Very welcoming staff and the room was a very pleasant surprise. Big and a very big and comfortable bed! 210 cm wide.
Didn’t like the frame around the bed as it stuck out like 15-20 cm because very easy to hit it with a leg during the night if go to toilet.
Also remote to AC would’ve been nice because the AC was way to loud during the next and if we turned it of it got so hot.
Pool was nice. And gym was good too.

Really good location right next to the mall and really close to the night market, plus there is a free shuttle/Tuktuk to the market. Not to far to travel to the temples. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Bed was really big and comfy only down thing would be shower area could have been a little bit cleaner but honestly not world ending. Would recommend.

Was there for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and service was courteous, but had some language issues—asked for help with the lights and we and the porter couldn’t figure it out. He left then never came back, but we eventually found it. My bag was marked incorrectly and sent to the wrong room, called the desk, put on hold, then had to walk down to ask for help and was given help to someone who understood English and finally found it. For the mishaps, I took out one star, but otherwise great hotel!

Pros - nice facility, excellent staff, very good buffet breakfast, close to grocery store and mall food court. Shuttle to the night market was nice.

Cons - nothing major - finicky wifi - we had to reenter hotel password every few minutes. I’m an avid swimmer and there was a strange smell in the pool water that gave me a headache. Not close to any of the major tourist sites but Grab was affordable and convenient.

The high light of Grand Vista is simply the friendliness of staff. From reception to floor everyone is very helpful and professional as well as kind hearted!
Located in a very private area, however one can have everything as there are a couple of shopping facilities just a few minutes away!
Surely will come back again for my next visit!

Grand Vista is away from downtown on a busy road, although the traffic noise wasn’t apparent in our room or at the pool. There’s a large modern mall across the highway, accessed by a foot bridge, with food courts, restaurants, grocery store and shops. The old city is a short Grab ride away. Our room was large, clean and serviced daily. A very enjoyable staff.

The Grand Visa is a NICE hotel. Everything was clean & worked. The bed was comfy & they had lots of pillows. The shower was nice & hot. The bar fridge stayed on when you left the room. We ordered room service & they were fast & the food was delicious.
The breakfast buffet had good choices & was well presented. They had an egg station which was nice. Staff were friendly & housekeeping did a good job.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were warmly greeted when we arrived at the hotel and received excellent service by all the staff. Room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast had mostly asian food like rice and curry dishes. You could get eggs to order and cold cereals and toast. Also fruits.
The only disappointing thing was the pool which had mildew growing between the tiles in the bottom of the pool.

The spa is a little bit more pricey than if you went into town but it is super convenient and great customer service. I had a great massage, and was well worth the money. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the pool was never too busy, we went to the pool twice during our stay and the two of us were the only two there for the whole time. We almost got ripped off by a tuk tuk driver and staff were there to have our backs and advise us on the best routes. Very friendly and professional staff.

Hotel is just opposite Central Festival, the same shopping mall found in Bangkok. So there are a lot of food choices and there is even a cinema within. The hotel room is clean and spacious. But the staff esp those at the front desk were not conversant in English, hence it was hard to communicate when we needed assistance. There is an in house Massage/spa. Although the price is reasonable but the skill of the Masseurs is unexpectedly poor.
1 major plus point is the hotel provides shuttle to a few places of interest including the city tram.

Overall, very good and will be back stay here if I go Chiang Rai again. Strongly recommended!
Great location, next to Big B supermarket and opposit Central department store.

Service is the best! Especially staff in restaurant are so helpful. 3 persons in my group are vegetarians and they got special dish from the cook and the staff.

Just only tiny comment about maid, cleanliness is not a problem but need to train more how to do the bed for proper set up for daily cleaning service.

I stay here when shopping at Big C and Central Plaza,the location is excellent for that.It's a bit far from the bus station and Night Market area but they and Central Plaza have a shuttle service.The room is modern and clean with a nice little seating area and the bathroom is very nice.The breakfast is tasty with a good balance of Asian and Western food.The staff is great,friendly and fast.The down side is the room doors are big and heavy and make quite a noise when closed,it sounds like people are slamming doors as the sound echoes down the corridor and is quite annoying when you're trying to sleep.

I will say that the hotel had very good rooms, nice gym/pool sand very good restaurant. I normally stay in different part of Krabi, but was quite satisfied with this location due to proximity of beach walkway and some of the finest restaurants in Krabi. This Centara is also a good value and competitively priced. I liked the gym schedule which allowed us to work out prior to breakfast. The breakfast was exceptional. The beds were also very nice, and overall a very romantic and relaxing stay for 9 days.

A quiet GEM!!!!

Grand Vista Hotel Chiangrai is a quiet GEM. From check in to check out, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel like one of the family. A European style hotel which brings the creature comforts to those of us traveling from afar. Comfortable beds, polite staff, good food and cleanliness like no other we have found in our travels through Thailand. The breakfast buffet has an assortment of West and local foods and although it is buffet style and sometimes the food is lukewarm it is still a delicious treat. The room service menu is vast, well priced (for an international style hotel) and delicious.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the amazing cleaning staff for keeping the hotel above and beyond expectations we've grown to see in other international style hotels throughout Thailand.

We want to thank the front end staff for their kindness and patience with our minimal Thai.

The food staff answered all of our questions regarding the food and shared their positive work ethic with their smiles and courteous behaviour.

And we would like to personally thank the front end manager for making us feel like family, helping us with sightseeing, food options and taxi services.

Best stay to date in Thailand and we hope to make it back to Chiangrai for another visit soon.

Acceptable and popular hotel, but has some issues

Nice, clean hotel. Only one room key provided, so we could not cheat the system and keep air conditioning on while gone. Internet required input of room number and passcode EVERY TIME you used it, which quickly becomes annoying. I admit I am picky about my coffee, but theirs is not very good (Nestle machine). We had the seafood buffet but much of the seafood had a strong ammonia smell (indicating it is past its prime) so we stopped eating.

However, if these things don't matter, the price is very attractive and the staff really goes out of their way to assure that everything in their power is highly acceptable to you (note we didn't complain about any of the issues mentioned above).

Comfy Bed and Great Location @ Chiang Rai

This hotel is a great place to stay at because it is very close to Central Plaza, Big C market, and on the main high way of Chiang Rai.
The room we booked was \"Jacuzzi Suite\" very spacious, comfy King bed, and good view too.
For the breakfast, if you are able to wake up before 10:30 am, go ahead and eat breakfast bcuz it is delicious :).

Overall, I will stay at this hotel again when I visit Thailand again and again!

We had a wonderful stay with our friends at Grand Vista for 3 nights. The service was great and the rooms were amazing!

We got a king sized bed room, all these rooms are on the top floor. It was a very large room with a beautiful bathroom with a rain shower. The room included all the basic amenities and basic cable. It also had a seating area beside the window. The sheets were super clean and the hotel staff did a wonderful job cleaning everyday.

Breakfast was included in our stay and it was really great. There was an omelette bar, noodle bar, salad bar, and plenty of other dishes and fruit. The coffee was quite disappointing though, so you might want to get your own when you head out.

There was also a message parlor attached to the hotel, which we all went to and enjoyed. The prices were even better than the prices in Bangkok. If you stay at the Grand Vista, the message parlor is a must try!

The hotel is right across a \"Central Plaza\" mall, one of the large mall chains in Thailand. If you want to go into the main part of the city the hotel has a free shuttle that can take you there and pick you up at night to visit the night bazaar (which we recommend as well!) The hotel also helped us arrange day trips to the white palace, the mountains, and other places with a van and driver for a very reasonable price! If you need a ride, just ask the front desk and they'll help you arrange everything.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at the Grand Vista!

I booked three nights at this hotel. My room was really comfortable and spacious. The staff was really kind and attentive. They were able to help me in booking a full day tour for the following day, which was really nice, since I checked in around 10pm. The buffet breakfast was varied. There's a shopping mall located almost in front of the hotel, where you can find some shops and restaurants.

Nice, new hotel. The staff is supportive, friendly, and helpful.

Pros: shares a parking lot with the Big C complex. Central Plaza mall is across the street. There is a free shuttle that takes you to the night market/walking street in the evening.

Cons: Hotel is right next to the highway, so lots of noise. You can constantly hear doors slamming in the hallways. The hotel seems new, but there are a few unfinished construction projects (the pool area).

Tips: request rooms facing the backside of the hotel (even numbered) otherwise you face the highway and it's VERY noisy.

The hotel is relatively new and in good area.

I enjoy the stay. I can use the parking space so I rent a car to go around. Good breakfast too.

Would definitely stay next time.

When we arrived the room I had booked was not available so they upgraded me. I was most satisfied with my room. The hotel appears to be in final stages of construction and the pool was not ready for use. Their breakfast was very nice and the service was great. I have to Chiangrai many times but never had such a good hotel experience before.
