This property is very close to the US/CAN border. Their property pictures look much brighter than reality. I upgraded to a “premium” room, which had a back door entrance for convenience to your car. Also, there was a bit of a view of the lake.
There was a super Irish pub walking distance from the hotel just across the parking lot. The food was great and well priced. As far as the room goes, the beds were made, but it didn’t look fresh. There was big pieces of cardboard under the mattress, that’s stuck out from the mattress that you would gash your leg on every time you walked by. My husband’s bed was better in that the board had been pushed in further. There was a definite, strong Deodorizing smell when we first walked in, so I opened the door for a while to air out the room. Also, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane. If you’d like to sleep with noise cancelling sounds, you’ll be in seventh heaven.! staff was lovely and helpful. At least they had a disposable glasses in this place. The last days in we went to in London Ontario didn’t have any glasses at all or cups.!!

When I got the room it was comfortable
But the first thing I noticed was the clean stuff did not clean the bathroom properly because there was a pair of ladies underwear left behind in the shower
And the white curtain and by the window, it's still torn up looks unpresentable but I did let the staff know what happened. And they made a note of it, but other than that.I do love staying at your hotel

There was rain water comming from the exterior entrance door. Was cleaned by the receptionist as soon as I mentioned. Needs some maintenance, to avoid this.
The drain of the sink in the bathroom, was jammed, impossible to open completely, so it couldn't drain.

Parking was easy and i got to park outside my room which was nice. Full breakfast was good. Staff were always nice, polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit cheap feeling and the sheets were pretty worn, but overall i had a good sleep. The room was clean and had no smell, the walls had something like a soda or something sprayed on them that could be wiped off, but it didnt affect my stay. The view out the back windows were very cool. I could see the water between two ships.

Kind staff. Room is ok. Ac unit in the room was not working. So staff changed our room. Next room was ok but the drain in wash basin was blocked which felt disgusting every time I had to use the basin.

This hotel needs a total reboot. My room had holes in the floor, tears in curtains, mould in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay. It was quiet and a good location if you want to be by the water. But there are much better option out there for the same money.

This is an excellent hotel! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The bed was so -- so comfortable. And the surrounding area was beautiful; we had to stop and smell the proverbial roses and take a walk along the pier. We had a wonderful stay in Sarnia thanks to the Days Inn, and we plan to return as a result.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing due to several issues. The biggest problem was that the room I was initially given had bed bugs. I woke up with multiple bites all over my body that became swollen and very uncomfortable. It was extremely disturbing and made me feel unsafe staying in the room. I immediately reported the issue to the staff, and although they did change my room, the experience had already affected my comfort and confidence in the hotel’s cleanliness.

In addition to that, the sink in my room was clogged when I checked in, which was another inconvenience. While maintenance eventually fixed it the next day, it should have been addressed before assigning the room to a guest.

Overall, even though the staff responded by changing the room and fixing the sink, the bed bug problem and maintenance issue made the stay unpleasant. I hope the hotel improves its room inspections, cleanliness standards, and maintenance checks so future guests do not face similar problems.

The staff are nice and friendly. We always recievied a pleassnt greeting from the front desk or from the breakfast room staff...it was welcoming and inviting.

The price was good...not at all expensive. It was reasonable and quite affordable.

The rooms are simple...nothing fancy but clean. Beds are very comfortable. If you need any extra towels or bathroom supplies, just ask and they will provide it right away.

We had a room that had direct access to the parking lot and that was convenient. My husband and I didn’t have to go through the lobby and hotel hallway to unload or load up our car.

We had online check-in that was convenient since we arrived late after driving through a very bad winter storm for 11 hours. We just needed to pick up our keys and head to our room.

My husband and I were there to visit his sick parents in the hospital and the hotel was a pleasant refuge during a stressful time.

Thank you Wyndham Sarnia Harbourfront for the stay. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for place to stay in Sarnia.
