Not up to standards. Definitely not what you would expect from a 4 stars luxury stay, a facility that -according to locals- is \"the best in town\". While the facility is beautiful and the staff is nice, it pains me to say that, next time, we will consider staying at an AirBnB in the city centre and possibly use the hotels restaurant and facilities - no special treatment is reserved for the hotel guests. We were told that we had to book our dinner in the restaurant in advance and that if we were 15 min late we would loose our table; and I was unable to spend my day at the spa as I was planning. It was fully booked: although the reception managed to book me a last minute massage, and even though it was mothers day, we were highly surprised that being a hotel guest (in one of the supposedly best rooms!) did not grant you any kind of preferred treatment for the spa - and we would have been more than happy to pay good money for it. And finally, the service was not one you would expect from a luxury hotel. Most importantly, I told the staff several times that I was celiac, but they nonetheless served me a regular biscuit reassuring me that it was gluten free (it was not). I am sure it was an innocent mistake, but yet, a very big one, which added to the numerous small ones has made sure that we will not be going back to this hotel.

Unable to enjoy the spa as we were told it was booked. Check-in experience was great. Check-out not so much. The person responsible for check-out was moody and not very nice. Everything else was good.

We enjoyed our time at the pool area. We brought our own towels and robes as we have seen some dreadful ones at other hotels. The loungers aren’t very comfy and there are only 4 so if the area was busy that would be a problem.

Additionally, I could not open the windows for fresh air because of the constant noise. The receptionist had informed me that the fans would not operate until 8:30 a.m., but they actually started much earlier, around 7:00 a.m., further disrupting my stay.

Staff was hit or miss, it is an old hotel that is starting to show its age. The beds are firm and old feeling, the toilet in our room was loose from the wall and our bathroom radiator didn't work. The pool is small, shallow and old also, the hot tub wasn't hot and the pool cold. From the outside it looks like a great hotel, but afyer staying here i would say pass and choose a different one. Food in restaurant was good, but portions were tiny even by european standards. Its hard to pay £54 for 2 pieces of pork tenderloin and a 3cm by 8cm piece of pork belly with bones. Didn't bother with breakfast so can't speak to that.

Was by far the best property we stayed in as we travelled from London through Scotland. We stayed in the executive rooms on the spa side. The rooms were spacious and clean. Being detached from the main building gave us all of the benefits of the hotel but a slightly quieter experience. James was very helpful when I asked for assistance with the phone and dinner recommendations off property. We would definitely stay here again!

Second night we slept like babies with earplugs. Other than that, the location, food and room were top notch.

We were told the room wasn’t ready until 4pm sharp, so we came back then… however there was still hair in the shower. The shampoo and conditioner pumps were faulty, and they were clearly never cleaned, only refilled. The showers have mold growing in every corner. We requested housekeeping to turn our room over while we were out, and we returned to find the bedspread had been pulled over and tucked in around a blanket that was half folded on the bed, and the pillows in disarray, as we had left them. They had replaced the towels however, so I suppose that’s “job done”. The beds were hard and I swear I could count the springs as I lay on them. The rooms feel worn out and could use some attention and perhaps maintenance as well as a deep clean.

Stayed here after an appointment at the nearby Raigmore Hospital. It made a lovely change from the normal 3 hour drive home. It’s convenient and the rooms are perfect. The a la carte menu is varied and delicious and the staff are a delight. Will definitely stay again.

- no hairdryer (poor considering the luxury element they push for staying here)
- the carpet was so slippery, I genuinely don’t know what they use on it but it was very slippy

The hotel was lovely our room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a working TV 😁 the bathroom was really nice the only disappointing part was the water pressure which was low I had to run around in the shower to get wet 💦 We ate at the hotel it was a reasonable price and good food we sat in the lounge for our meal but had to grab the attention of a staff member to be served as they were only paying attention to people in the dining area the leisure facilities were enjoyable and relaxing we would definitely stay again

The hotel is a fantastic place to stop when working in Inverness.
My two very slight criticisms are that the climate control in the rooms is super bright and being light sensitive, i found it disrupted my sleep.
For the size of the hotel and the dact they have an on site Spa, the gym could be a bit better equipped.
Other than that, the hotel, food and drink were excellent.

Overall the hotel was fine. We did not get to stay at the hotel we had to stay at “the Kingclub” however our room was very nice, clean and spacious and they had AC. The food however was not good, our dinner and breakfast was mediocre. There are several other hotels in the area.

We have retired for one night in a family luxury room, 317 with bunk beds. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Pool was lovely, I would say would need a refurb in tiles soon, but was still very enjoyable! Other facilities were fantastic - bar, sauna, spa and steam room. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic so much choice and catered very well for our dietary needs as a gluten free and dairy free person! My little ones were given stickers on arrival at breakfast which was so thoughtful and kind they loved them!

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful and welcoming. The room was clean and nicely decorated with both a tub and a shower! We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. Black out drapes were nice given we were not used to the long days of this latitude and the time change from where we live. It was quiet with a nice view of the countryside/golf course. The breakfast is well worth it and I found a new love for haggis! Delightful stay! We would love to come back to Inverness as there is so much to see AND partake in the hotel resort's spa! Next time perhaps...
