The location of the hotel is convenient; it’s clean, staff are friendly and the price is reasonable. In some of rooms, windows face walls of a building nearby.

Lovely colonial style boutique hotel

One of my favorite hotels in Nimman. It is done in colonial style and is really charming. It doesn't have a proper restaurant, but it does have a coffee shop that also serves craft beer, and it is surrounded by local restaurants. The Nimman area is one of the best locations in Chiang Mai. Strong recommend.

We stayed near Chiang Mai University because our son was doing a semester abroad. The location was great vibrant night life, lots of dining and shopping. However the hotel was pretty quiet. Hotel was clean and smelled good. Had a a great cafe with excellent coffee

Great small boutique hotel. It is In the center of town close to many shops dining yet it is hidden and quiet. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The rooms are nice and cozy. My only complaint would be the beds are a bit hard but it is expected in Thailand. Great stay.

Loved the vintage theme, location was perfect for walking to shopping, and the hotel café was awesome.

The hotel name is perfect, with all it's charm and hospitality and it's service from the staff. I will definitely make a return stay to this hotel.

A charming hotel in a very good location without all the noise of the area. There was so much character to the room with thoughtful touches and the bed was amazing. I especially liked that the toiletries also came in mini glass reusable bottles. The second floor has a mini snack bar and water bottles for your outings and I found the staff helpful and pleasant. A great choice if you’re looking to stay in Nimman on the main road but not directly on the mai road as it is slightly tucked back w nice trees.

This is a very nice place to stay in Chiang Mai. As its name suggests, it is an older place with character. It is only a short drive from the city centre (the moat). I would certainly stay there again. Beware: the map produced on the Expedia website shows the hotel in the wrong position. Its actual position is in Nimmanahaeminda Road

Not worth the price

We found the hotel online and in the photos it looks great. In fact, the exterior still looks great. This is a classic example where if you don’t appreciate the vintage theme you’re going for, you’re not going to enjoy the hotel. Tv had an analog tv box over it to add to the theme but it blocked the sensor of the actual tv and the speakers muffling the sounds. Hotel wasn’t bad, but there is no way the price is justified. At the same price, you would be able to stay at a 5 star resort that is much nicer and more modern. If you’re into vintage American style, this place is for you. If that doesn’t appeal to you, I would not recommend.

The hotel is great including staff. Location. Furnishings. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places I have stayed while in Chiang Mae. Highly recommend it.
Now the little coffee shop I wasn’t impressed with. The first night I stayed included breakfast which was served at the coffee shop. For 180 Baht I received a brownie and no coffee. I stayed at the hotel for several days because of the bed and took my breakfast business down the street to a place named “Smoothie Blue”. Great food and not overpriced because they serve foreign breakfast. Good coffee as well.

This hotel is in a convenient location, it’s aesthetically nice, and the staff was friendly. But...
There were airplanes flying overhead all afternoon and night that kept us up, and you could hear people in the hallways and other rooms. Far too noisy to get a good nights sleep. The hot water in our shower didn’t work and it took maintenance about 45 minutes to fix it at 11pm. We just wanted to go to sleep, but this was not the right hotel for that.

Very charming hotel in an old villa, well renovated as a hotel. Staff cannot be nicer or more helpful. I booked at the last minute and was given a room on the ground floor with almost no outside view... but except for this it was still very good value for money and a very nice experience

Great atmosphere hotel!

Easy check-in. Every staff members are nice, polite and friendly. Well maintained / clean colonial style interiors and building.
My kids loved a spiral staircase in our own room! Myself enjoyed all kind of different classic looking furnitures. I couldn’t stop taking pictures!
And also, I’m so sensitive with odor. However our room and linens smelled like refreshing flowers. This is big plus for me!
They have a snack room at second floor with full of free water bottles and snacks. This is nice to stop by before or after your long day touring! They also have coffee shop and craft beer bar in same property. 7-11 next door, Maya shopping mall, massage salons, rocal restaurants and stores are walking distance. Really convenient. Only thing, I thought there weren’t much Red Tracks front of hotel. You might want to walk a couple more blocks towards to Maya. You might find more Red Tracks over there. Overall, we are well satisfied!! We’ll stay here again in the future!

Ideal location vintage theme hotel

This hotel just locate in the centre of nimman road, just opposite to 'salad concept', very easy to find. Think park, Maya department store and famous I-berry garden all just few mins by walk from the hotel. The vintage decoration concept is lovely and they even provide free bicycle. For this price range I definitely recommend this hotel.

Cute vintage style hotel tucked away

Stayed a couple nights here. Thought the styling was so so cute and cozy. Perfect for us and felt great to come home too after the hustle and bustle of the city outside. If you enjoy something more sleek/modern than this is not the hotel for you. Book a room with a window on a high floor - we were in the back corner with no outside access really (besides a small sliding door that went to no where). IF we had had this, I would have given the hotel a perfect rating.

Overall super nice staff and love the attached coffee shop!

Lovely retro and old school hotel ...

If you seeking hotel with retro style , then it mustn't be wrong to check-in at Yesterday . From check-in desk till the way to room that you booked , you may see old school stuffs etc the old switches made from Bakelite , film cameras , telephone ... By the way the room with dim lighting thus it is better to check if the staff may assign you a room with view . The breakfast is nice with the half bolied egg . Overall it is a pleasant stay at Yesterday .

Average comfortable hotel in good location

Friendly staff and good car parking faculties. Hotel looks good on the outside but found the room we were allocated dark and dull. Window looked onto a brick wall and the balcony was unusable. Needed to have lights on all of the time as there was no natural light. Noisy internal corridors and doors banging was annoying. Average breakfast. It was our least favourite stay from eight different hotels while touring around Thailand.

Ok Hotel for the Price

You get what you pay for. The hotel was decent enough based on the low cost though it was nothing to write home about. The staff were friendly and helpful which was nice. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was a less than desirable but did the job. Though I would definitely note that the \"shower\" is a shower hose. There is a little holder on the wall but it forces you to stand in an awkward position with the water hitting the shower curtain. The first day we just held it while we showered which was fairly awful but at least let you have a bit more space. The location was great because it was further away from the touristy old city, which may be a negative for some visitors but we appreciated it.

For the money spent, Yesterday hotel was fine but if you're looking for a more refined experience, I would book elsewhere.

Nice hotel, close to Nimmanhaemin Rd.

Small hotel which is really comfortable and warm. I can just walk from my room to Nimmanhaemin road and find every thing I want such as. fun places, famous restuarants, convenience stores, fashion store etc. All staffs are very nice. Hotel coffee's shop is really cozy. That' s good to spend my holiday here.

賑やかな通りから少し入ったところにあり、まるで自分の家のように静かに滞在できました。ホテルの外観、内装ともにこだわりが感じられ、全体的に瀟洒で清潔でした。フロントの方は親切で感じが良く、終始気持ちよく滞在できました。絶対にまた滞在したいです。
