Very clean and modern hotel. Our room was very large and very clean. Comfy beds and good aircon. We had a window view to the street but it was not noisy. Staff were excellent and great customer service. Could get snacks at reception if you felt peckish. Ten minute walk to station and we walked most places to see sights as well as a two minute walk to the bus 98 stop which takes you to Aping to see Banyon tree house.

There’s no parking site for the property so you got to find a nearby road side parking. It’s free from 10pm to 8am supposedly, you just park and pay at a convenience store with the chit placed on your car windscreen wiper after you leave. The entrance to the hotel is beside the check-in counter. The room is fairly big but not carpeted. Location wise it’s walking distance from Tainan train station (not the HSR station, which is quite a distance away).

Usually when I leave a review, I start with the room, then move on to the public areas of the hotel, and then the area around the hotel and access to public transportation.

But this time round I feel like I should start with the staff, because they are the secret ingredient that makes this property stand out.

The warmth, attention to detail, and proactiveness really turned our visit from an exploration of Southern Taiwan into an experience where we feel like we are coming home after a day of galavanting.

Thanks to Jenny, Eva, Neon, Tom, Lily, Anna, and our housekeeper Sarah for being such thoughtful and lovely hosts.

And yes:

1. our room was spacious and well-appointed,
2. the hotel was immaculate with free Taiwanese snacks and cold sweet tea in the lobby,
3. There were lots of places to eat in the immediate vicinity and being 2 mins from bus stops and 7 from the Tainan train station was a huge boon.

Thanks to the 3 Doors team for giving us a home away from home!

The service is good, especially the receptionist Jenny, who is very nice and helpful. I think the hotel was renovated from an older-style hotel; the room and bathroom still use older-style facilities. So far, so good.

Spacious room, friendly staffs, space to improve

The room was spacious and great for a few short days. Although while spacious the amenities it isn’t utilizing the space well enough. For example I wish they added a few more shower hooks. There was only 1 hook by the sink so it’s either for hand towel or bath towel. There’s not enough counter space for your bath products. The shower is large and a lot of empty space so I wish they added a few hooks to the back where the water definitely won’t reach.

The big plus about this hotel is that it’s close to the Tainan train station. The staffs are all very friendly and accommodating. They definitely check to make sure your stay is comfortable. We didn’t get to try the bar at the lobby but hopefully next time.

Convient but very bare bones

Big room, but very bare. Does not evoke comfort. Also, it's great that they want to be eco-friendly, but only having a 2-in-1 shampoo-shower gel, and not providing seperate handsoap, makes it seem very cheap. Convient location though, and bed was comfortable.

The first impression of the room was very good (a hint of minimalism) but then quickly realized that there are limited number of electricity outlets. We had issues with the shower room was somewhat clogged. The worst thing is the card doesn’t really operate the elevator.

Considering the price we paid for the stay, it wasn’t worthy. The acclaimed roof garden is overrated.

However, the staff was super friendly and tried to attend to our issues,

Positives: friendly staff, close to main train station, easy to walk to restaurants, museums and other Tainan sites, open roof for relaxing, room balcony, good safety features w key door and elevator entries and room safe.

Negatives: air conditioning was poor (turned off when we arrived so room was over 30° Celsius , at night air con only cooled room to 25.5° Celsius— considering we were on top floor and it was only February this was too warm for good sleep ), one shower gel is only toiletry and was close to empty (understandable not to include multiple toiletries but the one included should be full).

Located conveniently - there is a 7-11 store just a few hundred feet away where it's convenient to buy snacks, water, coffee and you can even call a taxi to come by to pick you up.

It is also about a 5-minute walk from an open market where you can local produce in the morning. The road is well traveled and is quite safe.

All in all, I'd stay there again. The staff speaks excellent English and is always eager to help. They are very pleasant.

Very close to railway station, quiet nice big room, spacious everything is good except have to remember to put the little rubber tab on drainage after showering to prevent mosquitoes or cockroaches come up. Needs wider table to put our big luggages but the male staff very nice helpful patience to assist us for everything. Excellent customer service.

When we choose this hotel we expect this is another \"chic\" design hotel with normal service. However, during our stay we experienced lousy neighbor which stayed up until mid night. After complaining to hotel staff they react tentatively and get a new room for us. We really appreciate their prompt response to handle the situation.

The room’s big and nicely decorated but not very functional - I had to borrow a chair to open the window because window handle was placed too high and also blocked by big bar counter. Roof top was nice but not very inviting as there’s always nobody. Lighting was so dim it was almost depressing.

The location is very close to the train station about 10 min walk away. We were lucky to be selected for a room upgrade which was spacious and very clean. The only down side was the glass wall between the bathroom and the room allowed the silhouette to be seen. Although this was the case, the layout of the furniture in the room meant this was not an issue. The staff were very friendly and informative on sightseeing suggestions...unfortunately they did not speak English.

Was great. Just without carpet, felt less cosy. And chair movement from above is very loud. Room always have cigarette smell, even though smoking are not allowed. Perfect place to stay for a wonderful holiday

Easy to locate down the main road from Tainan train station, about 8 min walk. Hotel staff were all very warm and approachable, and made us feel at home. Couldn't find fault with such a lovely hotel, cosy and stylish interiors and amenities. While most hotels will provide self-service laundry service, 3 Door scores a notch by helping guests with their laundry so we didn't have to worry about putting them into the washer or dryer. Breakfast was also lovely with a variety of set menu to choose from. This is the perfect place to feel at home while in Tainan.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Room was well laid out and large. Very comfortable room and helpful staff. The breakfast that was included had sizable portions and a good selection. The rooftop patio was a private refuge ina busy city. Highly recommend this property for work or leisure travel.

Pro Tip: If you're coming from the train station, make sure to take the underground pathway. Walking \"to the end of the street\" is a very far walk (big mistake on our end).

Pros: I love the size and modern design of the room. I was also very surprised at how amazing the breakfast was.

Cons: The location isn't really close to anything worthwhile other than the train station.

Modern basic hotel, better eat out breakfast

Somehow disappointed, hotel was new but the room itself was very basic, although it was big but lack of furniture only hanging rack, had 1seat comfortable sofa, 2 high chair and high table which not that useful and not comfortable. Tainan hotel only seemed to have small regular double bed, just fit 2 perdons. Bathroom and shower area were big, but provide only with one multiple shower gel… breakfast were not nice, my family only had 2 bits and then left the area…

However staffs were friendly and willing to help hotel was modern and clean

It was fine. Clean and accommodating staff. But we also stayed during a cold front and there was no heat in the room. We slowly watched the thermostat go from 20 to 14 C where it stayed until we left. It was cold. It also affected the toilet - remember to press the big button or it won't flush. Also, don't expect laundry service on cold days. Otherwise , it was fine - close to train station, nice staff. And ditto on the comments on doors and breakfast.

Good hotel with excellent services. Location wise is about 10 mins walk from Tainan train station. Free Tainan local biscuits, coke and minerals water everyday. 2nd time stay here in a year, but a bit disappointed as the breakfast restaurant changed. Now you need to pay NT100 for premium breakfast options on top of your free breakfast come with your booking. Will definitely stay here again.

Oh my! One of my top three hotels.

There was very little not to love about this hotel. Ultra modern (Japanese style toilet, automatic blinds, light switch panel for the whole room next to the bed), highly secure (not that you need that in Tainan), staff was beyond accommodating, the roof top garden was relaxing and peaceful, breakfast was excellent. An unbelievable value for the money. Only slight complaints: some street noise (you're in a city), bed was firm, but not unreasonable. You can't really see out the window because it had decorative slats over it, but you do get natural light. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff were very friendly the room was large, beds are very comfortable. Nice touch on free cans of coke and local snacks. And they were really nice to put a Happy Birthday sign (my son's bd) and towels folded into animals every day. The location is great for shopping 2 large malls 7mins walk, temples, Hayashi building and Zhengxing st are walking distance. It is also near the train station but we didn't commute by train.

A much needed oasis

After 3 weeks of travel through Indonesia it was nice to relax a few days in a hotel where everything worked well. A very up to date and wired in room with a HUGE bed and great shower and the most electronically advanced toilet I’ve seen yet, yes I said toilet. The electric remote full wall blind opens up to the push of a button to reveal a full wall of window, with a bar type counter that runs the entire width with 2 bar stools. Was like sitting at my own private bar looking out to street below. The staff were like all people we met in Taiwan, over the top friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay much longer but you can easily see everything here in 2 days.

Perfect stay... The hotel staff and the decor is perfect in every way.
A/C can be a little stronger but it's still comfortable.
Breakfast choice is somewhat limited but reasonable. Only 3 selections for the included breakfast. Otherwise, you need to add NTD$100 if you want to be able to select other items off the breakfast menu which is only NTD$20 price difference from the 3 included ones.

Creative and warmest hotel

The staffs are all very kind, especially Coco. She introduced Tainan attractives and gave advices how to be those places. She also introduced the history of the hotel while bring us to the room. The room design is unique and the space is larger than traditional hotels; clean and tidy. The mattress is special made, it's comfortable when lying on it. Breakfast is excellent.... Overall, it's worth it. We will choose this hotel again

- clean room; basic necessities provided; warm welcoming messages & hand-written note after clean-up
- common area on the top floor; a stylish & well-decorated one; great for photo-taking PLUS hanging around with friends / families / colleagues
- great bar; customised drinks prepared by the bartender!

i would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know visiting tainan :)))

駅から近く立地は便利でしたが、以前は利用できた無料の貸し自転車サービスがなくなっており残念でした。また、リネンの清潔状態に問題があったようで、滞在中に重い蕁麻疹が出てしまいました。総合的に考えると、今後こちらのホテルを再度利用することはないと思います。
