Nice room, great location. No laundry on-site, housekeeping was very good but a little inconsistent. Prepare to experience long waits for the single elevator, especially in the morning. Stairs are not available.

For 24hours, you can constantly hear the metro on the tracks every 3 minutes. The cars, the honking - everything! There is no sound insulation at all. If you can believe it, they gave us 4 different rooms, even on the side further from the metro, but it made no difference.
Light comes through the blinds, so you can't rest well either. It was awful.

The cleaning staff are required by hotel policy to clean almost daily, so no one will respect your sleep hours if you want to rest later.

Good APA hotel, very close to the station (Tozai Line). A positive experience, except the room was dusty. There is only one elevator, so it can be extremely busy/full at check out time.

Great stay and super convenient location for the Tozai Line, only weird part was that I booked a double just for myself due to availability and every day I got a new bag of amenities for two so ended up with a huge surplus of bags I needed to find space for.

I always enjoy my stay at the Apa chain. The staff were all very accomadating and helpful.
The room was overly warm, even when I turned on the air-con, set it to the lowest possible number (16°C) it was still set as heat. I could not change it to cool or even only fan.

Hotel is conveniently located close to Iidabashi station which takes you pretty much anywhere you wanna go in Tokyo. Akihabara is only a few stops away. Lots of places to eat around the area, very quiet and clean rooms.
It is a business hotel in Tokyo so expect very very small rooms with room to only open 1 luggage at a time on the floor. Towels and robes are refreshed daily. We didn't need a towel change daily, but it was much appreciated!

As can be expected from the APA chain, facilities seem to be almost identical inside ( a good thing for the frequent traveler). Rooms are very clean, easy no contact check out, and breakfast option for an additional charge. The hotels are also very close to the train stations too.
One minus not with just APA, but all Japanese hotels is need to fill out paperwork at check in. Presumably they have all this information already (address/phone number) since I book online and I feel its a waste of my time when all I need is the room key. Digital keys would be even better!

We returned to this hotel due to good experience a year ago and this time we booked 5 nights. However we find the standard of room cleaning varied each day which made us wonder has the training and auditing been viligent. The smoking room continued to leave slight stench smell which was not so a year ago. We were so impressed then. This time the room refresher spray provided appeared to be just plain water. Couldn’t get rid of smoke smell at all and it was bad as APA room is generally very small. It felt like the freshener was diluted with water so not effective at all. In the end, we had to buy room freshener from supermarket to get rid of the cigarette smell. In addition, some items were not replaced and not meticulously placed (which is what is impressive of Japanese culture) on some days.

Very close to the subway station and JR line so it was very easy to get around. There's a few bubble tea places and convenience stores nearby for when we came back in between our day trips. The staff cleaned up the rooms while we were gone. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they seemed to note things I used up or needed like an extra dust bin, the washroom freebies like hair ties, toothpaste etc and provided me with more each day. Easy check-in and check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel.

People may say that the hotel rooms are small but they are exactly what you need. I’ve enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It’s been a great experience. The staff are amazing, accommodating and helpful. This place is equipped with everything you need. There is a train line right in front of the hotel which made it so much easier and gave us less walking to places that we needed to go.

We were giving a smoking room after the front desk had told us no smoking. The room absolutely reaked if smoke and there was ash on the desk. We went down stairs to speak to a manager and was told (through a translator) that the hotel was fully booked and that we could not get a refund to go elsewhere. He then said “I don’t care if we get a horrible review... no refund”

We wanted to stay in a quieter part of Tokyo and this place fit the bill. The hotel itself is great. Very clean, though the room is small by western standards. The service was outstanding. The breakfast isn't fancy, but it worked for us both mornings we were there. Would stay again.

The room is extremely small and I struggled to find a place to put my suitcase. However they had good facilities and everything seems to be in the right place. I arrived early on the day and there is nowhere for me to wait at the lobby, they told me the room is ready but I had to pay extra for going in earlier when it is obvious that no one is going to the room.

This was a typical Japanese business hotel with not much room. However, the bathroom had a lot more space than other business hotels, so that was a plus. Place is clean and conveniently located in Tokyo, so easy to get to places from there via subway or JR lines.
