This is a 4-star hotel, according to Google Map. But the room is very small. The coffee packet is instant 3-in-1 (coffee, creamer & sugar, which I as a prediabetic cannot drink (or for people who prefer black coffee). The soundproof is not good, and we could hear noise through the wall. Many things at the breakfast buffet is lukewarm or cold. My friend took a meat bun and found the meat inside cold. On the plus side, there's an anti-slippery mat in the shower. This is my second time staying at the hotel. I most likely would try another hotel in Taizhong next time.

Rude & Completely Not Flexible Front Desk !!
I arrived the hotel at 2pm, they insisted check-in was 3pm, even though the room they organized for me was fully cleaned, ready, and inspected by their room supervisor. I know this as my family has the room right next door and they asked the staff about the status of my room! Completely not flexible staff and rude at the front desk!! Traveling with two children and lots of luggages they still insisted I wait till 3pm sharp!
To top it off, the towels are super filthy, smokey smell to it, and wondering how they do laundry!

The room although not spacious, has all the basic necessities. Breakfast has both local and international items although it's not a big spread. The only downside is that the shower area is a wooden bath tub with no shower curtain and the spray of the handheld inevitably wet the toilet floor.

This is one of the best hotels to stay at in Taichung for a reasonable rate. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. There is a nice gym downstairs, with a massage chair, and a clean laundry room right next to it. I would recommend this hotel for anyone in the Taichung area.

They have this amazing massage chair in the gym, along with other excercise machines...and the laundry is free and easy to use. Breakfast is also very bountiful, you can find almost anything you want to eat, although you should get there early. The bathroom shower has a nice rain flow and it is s pleasure to take s nice shower there, as well as the beds are very comfortable, with a nice comforter and pillows. It is s very nice, clean, comfortable place to stay in Taichung. I would recommend it to anyone.

I like this hotel very much. It is clean and tidy. Staff are polite and friendly. It rained heavily when I stayed. The young staff lady served us not only by helping us call a taxi, but also by taking us outside to the taxi with a big umbrella, asking us to beware of not to get wet. I don't think it is her duty to do so much but she really did more than she should. I greatly appreciated it!

The hotel looks and feels new, and it was obvious that a lot of attention was paid to detail. I definitely felt that there was an effort to appeal to foreign guests as well as domestic. The room was not spacious by western standards, but was quite nice for Asia with everything that you would need in a room provided. It is a ten minute walk from the main boulevard/bus lines, but it is very central.

It’s a brand new hotel converted from an old building. The location is central enough. The decor is modern with up to date amenities. Loved the toilet/ bidet combo. However, I am guessing when they remodeled they didn’t change the windows. It did nothing to block the street noise. Luckily they put me on the 15th floor so it was tolerable. I would stay here again in the back side of the building. The price is very good for what you get.
