Wonderful stay, loved the room with the mini kitchen. We didn’t think we would use it but it did make like so convenient! The breakfast was absolutely lovely and they packed us a takeaway when our flight didn’t allow for a sit down breakfast. Sweet staff, lovely hotel, would definitely book and stay again!

I enjoyed at Tints of Blue Hotel overall. Nice design for lobby, common area, and the room. Everything is clean. Maybe if they offers one welcome drink instead of charging once ordered one cold dring upon arrival from hot outside, it may increase satisfaction. But it's just a suggestion.

One thing which really need to be improved is the tile on shower booth floor. It was very very slippery and I actually almost fell and hit my head and elbow to the glass partition. glad that I could barely hold on. It was very scarely and dangerous. Also a lot of water comes out from shower booth to the other area of bathroom.
Need to be take care of.

Charming Hotel by River

The hotel is charming and close to the river and eateries. At first we were a little taken aback by the distance from the main road, but it turned out not to matter. We mostly used Grab for getting around, the hotel had a shuttle service than ran every 20 minutes, and our son didn't mind walking it.

Quiet stay in the city

My stay was great at Tints of Blue. The room was spacious and relaxing. They also offer tuktuk from the hotel to the main road which is super convenient, with pickup from the main road too. It's a short 5-10 min walk, but either way, a convenient option when you're too tired.

Breakfast had a great variety from western to Thai dishes and the coffee was excellent.

The hotel is quietly tucked in at the end of an alleyway, making it for a very peaceful and quiet stay.

Easily my favourite hotel - perfect

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and I can confidently say Tints of Blue is now my favourite. Practically, the location is close to Sukhumvit yet far enough away to be quiet. The tuktuk shuttle is super handy. The coin-operated laundrette was a lifesaver and the gym - while very simple - was enough to get a decent workout in. The pool is small but cute, enough for a splash while you take in the view. Breakfast was so good, the freshly made egg dishes were delicious and the coffee fantastic - and that’s coming from an ex-barista! The decor is exceptional too - the entire hotel is beautiful to look at, the rooms so well planned and appointed in a boutique style. I enjoyed exploring all the small details. But where the hotel shines is the service and staff: everyone was so friendly and helpful (as is the Thai way) as well as efficient. I ended up having nice conversations with many of the staff, just like friends would. They even made me a packed breakfast without me asking for my incredibly early ride out to the airport. I really felt happy being there and coming back after a day out to chat and laugh. I heard some minor noise through the wall once, but it wasn’t bad enough to disturb me. The room even had a bath!

After this stay I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else in Bangkok - perfect!! 💕well done team, especially jackfruit!

Love staying here. Bed is amazing! The mattress topper is so comfortable. The rooftop pool is very chill and the little gym is nice for a decent workout. The breakfast in the morning is great, not huge but it fills you up. I like staying here when I'm in town and will continue to stay here.

Mixed review from me as the hotel is fine - however we had a screaming baby in the room next to us and had to check out of the hotel at 9.30pm our first night due to the noise..... a change of room was offered but not to the same level as booked...

They refunded the booking but only after I had to go via the booking agency and chase the refund.

Cute boutique hotel. Awkward location.

Tints of Blue is a modern boutique hotel. Each room is uniquely decorated. The room size is adequate. As a newer hotel, the room is modern and clean.

Pros: the bedding is comfortable. WiFi is fast and reliable. The room was stocked with a use able kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave). Nearly on demand Tuk Tuk (driver) to the nearest main Road (also see BELOW CON)

Cons: one side of the hotel is facing a construction site. Air conditioning directly blows onto the bed. Washroom shower head needs a cleaning, as it was spraying water everywhere except straight down. The sink faucet had too much water pressure and easily splashed.

Notes of Concern: Hotel is quite deep inside a warren of very narrow streets. The Tuk Tuk pickup is every hour, until 11pm at night. It is possible to walk to the hotel from the main Road (Sukhumvit Road), but I would not advise it.

It’s not so easy to find it the first time and taxi drivers want to drop you somewhere else. Ten minutes walk to nearest BTS station.

I like how it's tucked away in a quiet area. I like the free breakfast included when you purchase any room. Many healthy good choices also for breakfast. The staff is very helpful and speak english well. My only dislikes are the water to take a shower is only room temperature and (my) bed anyway was quite lumpy and uncomfortable.

An uneven lane lead me to the end of it finally arrived the hotel (dark lane in the evening). Constructions in front of window... not so clear information for breakfast at site.
It's a quiet and designed little place of you want a peaceful holiday.

Pleasing boutique hotel with spacious rooms and excellent bed. Breakfast is simple but nice.Staff are very friendly and quick to assist. The security guard who doubles as the tuk tuk driver is especially kind. The only downsides are that it’s down an alley and a bit of a walk to the main road if the tuk tuk isn’t available. On the other hand, this distance is also a charm point. In terms of noise, there is construction going around much of the area, but this is typical of Bangkok there days. Unfortunately, during my visit quite a large and noisy party booked several rooms. Otherwise, most guests are pretty laid back. It seemed popular with couples.

Would not stay here again

We stayed here on the last night of our two week honeymoon. To begin with, the staff was not very kind from the initial check-in. Then we were not able to check-in when we arrived, due to it being too early, but we still wanted somewhere to get cleaned up and dressed before exploring Bangkok.
The only place available was an indoor/outdoor shower and fitness room with no air conditioning.
It's quite difficult to feel refreshed after \"getting ready\" in 30*C plus humidity. In addition, every other hotel we stayed at during our honeymoon left a kind note in our room congratulating us. Not one care was given, despite the mention of it, at Tints of Blue. While I only mention these few things, the entire experience of staying here was dismal. The hotel is down an abandoned looking alley and across from what appears to be a junk yard. The meal offerings are slim. All in, I would not stay here again.

A little oasis of green and beautiful touches in the middle of a crazy area. The only thing that needs improvement is the emailed instructions on how to find the hotel as it is of the main road (the tuk tuk service is great at taking you to Sukhumvit Road). Loved the treats left in the room for me.

The is a boutique hotel and has only 7 floors. The swimming pool and gym room are on the roof. Although the swimming pool is not big but it is still worth to try. The double deluxe room is spacious. As it is a residence, there are induction cooker and microwave in the room which are really convenient.
The staff are nice and helpful. Simple breakfast is provided every day. Although the varieties are not as many as a big hotel, we were very satisfied with them. Will stay in this hotel again when I go to Bangkok next time.

Super hip Sunset Boulevard type hotel in Bangkok.

A wonderful stay! Truly a “hip hotel” just off the main road about a 10-12 minute walk to the Asoke station and Terminal 21. Small yet quaint with 7 types of themed rooms decorated. Nice breakfast with omelets and eggs made on demand. Clean and wonderful service. A tuk tuk takes you to the main road all day. The pool is small and very little workout area but that is certainly no problem.

Overall was good

We liked the place - good breakfast, nice facilities, clean rooms, quieter location but still close enough to BT's and MRT transit. Also close to large mall (terminal21) which has a lot of food choices and other good places to eat. I recommend scruffies a Irish pub which is right behind the hotel although you have to walk all around or else shortcut thru Pegasus parking lot to get to it. Only minor issue we had was that Tuk Tuk driver wasn't there to pick us up when the schedule said he was to be. Also seemed to be a garbage pile in front of hotel ( not theirs) Nothing of major concern but lessened location. However overall it was good.

I liked how the property was set back from the main street far enough because it provided a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere to rest and recharge. Tints of Blue is very cute, unique design. It is very clean. The breakfast was delicious, a small buffet, and a special Thai menu is also offered. The only inconvenience it the location. It is at the end of a dead-end street. They offer a shuttle service to the main road and return shuttle on the hour. The latter is inconvenient if you don't arrive at the stop on time. You have to wait another hour. A motorcycle taxi is only 20 Baht though.

Tucked down the bottom of a quiet Soi this hotel was fantastic. Staff were all very helpful, the free breakfast was tasty and the room was perfect. Bed was comfortable, good Wi-Fi, the AC much needed and having a small kitchenette was very convenient for keeping drinks and snacks cool.
Only thing that bothered me was the cleaning & servicing of the room could have been better explained.

Another great stay at this hotel, I only ever choose Tints of Blue if staying in Bangkok. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and good air conditioning. No outside noise. Staff are friendly, English speaking and remember their returning customers. New wifi system installed which works very well. Breakfast choice is great, and lots of healthy options too. Tuk tuk to the main street whenever you need it

The hotel was absolutely fantastic the service, the rooms, the pool, the breakfast....all wonderful! Yes it is a little off the beaten track to get to the main road where all the action is, but for that you get peace and quiet in a lovely boutique hotel. The offer a tuk tuk service to get to the road, which the driver was always smiling and always happy to take you. I can not fault this hotel....beautiful people beautiful place.....thanks for a fabulous stay....we will be back!

A lovely boutique hotel in central Bangkok.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is conveniently located in central Bangkok but is in a quiet location. It is about 7-10 minutes easy walk to the main street. If you don't want to walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk that transports guest to the main road on demand. The return service is available on the hour.
The hotel is close to many shops, cafes, restaurants, Terminal 21 Mall and all sorts of entertainment.
My room was one of the smaller ones but was perfectly adequate. The decor was interesting and the room was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was included. It was not as extensive as you would find in a larger hotel but was excellent in terms of variety and was very tasty. Thai and Western options were available.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Bed-and-breakfast” hotel w/ quiet, isolated vibes

This hotel is overall good but has a significant negative (for some guests) - its location. It is located at the end of a long, narrow street that is quite difficult to navigate. The free tuk-tuk transportation is only available during daytime and is much less convenient if you want to go back to the hotel. The staff is very nice; and the hotel gives out a “new-age”, “bed and breakfast” feeling. It is appropriate for a couple looking for a quiet, calm stay in Bangkok.....; a group looking to party would be out of place, even though the location is close to Soi Cowboy.
As long as visitors know what they want - a comtemplative, gentle experience with Thai character (that is somewhat isolated), this hotel could be the perfect fit.

The hotel is clean, very elegant and is in a very quiet corner in the heat of the city. We dont have to pay for tuk tuk as the hotel provide free tug tug service to the main street and an hourly return shuttle back to the hotel. There are good choices of free breakfast and fresh squeezed juice with no added sugar. All hotel stuff are friendly and we had a chance to talk to a few guest who came from Europe! Overall, very nice hotel, highly recommended for all guest!

This is not a hotel, it is serviced apartment and i was disapointed about it. Room was not clean, breakfast was really poor, balcony extremely tiny and location some problematic. No bar, no room service and no filled up expertations. Rooftop swimming pool area needs a maintenance.

5 Night stay - fantastic! Good breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly staff. On site there is a rooftop pool, a small but functional gym, and a free tuk tuk service in working hours. Great value for money and comfort. The Sukhumvit location was also excellent. I can't complain, and would be happy to reccomend to any other traveller

Good hotel but breakfast need to be improved

I like this hotel a lot. The design, the atmosphere, staff, pool, and location. This was actually my second trip stay with them. But only drawback is the breakfast. I wish they had Thai food not only simple western food. And there was not much Thai street food around and a lot of restaurants are not open early in the area. I went on a trip to Thai again after this trip I a reviewing now. But I sadly passed on staying at this hotel that time. If they have Thai food for breakfast I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A 2 star hotel close to Sukhumvit

In my opinion, this hotel is barely a 2 star hotel. I expected much more for what I had to pay for a room. The rooms are small, the internet is extremely slow to the point that one can't FaceTime or Skype, the television channels limited unless you understand Thai, the room is serviced not every day but every two days, and the transportation to the hotel from Sukhumvit is not always on time. On a positive note, the transportation from the hotel to Sukhumvit is fairly reliable, the staff was okay and the breakfast, while minimal for a western style breakfast, was served on time.

It is a beautiful hotel and location is great. Room is spacious, clean, beautiful and very quiet. It is facing a garden. Breakfast was really good, too. However, internet was really bad. You have to log in every single time you want to use internet. Also, water pressure was very weak and not enough hot water that I couldn't wash my hair. The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable as well. We stayed for 2 nights so it wasn't big deal but if you are staying longer, you might need to consider.

We arrived early and the hotel was so accommodating. Our room wasn't quite ready so we had a drink and ordered food at the hotel restaurant while we were waiting. The noodle dish we ordered was delicious. They also informed us that we could use the pool and rooftop deck while waiting. Before we even finished our food the room was ready. Our room was spacious and have everything we needed. It was meticulously clean. The location was great and accessible to restaurants, public transportation and sights. It's tucked away so at times you don't feel like you're in a bustling city! The staff is friendly and attentive. The shuttle was not available during our stay but the bike rentals were. I would stay here again!

Great Place In Sukhumvit

This is a great place to stay in Bangkok. It is centrally located. Close to the BTS. Each room is decorated differently. My room was the Bach room. Totally apropo for me. There is a little restaurant on the bottom floor that serves breakfast in the morning. There is a buffet of fruit, yogurt, bread, cereals, plus you get to order eggs if you want. The staff was super sweet and friendly. I did have a hard time finding the place with my taxi driver. You need to follow the street all the way down and to the left where it dead ends, and that is where you will find this hotel. They also have a pool and gym and deck up on the 8th floor. The pool is long but not wide. I liked it for doing laps. When I go back to Bangkok I will come back to this hotel. They also have tuk tuk service out to the main road. Some guests actually complained about having to walk to the main road. I think it took about 5 or 6 minutes to do this.

Great location close to BTS.

Situated out of the way from the main road, but not so far that it is in convent. Warm friendly staff, nice rooms and excellent breakfast.

Great boutique hotel just off the beaten path

Great hotel experience. Super clean, super friendly staff. The hotel seems quite new. I would stay here again. The breakfast is great and consists of part serve-yourself (toast, cereals, fruits, etc.) and part menu service. The breakfast salad was delicious and I looked forward to it every morning.

The room was nice but the floor was slightly dirty. The hotel was slightly far from the main road but there is a tuk tuk bringing you there and you just have to walk about 5 mins to reach the BTS station or terminal 21. Breakfast was okay

Good location but tricky to find the first time.

Good location but tricky to find the first time. right near Asok BTS with a free shuttle service, just look on a map the first time so you know where your going as it's down a windy road and was a little tricky to find when it was raining heavily. Room was excellent and well decorated, shower pressure was a little weak. Very grateful our room was ready for a morning check in after a long journey.

This property is very nice and comfortable the bed was amazing and you have coin laundry downstairs the food was good in the restaurant a nice little rooftop pool can all the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at this property whenever I am in Bangkok if it is available

Very nice interior design n decor, the breakfast is yummy, and outdoor breakfast in the garden gives u great start of the day.
Clean room with nice room design, like the room with big window glasses. the bed and bedsheet is unexpectedly comfy.
Though the hotel is inside a alley (a bit walk from the main street), there is always free tuktuk go to main street, so it is not a concern. Then 5 mins walk to asoke bts.
There is nice massage place and authentic thai food nearby.
Staff are friendly, especially a short hair receiptionist. Will definately come back!

A lovely clean spacious room nice big windows a comfy bed. The location a bit out of the way although you usually get a ride one way to the main road.

Nice escape from the hustle of Bangkok.

Absolute cracker of a hotel

Excellent rooms great breakfast clean and comfortable great staff tuk tuk to main road close to bts asoke metro and terminal 21 good restaurants near by two great parks with in walking distance and so quiet for sukhumvit you might need google maps to find it or a taxi driver that really knows his way around Bangkok but what a beautiful place to stay 10 out of 10

The hotel, rooms and facilities are great and new. The Breakfast area is amazing and there are two different options to eat your breakfast: indoor or garden area. The food available for breakfast is very healthy and high quality. Nice coffee! Nice welcome drink ... Very refreshing!! We enjoyed the music played and the decor. We highly recommend this hotel.

Good location and tucked away in a quiet street

Location is right in the heart of Sukhumvit but tucked away in a nice quiet residential area which is good if you like a bit of calm. One thing I do like the most is the shuttle tuk tuk service on request to the main road which was handy if you're feeling lazy. Asoke BTS is a short 7 minute walk and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Staff are really friendly and the roof top pool is great on a nice day.

Very nice hotel

The hotel is very nice. It is very new, clean, comfortable and the room is very big. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very quite but a little bit far from BTS station which requires 15 to 20 minutes walk. Hotel provide s free shuttle to the main road.

I love thos place, classy in everyway.

I could not fault this hotel. Perfect boutique hotel in Sukhumvit. Beautiful design. Excellent service and breakfast. Close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. Great links to city via metro and monorail (very reasonable price). Perfect place to stay in expat area to be in a hidden paradise away from the crazy Bangkok days and nights.

Agressive Manager ruins hard work of staff

Part of any travel experience is dealing with the unexpected. Though the owners of Tints of Blue have put a great deal of loving care into the hotel, the manager of the property is not up to the task. When I was there I had internet problems, pungent backed up sewage smell in the room and water pouring from the AC unit onto a shelf below. In theory I would have considered this part of the experience but the lack of courtesy, care and professionalism of the property's manager made it an unpleasant experience and I was happy to leave the property. It is such a shame as most of the staff is friendly and eager to please.

Quiet and nice hotel down the alley

It beautifully done up hotel with cooking amenities and utensils, great if there is dish soup though.
Love everything about this place, the decorations, the settings, its obvious a lot of thought has been put into making it comfortable and appealing at the same time. The staff are very courteous and and friendly. Love love love the varieties of the breakfast spread, how you have options of different breads, homemade jam that I usually skim on end up felling in love with. A map is ready with places to go and by categories of eateries!

It would have been even lovelier if we didn't have to put up with one staff that just put down the menu card over breakfast 1 day with a bang on the table, or having to walk in flooded alley with the pouring rain in few inches below knee depth, and had my toe kissed by an unscrupulous rock in hiding ><\". Tuk-tuk can't pass and no cab to hail just for a 2 minutes drive.. we always end up arguing with the tuk-tuk driver over which way to go and end up just surrendering. Daily making up room would be better then alternate days, one of the perks of a hotel stay that I do quite like to enjoy. Our dessert melted in the fridge.. odd.
