I have no chance to Check In. There was no one at the desk. I was ringing the bell again and again. The office door was open. I went in knock on the door. It’s like haunted. I contact Hotel.com and cancelled the booking. I will never go there again. First two stay were great. Not this time

A COSY HOTEL WITH GOOD LOCATION.

Quite clean but the housekeeper did not replace the facial tissue box on 2nd day but only took out the empty box.
When 2 pax stay in a room, I expect 2 laundry bags be provided.
The carpet is worn out & should be replaced. So is the worn out/broken wire cable to the iron.
The car part should be lighted for better security.

Room was large and furniture was new, but the carpet and the bathroom are dated. I did not get to try out the other amenities though. The wifi speed could be improved. But it was a comfortable night's sleep. Dinner at their restaurant on the top floor was good too. It overlooked a spectacular view of the river

Great location and view of the river. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Check in and out were easy. Rooms were large and well designed with good lighting. They were comfortable. A/C worked well. Breakfasts were great. Bathrooms were in need of repairs of the grout around the tiles (some was worn right down or missing) and severe cleaning of the grouted areas. That said, there was plenty of hot water and the showers worked well.

The scenery was beautiful, got the room that ovesees the river and Pulau Duyong. Love the breakfast..they serve varieties..we also took a brisk walk to the Waterfront and tried the food at Payang Serai which was just next to the hotel. Nice experience..

Felda Residence is a convenient location, but dated. The bed is clean but the toilet doesn't flush, no wifi in the room so you have to go to lobby for usage, the carpet in the room have iron marking, chairs were dirty, small tv with bad reception and no hot water shower even though we turned it to the hottest setting.

Beside from that, the staffs are super nice and it's really close to Chinatown where you can walked to get breakfast and lunch. Pizza Hut and KFC close by along with local foods. There are no taxis on the road so you would want to use Grab App to hail a ride.

I loved our view which was facing the river, though the windows were dirty. The room itself was old and carpet was dirty. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a nonsmoking floor. There was evidence of cigarette buds left on carpets in hallway. The breakfast had good selection of Malaysian food and western foods. Internet was poor in the rooms. I couldn't connect at all to the free wifi. Good location. We were able to walk to Chinatown and around to market pretty easily. I would recommend this place only for a short stay. We only stayed one night. The bed itself was clean and comfortable. This place just needs a major update.

The place to go to die!!!

This is the most depressing hotel that I have ever stayed in! The decor was a dark brown and I suspect had not been decorated since it was originally built. This gave the appearance that it was dirty but I think it was just worn in. Even the staff appeared depressed- no surprises, I think I would too if I had the misfortune of having to work there.

This is my third stay, the front office staff are very friendly and helpful, but the staff in the restaurant don't seem to like their job if their grim demeanor is anything to go by.Food choices are so-so at breakfast, the Laksa Terengganu was extremely salty, i had to give up after two spoonfuls.bread choices only white bread.. very boring.My German guest was appalled.She had stayed in tourist resorts in Tunisia and raved on about the food choices there.The rooms need to be constantly repaired and maintained.Some idiot had used a hot iron on the carpet, so there were lots of iron-shaped stains, as well as broken tiles and even plaster ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom with rat-or Musang sized holed in it. (Room 1002).Mysterious red droppings appeared.My guest was freaked out.
The fact that you now charge for parking at the hotel parking lot is acceptable, after all we need a safe place for our vehicle while on the islands. I think maintenance and staff attitude is a big issue. The location and the river view are still great.

Best value for money hotel

Room 1403 gives a good view of the river and its surrounding including the bridge and the Crystal Mosque. Breakfast at 17th Floor is awesome with breathtaking view of the mountains in the background and the river in the fore.
Shell Out restaurant near the hotel dished out cheap but delicious western food. I had the best value for money of lamb chop for dinner. I will definitely come again for the lamb chop if not the hotel.
