My room was clean but small. The hotel is centrally located. Taxi to Ginza was under 3000 yen. Two metro stations within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is affordable & very good. There is a bakery in the hotel, a Starbucks across the street. A small family mart inside the hotel & a larger one across. The staff is so helpful & polite.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Edmont. The hotel rooms were very clean and surprisingly spacious, providing a highly comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring.

The location is absolutely great, especially if you are a first-time visitor to Japan. It sits in an area where connectivity to both the west and east parts of Tokyo is incredibly convenient, making sightseeing completely stress-free.

there are lots of places to eat within a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. On top of that, the hotel’s own restaurant has a great menu with excellent options. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I had a very good stay at Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Edmont. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated the location. The hotel is in a central area of Tokyo with easy access to shops, markets, and restaurants. I enjoyed being able to walk around the neighborhood and even take a longer walk to Akihabara, which gave me a chance to explore the city and its surroundings.

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything I needed, especially during the hot, sunny days in Tokyo. Overall, this is a very convenient and pleasant hotel.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Very attentive to your every need, and always kind and smiling. Loved their professionalism and kindness!! Rooms were clean and they have several great restaurants inside the hotel and surrounding area within walking distance. There is a 24 hour mini market across the street if you need any thing, and a great little bakery right up the street (great egg salad breakfast sandwiches). Just a lovely stay!!

My family’s stay at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo was amazing. Having a FamilyMart right across the street and a 7-Eleven just behind the hotel made it incredibly convenient to purchase food, drinks, daily essentials, and anything else we needed during our stay.

One feature we especially appreciated was the hotel’s large laundry machines, which were much more practical than the small machines commonly found in many other hotels.

The hotel is also in an excellent location, with easy access to some of Tokyo’s most famous attractions, including the Tokyo Imperial Palace, Tokyo Dome, and Tokyo Skytree. Getting around the city was simple and convenient.

Overall, our experience was unforgettable, and we’re so glad we chose Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo for our family trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

We had a great stay! The area was quiet but had things nearby like many restaurants. The hotel was very close to the train stations and not too far on the train from different areas in Tokyo. They helped arrange our luggage transfer to Kyoto. The only thing missing was an iron in the room (you have to go to the lounge where the laundry machines are).

They should also offer shuttle services from airports, to a few point of interest places and perhaps Disney Tokyo? Subway is close but if its your first time it can be overwhelming to try to figure out all the lines.

The room was tiny, even by Tokyo standards, with no storage at all (there was a folded suitcase rack but nowhere to open it and still pass thru the room). The bathroom OTOH felt spacious and was very comfortable. As in many Japanese hotels the mattress is really hard, we slept over rather than under the comforter and then it was fine for us. The hotel has a good breakfast buffet of both continental and Japanese dishes. It is similar to other Japanese hotels we’ve been to. What’s unique to this hotel is that they have a very nice and convenient laundry room which doubles as a lounging area. It was very nice. The machines do both wet and dry and their availability is reported on the room’s TV (haven’t seen that before).

First time in Tokyo and this hotel was a great experience. Quietly tucked away from the busy streets of the city , it’s quiet and peaceful with numerous local restaurants and shops nearby. The facilities are great and I made good use of the ice maker machine . The staff were super friendly and the rooms while small, has everything you need. Highly recommend for its price and location.

This hotel is really fantastic for the price. It's a short walk to two different train stations so the location is quiet but accessible. We arrived on the tail end of a typhoon and they were quick to towel dry our suitcases and offer umbrella bags. Everyone was very hospitable. The hotel room has plenty of free toiletries so no need to worry about forgetting a razor, toothbrush, or anything else. They have them. If you run out of anything, they will bring more in a timely manner. The room wasn't huge, but compared to other hotels in tokyo, it is much more spacious. The AC worked well in our room in the main building and the many lights in the room are all controllable easily from a panel on the wall on both sides of the beds. Minifridge does not have a freezer section. TV allows for screen sharing from your device so we were able to stream from our phones onto the television. There's a FamilyMart convenience store immediately across the street for snacks and such. I wish the hotel had some sort of ice bucket or pitcher in the room though. They had an ice machine on the 4th floor along with vending machines, but no way to contain the ice. They also had tons of washer/dryer combos and irons and steamers on the 4th floor in a community space which was great for wrinkled luggage clothes.

LOVED IT! I read review after review to figure out where to stay and of course there were negative things about this place, but I was so happy I didn't let those negative things stop us. We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds and linens were beyond comfy. I loved how we could Crack open our windows for fresh air at night and it was very quiet outside. The rooms were very sound proof. We barely heard a thing. The showers had great water pressure and I loved how large the bathrooms were. They even had a spot for me to place my makeup bag and hair curler on. I liked how there is a sitting area in the room, and how our large suitcases could fit under the bed. We also loved the endless free bottled water! The staff are amazing. Always smiling and greeting us and eager to help. Most spoke English. There is a bakery in the hotel, you must try the cream bun! There is also a convenience store and a 7/11 right through the courtyard into the building behind. Also a Family Mart in front! There is a train/subway station in walking distance and lots of restaurants to walk to! I would definitely stay here again! It's a beautiful place to lay your head after a busy day touring Japan. We were able to get around from here to many areas of Tokyo. Definitely stay here!

The rooms were well designed and comfortable, yes they are small, but this is Japan and it's a good size. The staff were always polite and helpful. There is a laundry room, it gets busy so choose your time.
They also have a few microwaves if you want to cook a snack and an eating area. The Gym is reasonable and matches typical Hotel Gyms..
There are coffee shops and a few restaurants a quick 2 minutes walk from the Hotel and plenty of seats outside, I loved a coffee in the morning and sitting outside the hotel, which is pretty and quiet, a calm start to the day.
There are family mart and 7 -11's nearby and the Metro station is a 5 minute walk.. Taxis are generally available during the day and park outside the main entrance.
The reception area is large with plenty of seating and was a popular meet for the various groups that were there.
Check in is 3pm, but if you are early, they will store your luggage. It's a great hotel and enjoyed my stay there.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the hotel provided everything needed for a comfortable visit.
The main drawback was the room size. Even for Tokyo, the rooms felt quite small, which may be challenging for guests with larger luggage or those staying for an extended period.
The staff were polite and friendly. While some requests were handled more effectively than others, they were always courteous and made an effort to assist.
Breakfast was good, although I would describe it as slightly above average rather than exceptional. There was a decent variety of options, and it was a convenient way to start the day.
The hotel is not located in the heart of the city, but transportation is very convenient. Several metro (Iidabashi) and train (JR) stations are within a short walking distance, making it easy to reach Tokyo's major attractions.
While the hotel did not particularly stand out compared with some other places I have stayed, it offered good value, a comfortable experience, and reliable access to public transportation.

We had a 10 day stay here from the US. This was the perfect location, near the baseball stadium and away from the more busy areas of Tokyo. But, it was close to all the train and subway stations and walking distance to some outstanding restaurants. We also loved the Carousel Bar downstairs with the friendly staff for drinks after a long day exploring and shopping.
The laundry room was convenient and the vending machine there had a nice selection of cold beers we also added the breakfast to our stay, which was a nice selection of items (udon soup and fish was my favorite).

Amazing hotel. Staff spoke good English and were exceptionally helpful at check in. We arrived early from our flight and able to deposit cases with an express check in at 3.00pm. Room was equipped with more than needed and the location enabled us to visit all our shortlist of attractions conveniently via the train network. Highly recommend a stay.
