Hotel is listed with washer and dryer in room. There was not, and when asked was told there’s a laundry service but no washer dryer on the premises. There’s not even a washer and dryer on the premises at all but was listed as having one in the room. Very inconvenient to find out after a long flight and I would have stayed somewhere else had I known. Location to Patong beach is great.

Best in Bangkok Asok area

This is the only hotel that my family and I stay at when we visit Bangkok. The location cant be beat.You have access to everything. Just a 5 minutes walk to metro, skytram or subway. Its tucked away in a quiet alleyway among the bustle of the city. There is a park about 5 minutes away as well. Its a great place to run, walk, do yoga, or let your children play. There is also a huge mall close by where you can eat, shop, watch a movie, or catch a cultural event.

Great location in a short dead end road very close to Asoke station.
Comfortable bed and extremely quiet room (at least at the rear) considering the closeness of the hotel to busy roads.
Reception staff were very efficient and courteous but could smile more.
Arranged late checkout at 6pm for half normal room rate.
There are a couple of massage establishments in the vicinity which could be a minus (or a plus).

Value-for-money Hotel, conveniently located opposite Terminal 21. Near Metro and BTS, yet in a Quiet Soi. About 500 m from Benjakitti Park, good for early morning jog/walk. This is probably my 5th or 6th stay here, since I discovered it.

Would have given them a higher score but the stay was spoilt on the last day when we checked out. We asked the concierge to get us a taxi to the airport. He said they can only get us the THB500 taxi. We wanted a taxi that goes by the meter and he said you have to go outside and get your own taxi. We were aghast as we had stayed at many hotels in Bangkok over the years and this the first time a concierge tells us to go outside with bags and all to hail our own taxi. We had to argue with him on what kind of service is the hotel providing and he reluctantly went out to hail a taxi for us.

Budget Good hotel with great location

It all started nicely with the doorman who is very kind to auto introduce where to find local cheap food, shopping, giving direction. I booked a standard room with breakfast but somehow was offer a free upgrade which was bigger and fantastic on the higher floor room 404. The only downside was that we can only get the room after 2pm even though we were there close to 12 noon. Breakfast is simple and standard with option of 1 or 2 eggs and how you want to cook it with selection of having beacon, bake beans, pork/chicken hotdogs (you can choose all if you can finish). On top of that, there are small selection of bread, a daily dish change like fried rice, spring roll, prathai noodle etc. Shower spray in bath room is strong and good. Bed comfy but blanket wise have some hole. Lastly they allow me to have an free extension of 1hr late check out. They also help arrange an airport taxi transfer for 500bht. Location is gd with mrt and bts 2min 2alk away. Will come back again.

Staff was pleasant and a welcome tea was served upon check in. We were upgraded to a superior room which was quite spacious. The room was clean and service staff was friendly. Best thing about this hotel is its value for money, really conveniently located and yet very affordable. Will stay again.

Few terrible things happened during our 5-night stay from 12-17/2/19 which had been worsened by the way we were treated by the manage t and staff. Especially after the water pipe affecting our room burst. Imagined the inconvenience involved n unhappiness elicited by the poor handling.
The staff promised that we would get a reply from the management on 19/2/19 but I am still waiting for it upto this moment!

Good location, value for money

Good location, value for money, however, there is an issue with getting a taxi. Most taxi drivers flatly refuse to pick you up in the dead-end alley, apparently because then it forces them to go the inconvenient way into Sukhumvit traffic. On our way out to the airport, we had big luggage, that it was out of the question to hug up and down the stairs of BTS Asok Station, just to be on the correct side of Sukhumvit, so we ordered a Grab, which turned up, eventually, and we were on our way.

Everything was superb except for 1 minor annoyance -- the water flow was not constant so the temperature occasionally changed -- and although I informed hotel staff about it, they neither fixed it nor communicated anything to me about that failure to fix it. That was a bit annoying, but a mere dot in the context of the bigger picture, a great and comfortable stay.

The location is amazing, and there was an excellent Vegan restaurant around the corner.

It was my third stay in this hotel, nothing to complaint on the pricing including a breakfast. The only thing hope the hotel management will see into it is replacing the towels which is quite worn out. Will definitely return if this has been solved.

Good location, just ONE minute walk from BTS & MRT.
This is my second time to stay here, hence no need to spend time to find the hotel.
Compare with my first stay (4 years age), hotel seems little bit old, I think it's time to renew some software, just like bath tower, not as white anymore....
Anyway, this time also good experience to stay but I may consider some new hotel next time.

Room 508 smells mouldy though there are no signs of mound growing on the obvious areas.
Also room is not completely sound proof and hence sounds of construction at the opposite building could be heard as early as 7+ am.

Great location for visitor plan to stay at Asok.

Hotel location is at a dead end street that shares with couple of massage shops and bars beside some other commercial at ground floor and neighbourhood at higher floors. Hotel basic requirements are met. Happy with room cleanliness if nothing more to comment. Overall standard facilities are match with star rated so no surprise. A great location accessing to Terminal 21 shopping mall.

Easy comfort in the city

Great base for getting around Bangkok! Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Friendly staff. I didn't take breakfast as I like to eat locally, so can't comment on that area. Ideal location, moments away from Asok BTS / Sukhumvit MRT, Terminal 21 for easy shopping and dining, and a ten-minute walk to Lavana, for top notch massage treatments. Reasonable rates for the area. Would happily stay again, and most likely will, as I travel to Bangkok several times a year.

Great location and value for money

Great location in the heart of Asok, just a minute walk away from Asok BTS station where you can access the MRT and Terminal 21. Hotel and room is basic but nice and clean, it’s everything you need for a shopping trip to Bangkok. The only problem is getting Grab to the hotel as the address and pinned location does not match correctly on Google Map, so Grab drivers are unable to find the hotel, but the staff was helpful in speaking to the Grab driver to provide him the right direction for our ride to the airport. Other times, you can just get your Grab/taxi driver to drop you off at Asok BTS since it’s just a short walk away.

Its our 3rd stay at this hotel and definitely wont be the last. Strategic location; 5 mins walk away from BTS Asok & MRT Sukhumvit. Near Terminal 21; one of the best malls around for good food & shopping. Condition of hotel; pleasant considering its a 3 star hotel. Room is clean and comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights straight! Hotel staff speaks good English; they are friendly and helpful. Even helped us hailed for a taxi and load our luggages. Will be back for sure! Keep it up Citypoint!

Torak the concierge impressed me most, tell us how to get around, where to get cheap meals and marked out map for us. He even walked out to the road to direct the Grap driver to the hotel entrance he did it sincerely and declined my tips! It was hilarious when the reception called my room at 12 noon sharp reminding me it’s check out time when I was on my way out of my room! Plus having BTS, MRT and Terminal 21 across the road about 5 mins walk from Hotel.

Front staff are rude. If it was just once, it would be easy to excuse. Twice I’ve stayed here and each time the front desk have fake opening comments and smile but when it comes to having interaction beyond a script they have little time and are a bit arrogant. Seems like perhaps they are used to dealing with not so knowledgeable tourists and the extent of their courtesy and common sense extends just beyond that of a robot. Suggestion: if you see a guest soaking wet from the rain, check her in first before finishing all your stapling. I had to literally say, “can you do that later and check me in since I’m soaking wet?”

I extended my stay and went to the front desk to let them know I have done this online. As I’m trying to explain another clerk interrupts with something completely unrelated I understand enough time to know this. Because of this she was not able to find my reservation as she was distracted for more than five minutes. I was on my way to an appointment and asked her to please finish my transaction and, annoyed, cut me off repeatedly saying she couldn’t find my booking. It wasn’t until I said, can you stop your conversation and attend to my transaction, when she suddenly found my reservation and I was able to get going.

So many hotels in the area. If you have an option to go somewhere else.

The hotel is a 3 minute walk to BTS station. However, there are no lifts to the BTS station. To get to airport, use the pedestrian crossing to reach the MRT station instead.

The counter staff could do with more smile, but the bellboy is smiley and helpful!

Always stay here.

Always stay here when in Bangkok, but would avoid 5th floor as water pressure seems variable, makes it difficult to set a constant temperature for the shower. But rooms are bigger and better than most other hotels in the area for the price.

Clean hotel with excellent location

Hotel is very close to a BTS station (Asok), and there's a big shopping mall connected to the BTS. You can get you coffee fix and lots of food options there, on top of the shopping. There's also a food market at the Basement for you to get some groceries and snacks.

Check in and check out was fuss free. You can keep your luggage there before the check-in time of 2pm. There's an umbrella in the room closet cos rainy days too.
