To be honest, I booked this hotel because they have a really good ratings and excellent reviews so I got curious. The moment I stepped in to the hotel I felt really welcome. The hotel smells good, the room was very spacious and spotless, the breakfast was delicious (I chose the buffet over ala carte) and the most important thing for me is how good their customer service is. I would like to commend Nabia for even helping me to get a taxi on my last day, Cheep for always being there anytime I need a ride to go to Terminal 21 and Grammy Building and OHM for always being there to help me in anyway possible (even let me borrow an iPhone charger because I couldn’t find mine on my first night but I found it the next morning LOL) things like these may be small gestures but for me THIS IS WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR!!! I promised them I would stay at this hotel when I come back to Bangkok and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to all my friends who are planning to visit Thailand in the future!
Thank you guys for making my stay a really good experience and unforgettable one!!!
I would give 10 STARS if I could (I feel like 5 are not enough). Keep up the good work!!

Staff was great! Room was nice and clean. Location is good to walk to places. We walked to Time Square mall/ terminal area and it was about 10 mins. Theres a 7/11 right across too so very convenient. They also have parking.

This hotel is in a great location and not far from the BTS (Train Station). There is a 7-11 store directly across the street from this hotel, and several other restaurants and massage places not too far. The restaurant food downstairs is really good and have a nice selection of pastries and food. Overall, the hotel staff was very helpful, and provided us GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We highly recommend Somerset and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Easily walkable to pubs, restaurants, shopping. Nice gym with modern equipment. (Could be a little less crowded; to use the yoga mats I managed to go to the pool deck, not enough room in the gym.)

Somerset Madison is in an excellently located within a 10 minute walk from Terminal 21 (shopping center) and various small businesses in the surrounding area with 7-11 across the street. The rooms are beautiful decorated and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. Check in time is normally at 2 pm but I arrived at the hotel at 9 am. The staff informed me that I could check in at 1 pm by joining Ascott Star Rewards Program. I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel while I explored the city. The next time I am in Bangkok, I will definitely stay at the Somerset Maison again.

That said, this a 4-star hotel but very much lives up to that expectation - cleanliness and service of a top tier hotel though.

The room was gorgeous, much better than I had expected. Breakfasts were really good.

It’s within walking distance to the sky train which is really important.

The man at the door was great, and he even saved me from going to the wrong airport on my depature!

1 - it’s 5mins walk to Healthland Spa and Massage
2 - it has a shuttle that can send the guests near to Terminal 21 Asok shopping mall with a fantastic food court.
3 - from Terminal 21, a short walk to BTS Asoke station, where you can take the sky train to all other large shopping malls.

This is quite a good area to stay at. Walkable to the bts and big malls like terminal 21. And you can also wander the streets a bit and stumble onto nice eateries, massage places and peek at the nightlife district of Soi cowboy. Hotel offers a shuttle quite convenient. I didn’t do a drop off so I got confused at the pick up point and the shuttle driver was a little curt.

But otherwise a comfortable stay, facilities are clean, new and sufficient. Unfortunately they couldn’t put me in a non-smoking floor, smoking floor corridors can get quite smelly but the staff places a purifier to help.

I did enjoy the gym- small but clean and great equipment.

Staff were very pleasant during checking in and out of the room. There is a 7-11 just outside of the hotel and many other food places within 5-10 mins of walking distances. Room is spacious and very clean. However, the view depends on which level you are staying at. Mine was on the 3rd floor and facing the wall of another building but it doesn't really matter because most of the time, I was out and about.

There is also a shuttle service from the hotel to Interchange which is just beside Terminal 21. Very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is nice and I especially liked the shuttle van that will take you to the Interchange building where you can grab the MRT and BTS. The service is very nice also.

There are two reasons why I would NOT come to this hotel again.

1.) The floors reek of smoke. I was put in room 418 and the smell of cigarette smoke was horrid. They told me the 4th floor is \"mixed\" meaning some rooms are smoking rooms, some are not. We all know that if any floor has smoking rooms, ALL of the rooms will smell like smoke. It was a disgusting smell to have to put up with everyday. Even the pillows and towels reeked of smoke. It was very gross.

2.) I specifically ordered a studio with 2 BEDs. They gave me a room with only 1 BED. I came to this hotel with my 17 year old kid. As most parents know, a 17 year old does NOT want to sleep in the same bed with their parent. I told the hotel about this and they gave me a blanket to sleep on the small little couch in the room. It was too small, so I ended up sleeping on the marble floors with a single blanket. For the price I paid, I was very unhappy to be sleeping on a hard marble floor with a single blanket, let alone a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. As I said, it's a nice hotel on the surface, but be prepared for unpleasant surprises like smoke, sleeping on floors, etc. Thanks.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Somerset Maison. Situated in a prime location, it is surrounded by decent restaurants and a pretty good bakery round the corner.
Although just minutes walk away from T21/ Interchange Tower, the complimentary ad-hoc shuttle service provides a completely sheltered and more convenient way to get there which then links you to both BTS/MRT lines. A big thanks to Mr Boy and his colleague Toni for ferrying us to and fro during our stay with warm smiles :)
The ladies at the reception are also welcoming and friendly especially the lady with short hair (sorry, did not get her name) who comes across as genuine and sincere.
The rooms are well equipped and comes with universal power points so you can leave your travel adaptors at home. There are no rooms across the corridor so this layout is great to mitigate possible noise and disturbance from other guests coming in and out and creates more privacy as well. Thumbs up to the design.
A personal favourite of mine is the rooftop garden which is a really nice and quiet place to unwind after a long day. I only wished there were lesser mosquitoes there. A friendly suggestion to the management - can try to place some mosquito coils or some repellent device there after sundown.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Somerset Bangkok. It was close enough to walk to all the popular places close by and also within walking distance from the public subway stations to get wherever you needed to go that was further out in Bangkok.

The room was cozy, clean, well kept and comfortable. We even were able to get our laundry done with the provided washer and dryer combo after 13-14 days of traveling. This also saved me so much time once I got home which I am grateful for.

The pool is beautiful and private to only the people staying at Somerset, unlike some of the places we stayed at in Krabi.

The location is across from a convenient store so if you need late night snacks, drinks, goodies you have a place to go.

Our stay was also very peaceful and we had no problem with any outside noice from the city.

The staff here were so sweet and helpful with check in, check out and helping with shuttles/bags. 10 out of 10 stay.

My room was different than the advertised photos and had no view. The hotel changed to higher floor but same view facing another residential building and had to keep the shade closed most of the time; will book else where next time near Asoke station and terminal 21 instead.
The cleaning service will enter your room without requesting; must request no cleaning prior otherwise they will ring the bell and enter when no one is in the room to answer the bell. What happens you are in the shower? and can’t answer the bell… glad I didn’t have to find out. It was quite stressful when certain days I wanted to relax in the room and request cleaning only when needed. It was quite surprising to find cleaning service entering without your knowledge after a long day of touring the city.
