Nice business hotel in Tennoji area of Osaka. The rooms are a bit small if you have a suitcase with you that you need to unpack. Rooms are clean and have most amenities required. Train station is close by, but awkward to get to with suitcases.

Staff was extremely helpful and provided great service. Didn’t realize the hotel was right next to the train tracks, so it was quite loud when trying to rest at night. We left the window open to let in cool air as the heater was too warm for our liking. Overall an affordable and decent stay to say the least.

Amazing stay

The hotel was really clean and comfortable. I was in Osaka for 5 days and this hotel was perfect for a single person, it’s close to the train station and surrounded by lots of shopping malls and restaurants. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who are visiting Japan.

I booked a double bed room and the bed was so small that it was comical. Luckily it was just for me because if I was sharing with another person larger than a toddler one of us would be on the floor! The bedding itself was pretty rough and of a very low quality. I would recommend spending a couple thousand yen more on a better hotel unless you plan on passing out in the room.

Mediocre hotel for the price

We were given a smoking room which smelled of smoke residue. We were told that the hotel was fully booked and could not give us another room. Also, I believe our reservation stated we had 3 people for the room but the room had 2 pillows and 2 towels.

Location is excellent but the rooms are very small. We had 2 people in our room with no closet space or drawers. For storage there were just 3 pegs on the wall with hangers on them. Small bathroom, only about 6 inches between the 2 beds and and both beds are against a wall so there is no space to walk around the bed. The hot water pot in the room was nice and there is a mini fridge. Not a good hotel for families due to lack of space but a nice hotel if you are travelling by yourself.

Awesome as usual

Ive always loved staying at APA hotels. Service is awesome as usual but this time, the room isnt as clean as the past few times. There were oily hand prints on the headboard of the bed which i felt was a big nono. Apart from that, the stay was splendid. Comfy bed, convenient location which was just a 3mins walk to both the JR and Kintetsu stations.

Bed not big enough for 2 adults +1 small child.

We used the hotel.com website to search for accommodation for 3 rooms, for two families (each with 2 adults + 1 kid) + one room for a single adult. Perhaps it was our bad for not noticing the fine print, but when we arrived we realized it was a 120cm wide bed, obviously too small to sleep 2 adults and 1 child comfortably. We trusted the search engine to find something comfortable for us after putting in our requirements but this was a really bad experience and we didn't sleep well on our last night in Osaka. The hotel concierge also told us that they have only two double rooms and one single room available for us, but the three rooms ended up looking exactly the same (we felt like we have been allocated three of their single rooms).

Great location, but Issues abound.

Checkin at 3.00pm is hopeless Lobby is small, so luggage storage is hard, and when you have been travelling/flying long hours, earlier access to the room would be better. The rooms are quite small, eg, if you have two medium/large suitcases, you have to take it in turns to open them, as not enough space for both at the same time. Staff are friendly and try their hardest, but in our case, we needed English language, it was very hard with communication, even though we have basic Japanese.
Very close though to Tennojji Rail hub, Q's Mall Shopping Centre, and numerous small shops, so picking up breakfasts/snax etc really easy.

The staff did not tell us the air-conditioner is broken until we called. We originally booked a non-smoking room and they do not have any vacancy so we were finally moved to smoking room. Very small room. Disappointing.

The location is good as it is located near the Tennoji station. Like most Japanese hotel, the room is small. It is ideal only for an overnight stay.

Excellent location for exploring the local area.

Perfectly placed for Tennoji Zoo, the Tsutenkaku district and Tennoji station. From the station we used the Osaka loop line for getting around the city and other direct trains to branch out to Nara, Kyoto and Universal Studios. This hotel is excellently located and the cosy room included everything we needed for our week in Osaka. The small double bed was plenty big enough for the two of us too!

Bad bed Small roomsize & Terrible sound blocking

Bed mattress is no supportive for our backs, we felt more exhausted after a long day sightseeing every morning.
The aisle is so narrow and 1 person is not allowed to move if the other is using the mirror or standing in the aisle.
Each morning I can hear the cleaning activities outside the door and it is not a good hotel for someone who would like to sleep quietly.
Also we placed the sign for not cleaning my room, the staff placed 2 packs of refill outside our room. At the check out date I have 6 bags of refill items outside the room.
Overall we will not recommend this hotel to any one I know, and this hotel location is the only Pro for those who love shopping at Tennoji.

Everything was wonderful but their restaurant isn’t worth having at all. Lunch is like 6 sets of the same food mixed up , dinner is MAYBE 5 entrees. No appetizers or anything that would drive me to want to eat dinner there. Also the smell of the hotel was a weird musk. But the staff were nice.

ヨドコウ桜スタジアムでサッカー天皇杯を観戦、翌日は大阪関西万博に始発で行きたかったので、ここを選びました。ベッドに寝転ぶとちょうど大きな画面のTVが見られるのは快適でした。
連泊した時のタオルの補充にフットマットが無かったのと、最初のアメニティーには綿棒が無かった（補充時はあった）のが気になりましたが、評価を下げるほどではありません（フロントに言えばくれますし）。

遅くまでの仕事の後に疲れて到着。元々近隣によく行くので便利だと思って選んだが、フロントの若い女性の対応が上から目線に感じた上に笑顔も全く無し。ウェルカム感が皆無でかなり残念に感じた。（隣で他のお客さんに対応されていた女性はとても感じが良かった）
部屋は想像以上に狭く、裏を走る電車の音もよく聞こえてなかなか寝付けなかった。
ベッドも浴室もとてもキレイで、そこは満足したが、部屋着が色褪せた昭和感満載の浴衣でガッカリ。あとジャンプー等の匂いが外国製のもののように香りがきつかったので、日本の男性には嫌がられるかと思う。

天王寺駅近くにあり、商業施設などたくさんあり、ご飯のためのお店選びも楽しみながらできました。宿泊後は伊丹空港に向かったのですが、リムジンバス乗り場がホテルの通り真向かいにあり、個人的に非常に便利でした。アパホテルは初めて利用しましたが、コスパがとても良いですね。今度どこかへ旅行する時もアパホテルを中心に探そうと思います。

大阪万博の帰りの宿泊

大阪万博の帰りに利用させて頂きました。
交通の便も大変良くスタッフの方の対応も良くて選んで正解満足でした。
夜の飲食が遅くなり外出しました近くの商業施設のテナントが22時で終わられますので近くのコンビニで食べ物を購入しました。
