The room was small and compact, featuring only basic amenities and lacking windows. Unfortunately, the thin walls allowed loud banging sounds to be clearly audible, which significantly detracted from the overall staying experience.

Facts of hotel not accurate on hotel.com booking

The rates on hotel.com was almost 3 times the actual walk in rates at hotel. Even though hotel.com states free parking, actually there is no free parking. U park on the street and hope that no one comes to write u a ticket according to the hotel staff!!
Phone was spoilt. There was leftover drinks in fridge from previous guest I supposed.
Fridge was also not cold at all. Can’t call it a fridge. It’s almost like a “cupboard”

Each room only has one key card and if u need more u need to pay , if u need any more stuff, u need to pay.
Don’t book this through hotel.com

Good to be back

Been 3 years since came back for stay due to covid restriction, feels good. Lots of parking lots for parking. Staff is friendly and able to communicate with simple English. Quick check in, clean lobby. Room is good & air-con is working well. Has got hot shower & a quiet place to stay overnight. Overall a good place for short staycation

Terrible stay

Terrible sound insulation makes deep sleeping impossible! What is absolutely ridiculous is that I was told at the front desk that credit card payment is not accepted. A lot of essential toiletries such as comb are missing. No trash bin.

They need some education in definition of suite. A small double room, ordinary standard, and we paid for a suite. Come on. Never met less accommodating staff. We had 6 luggage and none of the 5 staff in lobby even bothered to open the door. Extremely poor service. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Room were clean, and that is the only positive thing to say about Geobay Hotel.

A good stay for a 3 star hotel

Overall a very good place to stay for a 3-star hotel, specially if driving, location is around 30 min drive from Singapore custom, ample open car park space. Nearby got local food courts & restaurant around, and a night disco just 1 min walk away. Hotel consist only 3 floor. The lobby is grant & staff can speak good English, check in is fast. Room is a bit on a smaller scale which consist of a queen bed, a small table & a toilet, but it was neat & clean, I like the lighting & bed is comfy. Air con is cooling & hot showers works. TV on the wall shows both local & Singapore shows. The not so good is Wifi a bit hectic to log in, and there are no windows in room so can't see outside, other than that its all good. Will stay there again

Room is too Small

Checked in around 5pm. Was shocked to receive a pouch containing an Air Con remote control and a TV remote control together with my key card and the deposit slip. Only mentioned to us that we have to bring this pouch back for check out tomorrow. Was very amused why they cannot leave these two remote controls in the Room for convenience sake?? Anyway, the room was very small and the toilet does not have any hangers to hang our clothes. Toilet paper does not have a paper holder at all. Toilet paper was put on the shelf together with shampoo and body gel. The room is so small and there is no windows at all. The highest is 3rd floor and you can hear lots of noise when guests walk in and out. The Wifi is so lack that it cuts off every now and then. For this price, I can look for a better hotel with great amenities nearby. Will never book this hotel again.

New hotel, limited serviced

Great location. Plenty of parking lots. Suitable for locals and independent travellers with own transport. Can be a struggle for families with young children and no transport. Hotel offers basic stay and clean rooms but no service and no meals. Staff speaks mainly berhasa and little english. Many are not locals. They do not know the location and can offer limited help in facilities, services, amenities and attractions. They also cannot help in arranging transport and handphone battery charging. Bring your important essentials.

Was been to the hotel for 1 night of quick escape.
Room was small and wasn’t clean as what been comment in the review. Bed sheet were with yellow stain all over and cover up by blanket.

Excellent value for money!

Hotel is clean and new. Bright, clean and comfy even though room doesn't have windows. Only item missing would be a shower screen to prevent the toilet from getting totally wet. Stone's throw from Tesco. Aeon Mall is nearby as well, 10-15 mins walk. There are lots of F&B shops in the vicinity. There is a makeshift stall/truck selling very tasty lok lok near the hotel at night. Seems to be quite popular. Located at the far end of the row of shophouses next to the hotel.

We book Family suites on New Year eve 2nd night with Expedia comes with 1 king/1queen beds. Spacious room,1 with Jacuzzi tub and 1 common toilets, safe and nice window views for fireworks on eve New year. Extra pillows and comfortable beds. Value for money. Many eateries and cafes nearby, and 15mins walk to Aeon bukit indah or take Grabcar Giant Bestari only rm5-7.

Our 1st night Twin executive room Is a disaster room kind of small for 2A1C is last min decision booking from Agoda as hotel is fully book.
CON: is see-thru shower rooms not suitable for family with kids. No privacy. Hotel management should consider cover up the See-thru toilet. You can't check-in thru mobile hotel confirmation and must show print out. Website should inform us when booking. Finally the check-in guy accept my forwarded email. Additional key card deposit rm$20.
Overall stays is good, clean,comfortable and smoke free hotel. If you come from ciq jb take bus cw6 nearer.

The only downside was that the refrigerator would be switched off when we remove the room card. This almost led to spoilt breastmilk. Perhaps for nursing mothers to consider. You could still get help from reception to store in their fridge.

Great value, classy hotel with an oka-yyy location

The location of the hotel was not that close to AEON Mall. Had to walk across a dark and quiet area to get back at night. Room wasn't soundproof and we could hear the kids next door at night:/ However, the room was modern, clean and the service was good. In-room wifi kept disconnecting and so we decided to get a data card to ease our misery. There are various food options around and we highly recommend the E Pin Bak Kut Teh just behind the hotel :)

The room is spacious. There are 2 bathrooms which is ideal for families. The Jacuzzi bathtub was a nice treat after a long day of shopping. Should give more than 1 access card so that it's more convenient.

Near to favourite malls

Within walking distance of Bukit Indah Shopping Mall, Tesco and Giant. Was surprised to see a lot of fruit stalls selling durians. Food readily available at Osman eating place 24 hrs. Loved the satay.
