The address was very hard to find. I got lost and went to the wrong site. Then had to walk 20min to get to the right hotel. The rooms are much smaller than they look online.

Absolutely love this hotel and this area, we have stayed here 3 times now. Great location, very peaceful but within easy reach of the metro system to be connected to the rest of Tokyo.
Staff are always friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and although rooms can be on the smaller side, they are well kept with good facilities.

The hotel was in a great location! Short walk to 2 stations for those that are travelling and adventuring around a lot. The area is quiet and close to loads of restaurants. 15 mins on the train to Shibuya and the hotel was clean, room was really good for price and the staff were helpful

The staff was helpful however, we had to move our room because it reeked of cigarette smoke. Even if you are not on the smoking floors, you can smell it in the hallways and possibly your room. The place is very brown and dull, it feels dirty.

Since I love Jimbocho, its location is perfect for me! all the bookstores and cafes I planned to visit are just a few steps away, 3 metro train lines are nearby as well, I wasn't feeling quite well but I could go back to hotel for a rest easily, just 15mins to Shibuya on Hanzomon line. The room I stayed was quite clean and comfy enough, but the ventilation in the bathroom wasn't good, wet towel wasn't dried up at all overnight, it left some unpleasant musty smell; amenities are plenty, i especially love the sweet black tea and all the bath salt. It was a shame about the ventilation problem in the bathroom, because apart from that, I really liked the experience! hope it can be improved, I would like to stay there again.

I've used this hotel company before and haven't been this disappointed before. The staff were welcoming and kind but the facilities were dust-covered. My AC was spitting dust. There was dust coming from the air purifier. The carpet and behind the TV was dusty. The bathroom had hair on the floor. The bed feel damp and dusty. I won't be using this location again. Jimbocho station is close but difficult to get to from Tokyo station. Ochanomizu station feels like a long walk in the summer heat. The bookstores, food, and 2nd hand shops are the hotel were amazing but I don't think I'd recommend the hotel because of the cleanliness.

Nice and clean, but WiFi service shockingly bad...

Great place but the WiFi was TERRIBLE. Being an avid business traveller this is a must for me and getting 600kb download speeds (when it was actually working) just killed the stay for me.
They have a very insecure network (SSID same as password) which I think they need to take a long hard look at and fix before they lose customers

Good Hotel close to Tokyo Station

This is a good hotel close to Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. The room is small but has everything you need in it. We found it very comfortable and the little bathtub suited us as we are small. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was not that good and was next door at the Little Mermaid restaurant and consisted most of 3 different buns and a tiny yogurt. This could be improved upon. Also we had to leave early to catch a flight and they would not give us the buns ahead of the official breakfast time. They could have put them in a bag the night before but said I would have to buy them even though I had a voucher. This was the only complaint. They stored our luggage for us for two weeks. Lots of restaurants and shops all around the hotel. Overall I would recommend it. Reasonable price.

Small but very convenient place to stay

The Inn was a good choice. Good location. Many small local eating places for reasonably priced choice of meals. Several metro stations within walking distance. The locality is good for winter sport clothes and equipment. Breakfast was three different types of buns, a salad and a minute pot of yoghurt which was more than enough for me. The double room was very small but Would recommend the place if you are not expecting a 4/5 star accommodation.

The room was really very tiny so we immediately requested for an upgrade to another room. Thank God it was available. The room was cosy. Love the hudmifier, make the room less dry. The location is good as there are many great cafes/ restaurants around! It’s in the middle of a really pretty n quaint street with many convenience marts. This place is a bit tucked behind from the nearby major street and so it's relatively quiet except for Friday evening when a larger number of drunk people are walking around till late. Close to multiple subway stations and a JR station. Very convenient location if you know your way around Tokyo.

The breakfast option is a voucher at the bakery next door on the ground floor. So, if you are looking for full breakfast, this option is not for you.

Fantastic hotel! Rooms are clean and spacious, hotel staff are polite and professional, bed was so comfortable we almost didn't want to get up in the mornings.

Breakfast was great as well. Breakfast coupon for the bakery next door. We get a basket of 5 types of bread every morning, a small cup of yogurt, and free flow coffee. Bags are provided for takeaway if you can't finish the bread.

I really liked the hotel and the location. It is close to a good metro station that gets you anywhere quickly and the neighbourhood is nicely mixed with plenty of good restaurants and an excellent coffee shop plus some late night supermarkets. The room was, of course, small but the bed was v comfy and the room had everything that i needed. Wifi is good.

Great small hotel that meets the basic needs of a traveler. Plus side is the shared amenities such as the washing machine and dryer for those who needs to do a bit of washing during their travels. The hotel is very centrally located, near to jimbocho station. It’s clean and has lots of amenities such as bath salts, tea and coffee and face masks. The hotel rooms are a little small but completely in line with what you find in Tokyo. There’s a 100 yen shop opposite the hotel and a few cafes and a restaurants immediately around the hotel. I would stay again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Very nice hotel with excellent service

The hotel locates on a silent street that makes me feel so relaxing. There is a local train station nearby , I can go anywhere with no difficulty. The staff are polite and most of them can communicate with fluent English. That is so important to me as I don't speak in Japanese. The cleaning service is very good too and they keep my hotel room clean everyday.

Excellent choice to stay in Tokyo. Happy to get spring mattress (it's common in Japan to get extra firm futon-like mattress) and love the shower (but I wouldn't recommend it for large/tall people). Room is small (often the case in Japan) but I was traveling solo and that was not a problem. Super clean (like everything in Japan). Window had a good view of the city and location was excellent. Tons of great restaurants and bookstores. 5 - 10 min walk to train stations. I would stay here again :)

The hotel was nice enough. There were lots of shops/restaurants nearby and it was close to JR Ochanomizu station. Although the room was quite small, there was enough space to keep suitcases and it was well-equipped with fridge, kettle, humidifier and air-con. There were good amenities in the bathroom although the bath itself was a little short by UK standards. The hotel also had a coin laundry. Breakfast was served in the Little Mermaid cafe next door.

Great home base for a Japan vacation!

We had a great stay at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn. Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly, and there were plenty of English-speakers on staff which was very helpful for us! Room was a bit small, but we found it very comfortable and clean, and since we were out sightseeing most of our stay, it really wasn’t an issue at all. the location was excellent - conveniently located near several subway stations, and only a 10 minute cab ride from Tokyo station! the neighborhood was lovely, lots of great restaurants. Would recommend highly!

Excellent hotel in a great location.

This hotel is centrally location close to the Imperial Palace and the Tokyo Dome. The hotel rooms, although small, are well equipped and extremely clean. The hotel staff our fluent and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for tourists visiting the Tokyo area.
