The hotel was fine but I cut my stay early and left after one night because it’s impossible to sleep. There is a nightclub on site that plays music loudly until 3am. I can’t undertake why they have this - completely goes against the hotels positioning as a luxury boutique relaxing experience. Management refused to given me a refund for the night I didn’t stay. The gym and spas is also non existent (two treadmills in a tiny room) and the service is as basic.

I mostly come to this hotel for spa treatments. The girls who give you the treatments are very good and they make you super happy and relaxed. Before the treatments you can have either sauna or steam room. I highly recommend body wrap but other massages are also very good

The rooms, some are smaller some bigger, but all rather nice

Breakfast is fine, simple

As to dinner, we could not get any. No menú no wine list waiters confused and untrained. We waited for a couple minutes and left for a real restaurant in downtown

I will still come back, soon, for the spa, but dinner eslewhere

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The grounds are very lovely with beautiful plants, and at the time we visited decorated for the holiday including an extensive art exhibit of which we purchased two pieces. The building is a beautiful mansion in good condition. The pool is on a smaller side but lovely. We took spa treatments every morning, and these were excellent. Other than a small and beautiful sauna, there are no other spa elements such as pools or hamams. The dining anreas are lovely but we only had breakfasts, no dinners. Unfortunately we had no chance to visit their underground bar that also hosts karaoke. Our suite was lovely and comfortable. We intend to visit again.

Old world charm just outside Centro.

A pretty place, well tended A/c remote is old school and so a little spotty. The hotel did its best to help. Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable enough. Breakfast with the room is plain and limited but the service was excellent and the menu offerings are quite nice. Near a bus into Centro, so a good alternative at an affordable price. Nice bar as well. I’ll stay there again.

I stayed at the Casa Bonita for two nights during my visit to Oaxaca. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, I was told that the restaurant is still open, and they have room service. The front desk was particularly helpful in helping arrange taxis and my 4 AM trip to the airport.

Property itself needs updates. Soiled stained sheets should he discarded and replaced.
Broken tiles and build up around the pool should be maintained.

Provide updates and keep visitors informed about numbers to dial for services

Do not advertise spa services if most of the time there is no one there.

El hotel es bonito, limpio. El desayuno esta incluido pero solo consta de dos huevos , cafe y te solamente. el pan hay que pagarlo aparte. Esta a 16 minutos del centro , 41 del aeropuerto. Tienen servicio de transporte pero para el aeropuerto hay que pagarlo aparte, y para ir al centro hay que hacer turnos y puede que aveces si te llevén y muchas otras NO. En cuanto al servicio al cliente en el front desk puedo resaltar a Eduardo y el desayuno a Nicolas y Carmen , el resto necesita un entrenamiento para tratar un poco mas amable a los huéspedes ...... La piscina necesita mantenimiento , el agua se ve un poco turbia y exageradamente fría.

Hotel is very nice, the food is great !!!! Be sure to visit the Spa while you are there. The staff at the bar is very friendly.
The only issue I had was the AC in my room only worked the first 2 days then it stopped blowing cold air. i reported it 3 times but only got checked once with no help.

The Hotel is avg at best. I attempted to book a massage apparently one time slot of availability. If a peacefull night sleep is important to you, do not stay on the exterior first floor as you can hear everything from the patio bar not to mention exterior lighting stays on until midnight (no black out curtains) As the hotel sits it's not worth $200 plus a night. The beds are old shower had sitting water yada yada. The property has some character but no views no energy. The manager avoided any interaction with us the entire time. At min a greeting would be nice after all you are in the people business lol This property lacks in most all other areas. Service was what it should be. Until next time Oaxaca. At $100 a night I might be able to recommend this hotel but @$200 plus it's a hard no for us.

El hotel está bonito, muy limpio y relativamente cerca del centro pero la habitación que nos asignaron (15) está pegada al restaurante y el ruido fue muy molesto. Comienzan a mover sillas, mesas, platos, ruido de cocina etc desde las 5:30am y en la noche igual se escucha el movimiento del restaurante aproximadamente hasta las 11:30-12. Tienen alberca pero no la tienen con calefacción todo el tiempo por lo que si quieres usarla deberás avisar unas 3-4 horas antes para que esté a una temperatura aceptable (en época de frío es imposible meterse si está fría). Desconozco si en las otras habitaciones se escucha ruido todo el tiempo pero para nosotros si fue un desacierto pues no logramos descansar.

Property is ok. Food is very good and at fair prices. Most of the satff is friendly, but there is always this one person that nows NOTHING about the hospitality philosophy and makes your stay a bit harsh ... You are about a 15 min drive away from downtown. Hotel assures and advertises a parking lot, which they do not have. This was issue for us and made our stay have a dark rice. There is no elevator, Rooms are not so big nor spacy. This makes them sort of small and with limited storaging space. Rooms have all interior view; this makes them a bit noisy and with cero outside view. Their internet connection is very, very unstable and unreliable, something that today becomes a terrible deal for all of us as guests. I offered to pay with AMEX, and they requested another card/FORM OF PAYMENT ( Visa / MC ) since they did not like guests paying with AMEX ... OVERRALL RESUME: Give it a try and decide for yourself what you think about this hotel. In my case, next time I am in OAXACA, I will try some other options ...

The staff at Casa Bonita was so helpful , warm and welcoming. No detail was overlooked. The hotel was so accommodating that there was never a reason to leave its beautiful grounds. The spa service was dreamy! The complimentary breakfast was gourmet, so delicious! There is even a bar on the grounds!

Located in a residential area,15 minutes from City Central Oaxaca. Howver, they do have a free shuttle to take you there. Had to switch rooms because the A/C in the first room did not work properly. Second room was comfortable. Decorating is a bit weird--everything is purple and the mermaid murals are something else. Mainly Mexican tourists stay there. We had some language problems because many of the staff do not speak Spanish and we do not speak English. Food was good except for the complimentary breakfast which was disappointing. Also, many of the items on the menu are tradional Oaxaca which were reluctant to try. The people were extremely nice.

Great staff, were very accommodating and helpful, a few things I wished we knew ahead of time. The shuttle from/to airport is not free and though your breakfasts are part of your stay (free) if you tip the server (a must) and then right that tip amount on the receipt, they will charge you that cost at the end again (not a huge deal, but should've been mentioned prior too). The pool was great, but a little confused on if we could bring our own drinks to the area, versus having to buy from the bar... but overall stay was awesome! Would stay here again, now that we are aware of the small items.

My husband and I went to Oaxaca with another couple for Day of the Dead celebrations. Hotel was great with comfy rooms, great food, good location and friendly staff. They provided shuttle transportation to the city center and arranged tours that were reasonably priced. I’d definite go back!

Boutique Hotel in a residential neighborhood

Cass Bonita is located in a residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes by car from the city. The hotel provides a shuttle until 5 pm. We arranged an airport pickup and drop off and were charged a reasonable fee. We were upgraded at no charge to a bigger room with our own balcony. It's a very comfortable and extremely clean place to stay. We couldn't be happier with the customer service we received. The entire staff was very nice and we felt that they truly appreciated our business. The restaurant on the property was great. Our stay included a continental breakfast but we had other options off the menu. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend Casa Bonita for anyone traveling to Oaxaca. Thank you Francisco and the entire staff for making our trip enjoyable.

Casa Bonita is just a short distance from the Zocala. They provide free van service to the Zocala area with only about a 20-30 minute notice. The trip takes about 5-10 minutes. The hotel is beautiful, recently remodeled and expanded. They treat you as an honored guest and are very friendly. I kept telling my husband that it would be a beautiful setting for a small wedding. I especially enjoyed the outdoor dining area with it's chandeliers, music and beautiful service. There are many areas to sit outside and just enjoy the peace and quiet. A very nice place to relax after all the excitement of the zocala and after going on the various tours available in Oaxaca.

My sister and I werent sure how it would work out to be outside of Oaxaca since we didnt have a car, but we were very happy with our choice.The fresher air and quiet were very welcome. Delightful breakfasts in the garden. Taxis were very reasonable and buses run every 10 to 20 minutes from a block away (super cheap) and take about 15 minutes to the center of town. We were there for the Day of the Dead celebration -- very lovely and intimate in the cemetary of San Felipe, just 2 blocks from the hotel .The hotel's main areas' decor lacks typical Mexican charm, but the bedrooms are pleasant ,spacious and very clean. Best of all was the smiling , helpful service.

Buenas noches , tarde en poner mi reseña esperando que se resolviera la situación que vivimos en el hotel .
Rente 5 habitaciones, el hotel es muy bonito , pero al arreglar la habitación abrieron la caja fuerte y nos robaron dinero , reporte ala recepción y no tuvimos respuesta , al segundo día al acércame al recepción, notamos que otro huésped español! estaba reportando que en su habitación le había sustraído dinero de su caja fuerte y fue en ese momento cuando solicitamos hablar con la gerente para la devolución del dinero sustraído(robado) de la caja fuerte, la cual nos hizo sentir que le estábamos mintiendo y que era imposible ya que confiaba en toda su gente, nos solicitaron que metiéramos un oficio , y que al día siguiente llegaría un abogado para resolver el tema que entraría el seguro , el cual nunca apareció! Tenemos videos donde varios huéspedes estábamos reclamando y nos comentaron que nos contactarían y hasta el momento nada ! Creemos que la gerencia y la recepción estaban deacuerdo , ya que cuando se reportó el incidente lo anotaron y cuando le solicitamos al siguiente turno de la recepción , no se encontró ninguna anotación.
En fin una desagradable experiencia y cero empatía con los huéspedes !

The service at breakfast was poor. We had to wait at least half an hour for the coffee every morning, even though breakfast was included in our booking for most items we had to pay separately like fruit juice, bagels, or pancake. This is not what I expect when I have booked a luxury hotel, including breakfast I expect a luxury breakfast.

El lugar me encantó , por comentarios de otras personas que se quedaron en otros lugares sin duda esta fue la mejor opción
Solo el café del desayuno al estar en Oaxaca pensaría que sería más rico , ojalá lo cambien

Personalen var trevliga och hjälper dig med det mesta.
Köket som lagar maten måste jag ge ett extra plus för. För det var riktigt bra och dom levererade både frukost och kväll.
Konsten som dom säljer på hotellet är så mäktig

El personal muy amable, servicial y atento.
Las habitaciones están limpias, son cómodas y cuentan con los elementos esenciales como un buen secador, suficientes enchufes refrigerador y limpieza diaria.
Comida y bebidas La calidad de la comiday las bebidas exelentes, almuerzos y comidas 10 de 10 mis felicitaciones para el Chef excelente platillos con exquisitos sabores.
Ubicación retirada del centro 20 minutos lo que hace a este lugar muy pacífico y muy tranquilo.lo mejor que cuentan con servicio de traslado para el centro y para el aeropuerto muy conveniente.
Excelente me volvería a quedar en este hermoso lugar.
