The hotel room was really clean and tidy. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was great with healthy options as well. There is a Family Mart store next door and lots of restaurants to choose from.

When my partner and I got off at the train station on Sunday, there was a protest outside the station against immigration. We had no idea and felt quite unsafe as we witnessed a near physical altercation. While this is not the hotel’s fault or doing, I think it is important for overseas travellers to be aware and be prepared.

Good location. Close (within 10 minutes walk) to Ochanomizu, Yushima, and sushi to-chi stations. Convenience store next door. Fair number of restaurants including a good French place just down the street. Large temples and shrines nearby. Rooms are tiny but clean. Small refrigerator with in room. Very complicated sink/shower fixture that took a while to figure out. Staff friendly. On the downside, staff seems to know little about the surrounding area and I got towels delivered each night although I told them I didn’t need new ones. That said, affordable and just fine if all you need is a place to sleep and will be spending most of your time out and about.

Great clean, affordable, convenient to 7-11 and metro stations, dining and shops. It's small but it was fine for us. It was a bit hot at night sometimes but doable. Can't control the temperature because it's central air but the front desk gave my daughter's a portable fan to put in their room and it made the room temperature better. Staff was friendly and check in and out was smooth. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Tokyo!

You can’t check in early without a fee, possibly even early at all without notifying them. However, you can store your luggage there for free, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. We utilized the laundry facilities and it would’ve been nice if there was even one other machine as there is only one washer and one dryer, but it did the job. The area around the hotel is nice, it’s a short walk to the Don Quixote in Akihabara, and there is a Family Mart right next to the hotel itself. However, I had a large check in bag and a carry on bag and had to lug it up multiple stairs and up a slight hill from the train station, so just be warned that it is a trek from the train station to the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was just like all the APA locations I stayed at! It was cleaner than the one in Osaka and it was more modern looking. The staff were polite and helpful.

I would not recommend staying here. There were so many little annoying things about our room (a Queen bed room) that it definitely had a negative impact on our stay. For instance, the A/C is controlled by the building, and so even though we didn't turn the heater on, it was unbearably hot every night. Other issues included: there only being outlets on one side of the bed; the toilet is so cramped against the sink, wall, and door, it was uncomfortable; the shower head (wand) wouldn't ever point in the right direction, etc; it could have been much cleaner, etc.

There is a charge ¥1000/hrs if check in early than 3pm and/or check out later than 10am. What a surprise for 10am check out? (through the extra charge is not that bad). And you get called on the hour for extra charge (I got called at 10 & 11 twice)

Consistent APA Hotel quality
As we stayed a few different APA Hotels, we are happy about an overall quality of their product (hardware & software) -- although we observed a minor difference in service. For example, another APA Hotel we stayed accommodated people before the check-in time starts whereas this APA Hotel asked us to wait until exactly 3 PM for check-in (no complaint BTW). Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and quite happy about their service. Especially, on demand room cleaning was great as they hang a plastic bag with new towels and necessary goods every day when we chose not to clean the room. Moreover, a small refrigerator in the room was great and microwave at the 1st floor was very useful. Of course, because we are in the middle of Tokyo, the room was small -- good for a solo person however quite honestly pretty tight for two. Furthermore, since the hotel has 12 stories high, we sometimes waited quite a long time to catch the elevator (people for daily room cleaning carrying a bulky stuffs also use the same elevator). However, these \"minor\" issues can easily be offset by the positive side of this hotel. We have no hesitation to pick another APA Hotel when we returned to Japan in the future. Thank you very much.

Property is upscale and nice. We ended up accidentally booking a smoking room, and the smell was noticable, but only for a few minutes and not overwhelming. Not the hotels fault but mine. If we had been in a non-smoking room I'm sure they'd be even better.

Been staying at this hotel dozens of times, it is my to-go property. Clean, very nice staff, wifi is very good for working, pillow could be softer but blanket is the most comfortable Ive ever seen.
Only problem with most hotels in Japan is the AC thats turned to heat way too early in the year to way too late (cant control heat vs cool) so its a pain to sleep in the months before and after summer, AC also doesn't go low enough for the hell temperature they have in Japan peak summer.
This hotel also accomodates my no-cleaning needs every time! It is close enough to Akiba to be able to walk as well as being close to the chuo-line and metro lines (ginza and more) to be able to go anywhere pretty quickly, overall a very convenient location while not being too close to the masses!

Good hotel, perfect size for when you only need a place to sleep and work a bit, wifi is very good. The only problem is that the AC is centralized so they turn it to heat when its still 20c outside and you cant cool off (opening the window doesnt do much when its that hot and a lot of traffic = noise). The covers are very soft and fluffy, but the pillow is kinda hard.

As usual, a pleasure to stay there, it has become my central hub when staying in Tokyo as its prefectly located near Akiba and Ochanomizu station to move everywhere, by walking or transit. When we arrived , upon check in, the receptionist wasn’t so friendly. She was pissed with us cause we didn’t understand her English. ( she couldn’t speak English) her attitude was very rude and impolite. I don’t understand why she works as a hotel receptionist if she treats us like a refugee. She is the one wearing eye-glasses. I forgot to get her name.

The hotel was good. It is only a short walk from the Akihabara area while maintaining an affordable price. There is a restaurant connected to the lobby and the closest convenience store is 30 seconds away by foot. The free razor blades were the best I've ever used.
One important point: The halls that separate the hotel rooms is open to the elements. When you get off the elevator or walk out of your room, it will be blazing hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

I had never stayed in APA hotel and was a bit worried when booking it for a trip to Japan with my teen-age daughter however it was the best choice for us! The room was exceptionally clean, staff very polite and accommodating. Were ready to help at all times. It’s walking distance to everything. Akihabara is steps away. The price is exceptional for the quality! Keep in mind the rooms are small but very functional and traveling in Japan is not about staying in the room. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. We continued using APA hotels throughout our travel to different cities. Thank you for the service!

The hotel was in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from the busy Akihabara. Very convenient. Room was very clean with nice Shiseido amenities. It was a tad small for two people but we only paid around $70CAD so quite reasonable given the price. I would stay again. We didn’t pay for the breakfast buffet as there were many shops to eat at for cheap and there was a 7-11 and family mart closeby. Would stay again

As advertised on Orbitz this hotel has air conditioning. Once checked in and try to turned the AC on and what it was blowing heat. I called the front only to be told that there is no ac just heat and open the door and the window to cool down.
