We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Elizabeth Cebu. The hotel is very accessible to everywhere — malls, restaurants, hospitals, and tourist spots are all just a short distance away, which made everything so convenient for us. The location is truly perfect, especially if you want to be near the heart of the city.

The staff were warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, making it easy to relax after a long day. The ambiance feels cozy and welcoming, and the overall experience was smooth and stress-free.

We had a nice room (410) but had to be moved our last night! This was frustrating as everything had to be packed up and relocated.
Second room was smaller and was for wheelchair people. Room (418)was not as nice and we were disappointed that we were not given choice of a nicer room, the air conditioner was very noisy all night.
We felt like we paid for a deluxe room and got a smaller room.
A couple staff members were very helpful. The front staff seemed frazzled, but they were nice.
The front entrance allows smokers and one afternoon, they left fast food wrappers and other trash all over the ground. Cigarette butts also. Your staff did clean it up and I feel sorry they have to clean up after other people who are slobs. Maybe something for trash and cigarette butts could be looked into.

Pro: The hotel is absolutely first class. The staff are excellent, professional, amicable and respectful! The rooms are better than most US hotels like in Vegas. Amenities in the room outclass most. It’s a fabulous place to stay. I recommend to everyone to stay in this hotel. I will definitely come back here!
Con: My only comment is the bed not suitable for my achy back but that’s understandable. And lastly, breakfast can use a little improvement with respect to choices. But the omelette station right there as you walk in at the dining room is one heck of a beautiful and perfect idea!

I was charged upon check in. I got a huge migraine after landing in Cebu on Jan 3rd. The room was only booked for a single night before we moved onto our other destination, so I was just focused on getting into the room to rest. I was charged about about 7700 pesos for the room. We paid in PHP cash. After we left there and I was thinking about it, I realized that room has actually PREPAID since October. I should not have been charged anything at all. They never gave me a reciept, I keep all my reciepts and could not find this one even just the very next day, and could not recollect them offering me one. They gave me a deposit slip (php1000) that I was told to teturn the next day to recieve my deposit which I did. I got the money, they took the deposit slip. While I rested the others in my group were free to explore. They reported the breakfast food was cold, the pool inaccessible. The gym had no ventilation. At least parking was convenient. I want a refund.

Within walking distance from the hotel is a shopping center with whatever you want, with many shops and restaurants. Although a busy area, the walking around the neighborhood is reasonably safe. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and with good service and a nice breakfast buffet. Plus very friendly people and service staff.

The key card did not work more than one time. It was ridiculous. House cleaning makes the bed and that’s it. There’s a soda cup on the floor of the bathroom that I’ve just been waiting for the house cleaning to pick up. They have reused water bottles with sink water in them. It’s super gross. Hallways stink. Pay the extra $15 USD and stay at waterfront down the street.

Your in center city so yes traffic but still easy get taxie, shopping mail is only like 8 minutes to walk. It a great place, and yes very hot water for shower.
This will be one of my main stays when i visit again.

The loop into the hotel made ride pickup and drop off very easy.
The breakfast was amazing(at least for my stay). I didn't add it during my booking but purchased morning of and was glad i did.

I have stayed at this property many times over the last seven years and found the staff to be excellent. The hotel is rather aged, but they do their best to keep it looking as good as possible.

Breakfast on some days is superb and other days, often lacking of food selection, and often times they do not refill in a timely fashion. I am surprised that they can have anywhere from 30 to 150 people, dining for breakfast, and yet they have one small toaster that can handle two pieces of bread. The restaurant staff is very pleasant and efficient and keep the area very clean. I keep coming back because it's the kind of hotel that can make you feel at home.

One of the best highlights is the Ayala Center Mall is just a three minute walk and a very large metro grocery store that has absolutely everything at your fingertips.

Sometimes breakfast is included in the room charge and other times it is not depending on who you book with and what rate you can find online on third-party websites. But the cost of the breakfast is very reasonable. Should you have to pay and very young children are often charge only once for two children.

The location is very centralized and convenient. Are they 24 hour 7-Eleven store just a three minute walk away?

The biggest highlight is the front desk, staff and supervisors as they are fast and efficient and pleasant and helpful as can be.

The hotel is very safe are they doorman 24 hours a day and the porters are efficient and pleasant.

The staff and guest service was amazing. This made up for the dated-ness of the furniture and the room. Unfortunately, we experience tiny cockroaches that came out of the bathroom drain. Hence the lower score on cleanliness. We weren't too freaked out but other guest in the future may well be. We would definitely still recommend this hotel to family and friends staying in Cebu City.

I stayed one night and asked to cancel the rest of my stay because a super typhoon was approaching and I didn’t feel safe. The hotel said it was ok to that I needed to contact hotels.com for refund.I called Hotels.com and they said they would provide a refund after speaking with the Elizabeth hotel. I left the country thinking everything was taking care of but now I received a email saying the refund couldn’t happen because they could reach the hotel. So now I am in a endless email chain and calling daily to figure out why this is happening. Very unprofessional and not putting customers safety first over profit.

I booked this hotel for my parents - they found it neat and clean, had good a/c, and exceptional customer service. They had issues with the bathroom sink not draining, and the hotel staff were there almost immediately to assist. The hotel is within walking distance from Ayala Center, a major Cebu mall and the location is convenient. 10/10, would recommend.

The hotel is very well maintained. Cleanliness and amenities are excellent. However, there are rooms for improvement given that this is a relatively old hotel. for examples, the lightings in the rooms are dark, some corners in the bathrooms need to be re-painted or remodeled, some towels are wearing out. The hotel has a restaurant which provides excellent services and food too. In overall, hotel staffs including the receptions are very friendly and helpful. I will most likely come back to stay here if their rate remains competitive.

The checkin process was alright. They required ID’s for all guests. The elevator was secured because only guests with a keycard could use it. The room was too dim for me, I was looking for another light source because I felt there was not enough light in the room. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable.

Pros:
1.Location - Best neighborhood to stay for convenience (Ayala, ATMs, food, laundry) in Cebu City.
2. Good size room with king size bed and lots of seating in room

Cons:
1. Room had roaches (bugs), mostly in the bathroom. Maybe because of un-patched crack near power outlet.
2. WiFi was spotty and slow when it finally worked.
3. Front desk didn't have change. Most hotels do.
4. House keeping entered our room in the morning, even though do not disturb was on the door. Very upsetting.
5. In room phone didn't work, had them fix once but stopped working again.
6. TVs are small. Should be upgraded at least to 40 inch
7. Only 4 hangers in closet, no iron or ironing board
8. Some towels and sheets had stains
9. Gym had 2 machines (treadmill and bike) that were not functional. Bathroom in gym didn't have toilet paper, soap, water or towels
10. Room could use a dresser for storage

No WiFi, no house phone not working, towels were looked dirty, we went to restaurant for coffee I had no cash on my hand but the waiter told me that we cannot charge our coffee to my room for credit card, the resataurant staffs wanted to pay cash right away for our cup of coffee for 269.00 for small 2 cups of cofffee but I insisted to charge it to my room for I had no cash on hand and I paid insisted to use my credit card for some reason. Tha hotel stuffs were so unprofessional what a shame .

Wonderful surprise from our vacation in Cebu

The room is clean but very bare. There is only one chair to sit in for two people to share. Water pressure was excellent and the heat of the water was superb. The room were very clean and Housekeeping staff was very supportive and friendly. The only negative in this trip was the lack of Wi-Fi signal and service in the room and the frequent brown outs that caused the signal to drop.

The room was spacious for sure. It was a treat to look at in the beginning but after a while you see a small cockroach in the toilet and that spoils the fun a bit. Still not a problem. But come bedtime, we started feeling itchy and it wasnt just me. I was with my sister and she alao complained about feeling bites when we were on the bed.

For the price it is an excellent place , but the phone in the room do not work and I was provided with the mobile number to call but as a foreigner with my sim using roaming rate it is 2 times expensive than the room price if I use one time , I had already £109 bill for just calling two times .
