Twin room premium - The beds were so hard, it was like lying on a wooden block. Asked for a mattress topper but made no difference. So uncomfortable. Toilet room looked dirty and stained on the walls. I commented to staff who said it was in need of painting. The toilet and bathroom were at separate ends of the room so you had to walk from toilet to wash your hands in bathroom. It was a reasonable price but we woul,d not return. Rather pay more for comfort.

Close to Ginza subway and 20 min walk to Tokyo station. Close to lots of restaurants.

Only a few minutes walking distance to the Tokyo Metro at Higashi-Ginza. Staff were warm and welcoming. Most amenities are available for self-service at the lobby. Self-service laundry available for a nominal fee, and the machines remain locked for a period after finishing so that you don't have to feel rushed. Did not try the public bath, but rooms were clean and comfortable. You have the option for room service; but, if you decline, they will still give you a new set of towels every day. Wifi worked with no issues, and air conditioning was excellent (<70 degrees Celsius) during summer season. Hair dryer and hangers included.

Only area for potential improvement is having better ventilation in the shower, as it would take a long time to dry out and I didn't see an option outside the shower for turning on a drying fan.

We had a wonderful stay at the square hotel GINZA! The location is perfect. Central to everything we needed in Tokyo and just a short walk to Tokyo Station, which made getting around super easy. The rooms are cosy but exceptionally clean, and the entire hotel is spotless and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. For the price, this hotel is amazing value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo! Arigatōgozaimasu!

Great location, clean, the pillows are not great and the mattress is hard. The lighting in the bathroom is very dark. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room had no view, but appreciated that it was quiet. Room is tiny, but usual Japan standard room.

all in all our stay was fantastic! the hotel is conveniently located to train stations and the main ginza shopping district. it was very comfortable for our 5 night stay. we did not use the facilities so i can’t comment on that, however, if i did have any complaints it would be the lack of ventilation in the room - the ac system did not work therefore it was stuffy and hot in the room. overall, i would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

Great location/ book larger rooms.

Very good location - hip and chicer than Shibuyer and shinjuku. On the East side of Tokyo which is easier to get to sites. Drawbacks - standard room is tiny - one twin against wall which is against other bed. Very hard beds and odd design choices like no light at bathroom mirror and no closet or drawer space. It’s a puzzle if there are two staying there. Pluses- nice condition, location, and service. Fresh breakfast is very nice and lobby has a good vibe.

The hotel is a short walk away to Higashi-Ginza, Ginza, Yurakucho Station which makes it very convenient to get around. It's easy to get to Narita or Haneda Airport too via Exit 3 (elevator) of Higashi-Ginza Station next to the Kabuki Theatre. Food options are plenty and the main shopping area is just 2-3 roads walk away and takes less than 10 mins walk.

The room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay and the staff were very friendly! We really enjoyed the winter specials (apple pie & apple tea latte) from the cafe at the lobby as well.

Had to self scan our passports on arrival using a machine, which was a bit of a nightmare after travelling for 30 hours. Staff weren’t very helpful and just left us to it, then were rude to us and laughing amongst themselves when the machine cancelled the process. Put a bit of a dark shadow over our stay, after having such positive experiences with hotel staff during our other stays. Toilet is in a different room to the sink and shower. Toilet room had sparks/stains of goodness knows what up the walls. Nice area to stay in Ginza, close to everything

Its a great value hotel. Very efficient, ver ergonomic , meaning: the size of the shower, bath, the room and bed, even the window is maximized for user friendliness, but it is on a small efficient scale. It is by no means a Four Seasons, nor a typical \"bijinesu-man hoteru\". It is efficiency sized, but actually more enjoyable than a Japanese Businessman hotel. Its smaller, comparably priced and fun! They really worked on the look and feel of the place. You feel like you're in a cool Kimpton or a budget Ian Shrager property (which doesnt exist).
The only set back if you're staying for more thana day or two, is that the breakfast is the same, EVERYDAY! Not the endof the world as there are a ton of eating options in the area. Otherwise, the Service is wonderful! Well trained, all so helpful and thorough. VERY good value!

I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now due to its great location - so close to many subway lines! Very easy to get to.

Room is a small but not unexpected as it is central Tokyo.

The room is well equipped with a safe, fridge (with bottled water, free of charge), amenities (there are more at the entrance if I need more).

There is a little gym and the public bath too, the public bath is a great idea after a long day of meetings.

Easy modern check-in and out process, friendly staff and a lovely bar too. Had a modern superior twin room. Loved that there was a sliding door in the corridor bit of the room which had a sink in addition to the sink thats already in the bathroom. Plus the room had a mini standalone mirror which is handy if you wear contacts. Cutlery is available at the amenities station (in addition to usual bathroom amenities) which is really useful.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the square hotel! Personally, felt it was slightly overpriced and definitely the smallest room we have stayed at in Japan. The beds are rock hard, like the hardest mattress you can imagine lol which my boyfriend didn’t completely mind but I can’t sleep well on super hard beds so I found them very uncomfortable. Location is good! Close to Tsukiji market.

It's a nice hotel and the public bath is a nice amenity if you've spent all day walking. The room was bigger compared to Tokyo's hotels standards. My only complain is that my shower had a weird smell and we had to leave the door open to air it out. I didn't bother complaining because I was only staying one night.

The bed was a bit hard but everything else was great! The location is amazing, so much good food within walking distance. The public baths had an “outdoor” section which was a nice surprise. The deluxe twin room we had had some seating on the side which we were able to put 2 open luggages on, so that was a nice surprise. The room is still tiny for American standards but everything was well placed so there was space to sit around. New towels hung on the door on days we forwent cleaning. Check in and check out was self serviced and they helped you if you needed it. Very new and modern and clean. We would definitely stay again. There’s a restaurant that serves chicken rice bowls 2 doors down that opens early and closes late, so that was a nice additional option other than the 2 convenience stores and McDonald’s nearby.

- One of the larger hotel rooms I've had in Tokyo, with a sizable tub
- Cleaner comes in the moment I left the hotel room for the day and it's done within 2 hours
- Public hot bath on level 2 (this is not hot spring water)
- Located on the quieter part of Ginza, noting there's a construction site right across the street
- There are several Lawson, FamilyMart around

Cons:
- Located away from the main Ginza station (circa 10-15mins away)
- The closest subway, Higashi-ginza, does not have an elevator, and each platform has its own exit/entry

The hotel is modern and clean, however the room was very small despite getting the Deluxe Double which is one of the large rooms available. Staff were helpful, the toilet and bath in the room were brilliant.
We had a coffee in the bar which again was great service.
The room would be a great size for a solo traveler, but for 2 nights it was a tight squeeze for 2 adults with luggage which is why the lower rating. Also, the aircon controller was positioned directly opposite the bed so we kept waking up cause of the green light on it and had to cover it with a shirt as we could not locate a way to turn off the light but keep the air con on.

Excellent location, great customer service, and easy check-in and check-out. Closest JR station is a 10 min walk away. Closest metro station is a 4 min walk away. There is a coin washer/dryer on the second floor, but it is recommended to only do light loads sjnce the machines are a bit small. Toilettries are available to take if you're missung something.

Luggage transportation to another hotel is available if you don't want to travel with luggages throughout the day and you're heading out to another city. Be mindful of the timing for delivery though. If you request it at check out and you are leaving for Osaka or Kyoto, it will arrive the next day.

The hotel room is filthy, and my daughters spotted a stain on the bed! The personnel are unfriendly, and one of the front desk workers always has a long face and is impatient when we ask for information. Also, when we checked out that day and asked if we could leave our luggage for an hour for breakfast before travelling to the airport, the hostile male staff had an attitude that he didn't like it! I understand that many hotels provide essential services. Also, the rooms smell odd and are not clean or fresh; most importantly, our rooms are so dark that I felt I was trapped and no escape ! I almost wanted to leave the next day, but I had purchased the rooms, and there was no refund, so I had no choice but to stay there! So far, I've stayed in many different hotels in Japan, and this is by far the worst. I think calling them a hotel is misleading; they should be classified as a guest hotel! Anyways, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone 😔

The location was great and area walkable. The staff of the hotel did not speak english and were a bit rude. They did not let you drink or eat anything on the common areas (e.g lobby) that was not bought from the hotel. I believe this was our right as we are paying the hotel and they should have a common area where we can sit down and eat or chat without being kicked out. The room did not have a table or chairs so where are we suppose to eat snacks or anything ? Staff did not want to help or took the time to explain why. The gym only had 3 machines for cardio? but did not have any weights or mats. Breakfast was okay - same food every day. Not many options. Beds were comfortable but they should provide pillows of different styles. Overall okay but extremely expensive for what it is.

The toilet stopped working around 11pm and we couldn’t get a new room till after midnight .. But somehow they gave us a even smaller room which we had a table and chair in the old room. And we didn’t even have enough space to open my suitcase in the new room :( but it was so late I didn’t want to ask for another room
