We got a room in an old building area and seems like only us staying there.. once check in our bathroom was leaking and channel on tv is not working.. we need to call for a maintenance.. luckly its only took afew minute to fix the problem.. staff also not so friendly especially in front desk..

Strategic location, easy access to all the interesting places in KT. Room is clean, staff are friendly and attentive, particularly front desk staff. Breakfast is good and delicious, even though the replenishment of dishes is rather slow but overall okay. We had pleasant stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed 1 night from 28 july to 29 july with 3 children (aged 9yo, 6yo and 2yo). We booked deluxe room with extra bed.
- room: spacious and not too seasoned. still got extra space eventhough had fit in extra bed.
- bed & pillows are comfy.
- cleanliness: satisfied
- breakfast: variety and OK. Main dish was Nasi Dagang.
- pool: big and clean. there are main pool and children pool
- staff: friendly
Overall, satisfied with the hotel. Will come back again.

Nothing special...just compromise

Well, this property have parking at the basement, once you park the car there is no proper sign board to go to lobby. Since parking area is big its difficult to find lobby entrance. Next you will be asked for 50 RM as miscellaneous deposit which is never mentioned while booking. You will be getting only one key for room, if you wish to go out then all cooling devices such as aircon and mini refrigerator will be off...not good. Next come the issue.. WiFi.. its not to mention they have WiFi but for name sake only. Its poor..will be on and off always..if on cant use whatsapp also. One can imagine the speed of it...worst... Next there is nothing to nearby distance..there is no beach nearby as mentioned.. room Size is small...beds are OK.. break fast is good.. still can improvise.. Air conditioning is outstanding.. we need to off it many times because of cooling. Overall i can say.. need improvement in many segments of hotel... i would suggest find other option if get it..Else compromise and stay here...Nothing special

In general, the overall cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom, could be improved. The shower without a shower screen was quite annoying as the bathroom floor gets all wet after a shower.

The service at Cahaya cafe is poor.

The wifi was not working during my stay.

The location was good. Near the beach and food was within reached. However, the staff was not so professional. Given the standard of the hotel, everything seem acceptable. Breakfast was great. Thanks to the manager who managed to comfort us with some complaints we raised. One of the rooms got cockroaches. Please do the pest control maintenance.

Okay, not bad la.

Everything was okay, i love the hotel provide iron and iron board for my room (so i didnt need to go outside and find one) water heater function properly.. however, air cond was not so cold (for me it is fine but for people who easily get ‘hot’ i think it is quite uncomfortable). Not sure if the problem is only happen at my room. My room was at the ‘old building’ and parking lots for us is quite far (the nearest is quite limited) . Lack of signage, i’m quite confuse where i should go. Breakfast was great :)

Room Cleanliness is the jaw dropping.

Booked under my daughter's reservation staycation from 20-21 Nov. Room 4007; Stay in Deluxe King room facing pool view is spectacular. Extra bed can be placed which is greatful. However at night while about to sleep, husband saw a running to & fro living thing by the bedside table. And climb up the curtain which is sounds like spiderman but it was actually a mouse. Typically an animal should not be in the guestroom at all. The bedsheet and duvet were dirty.. holy goodness! Cant compared to 5-star hotels but this experience is worst than a 4-star hotel. I was terrified and speechless to mention it to the hotel staffs as this should be part of a SOP of a hotel. I guess the cleanliness standard has dropped drastically as this is worst than our previous stay with Permai Hotel years back. My standard and trust with the hotel just disappeared with thin air as I know how important for a room clean as my daughter works at a 5-star hotel in Singapore for years. I would suggest a pest control do a monthly check at least and the Housekeeping team should inspect the room thoroughly before guest check-in. Although I did an early check-in, this should not be an excuse of why the room is not cleaned. This needs to be fixed.

Being far from KL I totally did not expect the touch panel for lights, that was super awesome, bravo! And the toilet too, very modern. I liked these modern and minimalist touch. Well done.

Then at breakfast I found some presentations rather splendid too, especially that you served cold cuts. I don't think many local-themed hotels do.

Didn't get to check out the pool though, shame, I did book this hotel because of location and swimming pool.

But great stay! Probably the whole hotel can go through a phase by phase upgrade into a totally modern hotel?

Loved it. (Oh, maybe except the channels on TV)

It's located at one of the major road in town and it is very near the beach, less tha 5 minues drive. One can also jog to the park next to the beach in less than 5 minutes but be careful as you need to cross the main road, no predetrian crossing available in front of hotel and it would be great to have one there. Breakfast range was much better than many of similar star hotels I've been in Kuala Terengganu. I also love the lively calling of prayers that it is so spiritually good for me. I didn't managed to use the gym or pool but im sure it ia quite decent. Only thing I would suggest is to upgrade the 2nd lobby which is quite old looking.
