Was able to easily get to places we wanted to see and end up in a perfect location for an easy airport commute during morning rush hour. And most importantly, we were accomodated graciously for an early morning check-in, and upgraded to a suite to boot. A beautiful property.

The service and facilities at the hotel were very good. The area is a bit away from the city area but right on the creek and near some supermarkets, shops and banks.
The hotel has obviously been there for some time judging by the style of lifts - however they worked well. Soundproofing of the rooms was reasonable but we could hear people returning to adjoining rooms.
Overall a good facility with good service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay albeit too short. The view of the night lights of Dubai from the pool bar was spectacular. The only problem we had was the airport pick-up, there was a mix-up by reservations and we didn't make the list. We eventually took a taxi which turned out to be half the price that the hotel would have charged for the pick-up! There were lots of apologies when we arrived and a complimentary transfer to the airport when we departed.

Good choice to be near Dubai Chamber

I enjoyed my first stay at this hotel, having usually stayed elsewhere in the neighborhood. I liked the staff and breakfast especially. My room was oddly shaped and did not have a view (except to the next building). During my stay, there was a wet spot near the bathroom door that would not go away, which was a bit haunting. Also, one morning the power in my room went off, meaning I was awakened by an emergency light - also pretty scary. The problem was resolved after about 1.5 hours, but I needed to call the front desk to push the resolution. The front desk issued a general apology in the form a note about a day later, but no note of it was made on check out.

A very modern hotel, 15 minutes from the airport

As Hilton members we were upgraded to a beautiful large suite with a view of the Dubai Creek and the Burj Khalifa. Only a short 5-10 minute taxi ride to the gold souk and 15 minutes (depending on traffic) to down town Dubai.

Had a one night layover in Dubai thus decided to stay at a hotel close to the airport. Front desk was very welcoming when I checked in past midnight after touching down. Managed to get a room with a nice view of the creek as well. Room condition is what you would come to expect of a business hotel. Paid for breakfast in advance during check-in, but on hindsight I probably would have skipped it (wouldn't really rate it value-for-money).

A lady, assisttant manager guest services?, helped even to find the galery for a painting a saw in the hotel and was interested where it was coming from. Wil recomend your hotel and gladly comen again next time i am in Dubai

This is a great hotel not too far from the airport and near the river. Not close to beach or shopping but you can take a taxi easily. Very modern, clean hotel and rooms. The rooms are very large. The hotel was great getting me an early check in when my flight got in early in the morning. This was so appreciated. The only negative is that the pool area has very limited room with not enough lounges. Those that are there are often not being used but people are 'saving' them with their towels. Also not enough shade if you do get a lounge chair. The only ones under the few shade umberellas are invariably used by people who don't want the shade umberellas up.

Friendly, helpful staff of the highest order

This hotel was a bit of a find for us. The place is modern but really nicely done. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. But what really makes this hotel is the staff – they are always good in Dubai but these all seemed that bit keener to please and always happy.
Nothing was ever too much. The concierge was helpful and rang anyway we wanted to book a table. The breakfast staff were always helpful and only too willing to look after us. The room steward was also that bit extra – it was like being on a cruise.
Two slight draw backs. The pool was nice but needs a bit of maintenance to the pool surround. Also the bar was disappointing. It was as the rest of the hotel – modern. But there was no atmosphere. We found an old style bar nearby and this was packed with people and had an atmosphere.
To be fair the issues above were minimal in comparison to the service and overall experience (and mentioned as much as a pointer for the hotel as much as a negative).
If you want a beach this isn’t for you but the location is authentic Dubai, lovely bot trips, lovely sunsets over the Creek, good centrally and easy location to the Metro if you want to experience true Dubai.
We loved it.

Checked in with a nice creek view room for 6 nites. However the shower room had a unpleasand smell and the tub was dyed with few circles of dirt marks around and palm marks could be found on the glass table, windows. Upon requested, I was arranged to other room on the other night. On the fifth day a lady called in asking about how was my stay, she sounded really rude. Better not to do this survey with this tone. It does not sound welcome!

We had never been to Dubai before and chose Hilton Dubai creek based on reviews rather than location. In actual fact it is not within walking distance of anything and poorly served by local restaurants.
However we had booked two tours and were being picked up, so location was not too much of an issue.

There were problems with the room: blinds didn't work in bathroom, light was out in closet, drain in sink backed up, safe lock was buggy.
Clerk tried to charge in US$ with an extra 4.9% change fee. Driver hired through the hotel tried to overcharge. That said, the room had a fantastic view of Dubai and room service dinner was excellent.

Initial problem with room, eventually resolved

This was our third time at this hotel, and we checked in on my birthday. However, the celebrations were cut short when the room we were initially allocated was discovered to be right next to a noisy lift, very cramped, and smelt heavily of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Reception staff refused to move us, saying we would have to wait until the next day even though my friend has an asthma condition and got no sleep that night. The following morning we were upgraded to a much bigger and nicer room at the other end of the corridor. this experience did sour things a little, but the rest of the stay was excellent. Breakfast buffet is great, staff in the restaurant very efficient.

Very nice location

This was a new travel location for us. I had searched for things to do and found that this hotel offered a chance to walk to the souks and a few restaurants that we wanted to try. Hotel staff was excellent in giving suggestions for additional recommendations. Unknown to us, the tours that we wanted also gave us an opportunity to see the sights and speak with the drivers and other tourists while going to the tours. Perfect rooftop swimming pool for an evening photo shoot and a glass of red.
