The hotel location is great. It is in a relatively quite area, but centrally located, only a few minutes walk from the night market and bus station.

We enjoyed our stay at Hi Chiangrai Hotel. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was ok, not great. Breakfast was quite good-especially the omelettes. Star was friendly. The hotel is a bit dated but still quite comfortable. It’s in a good location.

Loved the hotel. Loved the location. Easy walk to Night Market, Clock Tower, bus station, shops and restaurants. Only downside was that the water in the shower was only lukewarm.

It was good for a night or 2 stay. The pool is basically in the lobby which gets no sunlight so is freezing. The room was fine with the bathroom not the best but ok. The sink was super low and the shower was moldy on one side. Shower never got past luke warm. Just a short walk to the wonderful night market/bazaar. Breakfast was decent enough. There is a laundry in the lobby but we just did drop off across the street. To sum it up, it was fine for a place to lay your head for a day or two but it's not a hotel for lounging by the pool or lobby really.

Overall stay was very good. It's a very convenient location walking distance from night bazaar and many local restaurants and shops. Only down side to the property was that our room had a very weird smell once we steeped into the room and had to open window for a while to get the smell out. Besides that great property staff very nice and friendly and great location.

The staff of the hotel are really nice and friendly. This hotel is convenient if you want to visit temples because it’s close to them. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Chiang rai night bazaar which makes it easier if you want to eat something, and also 5 minute walk from the bus terminal. They even have buffet breakfast at the hotel for $200 baht which makes it convenient because you won’t find restaurants open so early. For a 500 baht deposit you can get a bike in the lobby. The only bad thing about the hotel is that is outdated and the pictures on the website makes he hotel look luxury when it’s not. It also needs to be cleaner. The bathroom has mold and the bathroom has curtain which were dirty. Other than that the hotel is convenient.”

Nice spot, clean and comfortable, mostly quiet - a couple of evenings there was dance music coming from somewhere but ended relatively early. Had free hand sanitizer and facemasks at Reception, nice feature. Good restaurants within walking distance. And try Prompt Coffee a few doors down, it is awesome.

The hotel is pretty good for the cost. Room was clean and breakfast was very good. HOWEVER, during check-out we were rushing to leave and check-out. On the bus back to Chiang Mai we realized that our deposit was not returned. We tried to have them send it to down to us. They said basically too bad so sad. They would not return it because I had signed off on the slip. OMG! Horrible staff! They must be laughing all the way to the bank. Be careful!!

This is one of the newer hotels in town. An easy walk to the Clocktower, bars, and restaurants. A five-minute walk to the night Bazaar and the new bus station. To visit the White Temple just walk to the bus station and pay 20 baht and catch a bus. Avoids taxi ripoffs. You can also pay 20 baht to get to the Chiang Rai airport by modern air conditioned bus as well. Signs for these buses are clearly marked. There is also a free bus to the big mall that stops at the hotel. The mall is great for a rainy day. The mall bus only runs every few hours.
The rooms are good sized with a walk in shower (no tub in mine) and in room safe. There are plenty of electrical outlets. My U.S. plugs fit the outlets without an adapter. Wifi was fast. Staff was friendly and the room was very clean. No bugs! Didn't try the breakfast or eat at the hotel. Too many nearby options.

I cannot say enough nice and good things about this hotel. Centrally located and walking distance to all the local attractions in Chiang Rai. On the day I checked out, I thought I overslept and checked out early. Turns out, I didn't. The bus is at 12:30pm. So I walk back to the hotel, and on my way my bag broke :-(
Thankfully this hotel was SUPER helpful. They let me check back into my room so I can sit and rest for a minute & they fixed my bag!!!! I tried to tip the woman who helped me, but she refused my money. It's crazy! I've never seen such a high level of service, cleanliness, and quality since I've been in Thailand. Will recommend this hotel to every person who asks where to stay. It simply can't be beat!!!

There were hot water issues at times (oddly, only the sink...not the shower), but it was reasonably quiet, very clean and nice, helpful staff. The location was fine, I suppose. All my sightseeing was out of the city so I did not really focus on location. I also did not eat at the hotel. Overall, our 6 day stay was pleasant and without controversy.

A very nice hotel only 5 minutes walk from the Night Market, set back from the main road. There were plenty of nearby coffee shops for breakfast which we didn't have at the hotel because it was a little too expensive and also the choice was not fantastic by any means.

The place looks brand new, very clean interior and I only saw a few other guests. Friendly and helpful staff. I needed new batteries for the air con remote and this was completed in a couple minutes. Location is also good just a few minutes walk to most places of interest. If you’re lucky enough to go on a Saturday then make sure you go to the (massive) Walking Street market, held just once a week.

They accommodated me with 3 rooms instead of 2 but they also overcharged me. My brother in law who speaks fluent Thai has been trying to resolved the issue. I have yet to receive a credit to my credit card. At this time I have contacted the credit card company to help resolve the issue.

We were in late and out early. Room was comfortable, decent size fridge. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as there was a tour group from another Asian country that was very noisy. Not a fault of the hotel though. Hallways can be noisy also as sound travels well through it. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Appears to be a new hotel.

Hotek is located at a convenient place. Very easily accessible to night bazaar, restaurants, mprning market and Saturday walking street. They also provide free shuttle to Central Plaza which is an additional perk. Hotel facilities are new and well maintained. Worth a stay!

Hotel is central and very close to the bus station. We were able to walk there upon our arrival (only a 7 min walk from bus station terminal 1). It also very close to night baazar and only about 15 min from The White Temple. Overall the condition of the room was nice. The outlets close the bed don't work which sucked when trying to charge your phone. But other than that the I recommend this hotel.
