Booked a non-smoking room but the room has a lingering cigarette smell when we first entered the room. Room towels were old and bedsheets had stains on it.. Acceptable for budget travellers i feel.

Everything was good except for the thin wall with gaps (windows). From the original design, it should be one big room but the owner divided it up to two rooms which the other end is a bigger window and the partition was not seal up properly with the window glass, leaving some gap there. You could hear the opposite room talking, sneezing, coughing and the phone ringing and vibrating the whole night. you can also smell the coffee they make in the morning... please do something about it. :(

Comfortable hotel

Staffs were helpful and friendly! Able to recommend food delivery at the hotel reception. Was rather out of the way, not centralised area of JB. Though its quiet and not much traffic around the area! Did not provide a tissue box and the tv had some problems with connecting.

i hate the toilet. No glass shower screen. When taking shower water splatter all over the toilet. Advertisement did not state windowless room. Really hate windowless room. This hotel is basically a conversion of 3 storey shop lots to hotel. Pictures shown in Hotels.com ad not same as actual. Don't be fooled by photos posted.

Terrible experience ever!!

This is the worst hotel we have ever paid for! My friend and I tried to check in at hotel at midnight but noticed booked the wrong date at one day before. Although the hotel checked that they do have room available, they refused to provide us the room out of goodwill and turned us away. I requested to the staff that I wish to talk to the manager over the phone but the manager hanged up even before I get to speak! What kind of customer service is this?!? We will definitely not book this hotel again! So unprofessional and not customer-oriented!

Your need a car to move around

Their wifi was strong and good. Around the hotel got food shop and 7-11 is convenient. And night time got security guard outside the hotel to take look at car and they will reserve some parking for customer. Overall is good.

Review for Hermess Hotel

Omy, the stay with small cockroaches! I stay there for 2 days, and I seen cockroach for 2 days! Furthermore is so noisy with the club downstair, only when we are going to sleep at 12 plus, then the loud music start! Please improve on the sound proof and cleanliness. Other than that the WIFI is strong! Good about that!

Very very very basic

Basically just a room, no lift, no room service, no phone in room, no breakfast. Window in room sealed and totally blacked out. Music playing until 2am thank god it was only one night.

This is our 2nd time coming here from SG as it was the best value for money!
Comfort: Uses a really plush bouncy bedding that we dont wanna leave the bed.

Service: staff are really friendly!

Location: There are affordable massages nearby and a really good local food 'Wee Wee' just down the road. It is also in between Sutera Mall and Aeon Bukit Indah hence we really like this location!

Cleanliness: Generally quite clean except for 1 night the bedding was abit dirty like it wasnt cleaned before us.

Price: Really good pricing for those on budget but wants a good stay. Sad that it doesnt have a bathtub and window so we always have to check for timing.

Will definitely come back again though!

Great Hotel!

We enjoyed our stay in Hermess Hotel. It was 15-20 minute taxi ride to Legoland.
Though room was quite small but it was clean and with very comfortable bed and pillows. For the price I can't ask for more. Staff were very accommodating, most especially the Hotel Manager. We will surely comeback to stay in this hotel.

Rooms are very comfortable, nice décor, although kind of secluded, but ample parking, only a few minutes drive to Bukit Tinggi commercial area, not difficult to find food around the area. Staff are courteous. Has to climb the staircase to upper room. Need to request for iron & iron board (& need to pay RM50 as deposit for those items - fully refundable).

No lift. Toilet on a raised platform, very steep. No table or shelf or fridge. No light at shower area makes the toilet look very dim. Noisy at night cos of bar on ground floor.
Plus point- room decor, mirror,hotel decor looks classy n elegant.

Hotel's room without sunlight

I've prebooked 3 nights in this hotel due to no others availability within my travelling area. When entering my room, at first I feel little lucky because the room have window so that I can feel the sunlight. But unfortunately it's not an openable window. Worst, the windows are covered by their big Hermess signboard. End up, the whole days and nights are dark for me. Besides, there are no coffee, tea, sugar or creamer provided inside the room. Only 2 bottles of mineral water, kettle and 2 mugs without spoon. Maybe the items are not included as I've booked via Expedia. Not sure about that. Maybe will stay again but surely the last choice.

Good budget hotel if not for the loud music

Room size was compact but ok. Clean, bed was comfortable and receptionists were friendly. In fact, we did not expect all these from a budget hotel. Only drawback is the loud music from the club next door which went on till early hours of the morning. The walls are thin. Found another budget hotel round the corner where rooms are bigger and clean. Rates also lower and nearer to all the restaurants. Much quieter if you don't like loud music throughout the night.

Decide to try out this highly rated hotel and Hermess Hotel did not disappoint me.
Room facilities, bed,water pressure,air-con, ventilations,tv channels. And not to forget. Wi-fi. Are all fantastic and at tip-top conditions.
Pass by other rooms and find them to be true as website photos, like my 3rd floor Superior King Room. Room size is just nice for couples.there's room for luggage.
Zero Noise from neighbours/road at night.
Reception is helpful, hotel owner,Mr Vincent is really nice,amiable and asked for our feedback on his hotel.
Mr Vincent even told us his proposal to improve his hotel facilities.this really impressed us as this 1.5yrs hotel is already very well-mantained.Salute to all staffs.

Will stay at Hermess again if going Bukit Indah.
