An adequate room for a pretty cheap price.

The room was adequate for sleeping but was crazy small. It was very clean and the shower had good water pressure and was plenty hot. The view was so-so. The staff were friendly and spoke good english and were very helpful. The best thing about the hotel in general is its location. It is literally 20 yards away from the end of Soi Cowboy. It's also across the street from an amazing indoor mall, Terminal 21, the best shopping mall in Bangkok, by far.

Budget hotel in great location

2 nights in deluxe room which was not exactly that. Lets be fair, the location is great in the centre of Bangkok for about £25 a night so have to be realistic.
Sign to say they take no responsibility for lost valuables in your room and safe was broken. Had to ask for loo paper as cleaner didnt leave one. Shower flooded bathroom as drain must be blocked and toilet cistern ran 24hrs a day as it was faulty.

Hotel needs a bit of maintenance and only some of staff speak English. You get what you pay for so overall it was ok, no breakfast available but plenty of options nearby. If you want a cheap place to stay in central bangkok and have realistic expectations based on the price then this is ok

not recommend this hotel, room is very small, poor layout, elevator issues, room smell like mold and shower wash goes into room. Eletronicity turned off three times during the next, resulted no ac.. fob access card was disabled 3 times.

Strategic and Easy Accessibility Hotel Location

Good location situated between Asok BTS station and MRT Sukhumvit station which both stations are connected for seamless traveling. Shopping malls like the Terminal 21 and Robinson are a stone throw away just across the road. Food wise is easily available within walking distance. Convenient store 7-11 is just next door with a massage center just besides it. Overall, my stay in W21 Hotel is happy and good.

If you're going To Rutnin Eye Hospital it's very close. Be careful with luggage. It has a small elevator. There's also an excellent pizzaria on the other side of Asok by the MTR/BTS station.

Room bed sheets with dirty stain upon our arrival, room power sockets was not functioned and suddenly out of electricity during our stay. The front desk unable to solve the problem immediately, leave us waiting in the room dark without electricity around 30min. Toilet paper not refilled or replaced by housekeeping. Hotel construction work start every morning around 10am with excessive noise disturbance. Serious water leaking problem out from bathroom to our bedroom floor after shower.

Nice location with bad service

The location is great and close to both BTS & MRT, but some staffs seem to be unprofessional and sometimes unfriendly with low communication and understanding skill even in Thai language! We arrived at 7:30 am on our arrival date, but we contacted the hotel to ask whether is it possible to have an early check-in (normal check-in @ 2:00pm). The staff who answered the call informed that it can be arranged with 500THB add fee, which is ok for me. However, once we are at the hotel, the staff informed that there is no room for us to early check in. So, my GF gave her no. & ask the hotel to call us if there is a room available. The Hotel called us but to suggest that we can cancel if unsatisfied and inform us that we can change to other hotel. That's the first time. Finally, we can check-in at 14:30 after a trip around the area. About an hour later, the A/C has a water dropped from it (as shown in pictures). So, we asked to change the room. The staff came and suggested us to cancel again, but we asked her how this can be considered as \"service-mind\" as she didn't do anything but always start with that suggestion without any troubleshooting/assist us first. Then, she took almost 30 minute to provide us an answer whether we can change or is there any room for us or not. Once moved to a new room, she also suggested us again! The staff suggested us to cancel 3 times in total on our arrival date with lame excuses!!! After that day, we tried to avoid them the rest of our stay!

Upon arrival at the reception, there was only one front office staff for check in and she was on the phone for a very long time. We had to wait for about 10-15 mins for her to hang up the phone to do the check in for us. Lift was very small and only fitted maximum of 2 person. Room was very old and had a strong wood smell. furniture was old and dusty. No safe box in room. toilet was very basic. no proper window and view was blocked.

We had a sky penthouse. The lifts only go to the floor below. Floor was saggy as was the mattress. It took four days to have a technician fix the room safe for us. It was difficult to get a taxi given the proximity to a busy intersection.

This hotel has excellent location just beside Soi Cowboy. Unfortunately, they are undergoing a major renovation and still accepting guests! Rooms are dusty from the renovation works and u have to walk through the renovation areas to get to your room. Its noisy from all the drilling etc frm the renovation. They also have the slowest lift in world. I would suggest to NOT stay here until their renovation works are over.

I was surprised that the hotel was under construction. It looks like they have taken te very space of the (very quiet) massage salon and will expand. Unfortunately they keep the hotel open and it felt like living at a construction site. They really tried their best to comfort us but overall it was disappointing. I come here already for years and will try it again after they completely finish the construction. I hope the prices will remain the same and the rooms spacious. Maybe they find some space to offer breakfast then my stay will be perfect again.

A good place to stay, but hotel is getting old.

The hotel has a few things good about it. The location, cheap room rates, friendly staff. The hotel is kept clean by the staff. But the hotel is old. The elevator acting up, I had to hold the button down for elevator to run. The 3rd floor is closed for renovation. Also the 7/11 store next door is also closed for renovation.

Bad hotel not worth the money

Dirty room and the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. No hand soap or water in the room and the bed was totally uncomfortable. I only paid 30 bucks but this was the worst hotel room so far on this Bangkok trip.

The elevator is completely unsafe and the hotel is under remodel. If you take the stairs you will see a entire floor under repair. I would suggest you take the stairs due to the unsafe elevator. The 711 next store is no longer open.

The hotel is not easy to be found. I searched on Google map, but what comes out first is called Asoke Suite, I followed the way to the reception and was told that it is not Serene Asoke Suite!! Inside the room, one lock is broken, two lights did not work. There are only four TV channels available--two in Thai and the other two in Mandarin. The window is facing the garbage, better not to open.

The first room had a leaky pipe. The second room not so bad but housekeeping is poor. Floor not swept, sheets not changed throughout our stay and sheets were stained on check-in. Pillows were old and hard. We stayed for the location which is next to the MRT. Otherwise, not recommendable.

The Hotel is very close to all places like Asoke BTS, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza. The hotel staff's are good and welcoming. The only limitation is that the Room I lived is not good. I don't have any Idea about other rooms. But there is water dropping from Aircon and the floor was not good. But considering location and price the hotel was good.

Lots of Good Reasons to Stay Here

This is right next door to Soi Cowboy, a popular night club area frequented by tourists and full of young Thai ladies scantily clad. It has a 7-Eleven immediately beside it. It's attached to a massage center. You can get an hour oil massage plus an hour Thai massage for US $18. We got a one bed room with no windows for $35 just to have a shower, wifi, massage, and a place to put our luggage for the day since we had to leave for the airport at midnight. It's pretty clean, not too fancy, but it was good for us for the cost. Nice restaurants nearby. Taxis waiting outside.

Top floor was lovely!

I can't attest to the various room types, but I got lucky and was upgraded to a top floor room, and it was great! The room was simple but clean. Bed was decent, bathroom good, shower had good hot water and pressure. Fridge and TV. My Aircon was a bit cold because the remote didn't work, but I was lazy and never complained to the front desk, so can't fault them for not fixing it. Staff was friendly, location was perfect - at the metro station if you are sightseeing, across from a huge stylish mall if you are shopping, next door to the red light street if you are partying...

All in all, a great place. I'm actually leaving this review because I logged in to try to book it again for my next stay!

Run down hotel with a good location. They overbooked and tried to move me to another hotel which defeats the purpose of me picking this place for it's LOCATION and prepaying in advance. The front desk lady that works nights had a real attitude and told the day front desk lady not to give me and upgrade but they finally did. If you will arrive late, contact the hotel and let them know because they will rent your payed room out. The bad: Very rude night front desk lady, hard bed, aircon directly blow on the bed, bathroom floods, safe box was broken, water never gets hot. Good: Across Terminal21 mall, next to soi cowboy, near public transport (BTS/MRT), 7-11 downstairs, day front desk lady is polite.

I stayed here many times already and will stay further when I come to Bangkok again as the location is great, near BTS&MRT,shopping,dining(Terminal21)or few stops via BTS to MBK-Central world-Siam centre-Siam Square-Siam Paragon. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Lift is a little bit slow but safe. Rooms are o.k. and good price also.

Great value for money considering its price, location, size of rooms. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Just a brief over-nighter. There's a 7-11 right next door and that was very convenient. Soi Cowboy had some pubs, restaurants, and, well, unique entertainment, but the monsoon downpour kept things quiet and manageable for the night I stayed.

Mycket prisvärt precis vid Soi Cowboy

Detta hotell är ett av de mest prisvärda jag bott på. Precis vid Soi Cowboy och mindre än 50 meter till Skytrain och Underground. Inte så stora rum, men rena och mysiga. Enda negativa är toaletten som blir som en swimmingpool efter att man duschat. För detta låga pris kan man nog inte få bättre.
