The staff were friendly, and yes if you give them a Google review (I had to do mine on the spot), then they give you a free dessert coupon.

The rooms are basically you get what you paid for. Not too bad, the beds were quite comfy and the bathroom was clean.

However, the towels were disgusting and did not give a good first impression. I won't attach photos as it could put people off.

There is only one room card so it may be inconvenient for those who share a room, especially if you want to come back at different times.

Otherwise, all is good. Location is fair. bus stops are outside the hotel and the train station is less than 5 minute walk making it convenient for travel.

I like the hotel - just like the pictures: large, simple and clean room.
There was also a fridge and hair dryer.
Internet was good, TV had a few channel in English (BBC News, Bloomberg, DW, BBC earth, etc.).
Very cute, friendly and helping staff.
80 meter away from the Train station, they are also several bus stops near by.
There is also access to a free washing machine.
I only wish the bed was a little softer.
I would definitely come back.
Note: they give a free dessert if you write a 5 stars review - so take this in consideration when reading the reviews - still very good place, definitely recommend.

The hotel is close to the train station in Tainan and so we booked it for this convenience. We were able to store our luggage on site both before our room was ready and after we had checked out which was very important to us. The hotel was clean and tidy but the room was quite basic. If you are looking for being able to arrive and drop off your luggage so you can spend the maximum time looking around the city and want a simple room this hotel is a good choice

Old building but for the price you can't beat it. It was decent enough to stay in for the price paid - approx same / cheaper than hostels nearby. I chose the one where they randomly assign you a room. I got one where you can't really use the window and there seemed to be a slight reminisce of cigarette smell (rooms are supposed to be non smoking). Room size pretty big.

Would do a short stay again.

This hotel is in an excellent location, being literally across the road from Tainan railway station, which is also where all the city's bus lines converge. This makes it great for getting to all parts of the city quickly. The hotel itself was decent for the money, and the room was okay, with a comfortable double bed. My only real complaint was the lack of soap in the bathroom, I had to use the shower gel to wash my hands.

Overall I liked my stay here, and would stay again. The hotel's location is honestly hard to beat.

Our stay was good. It was a bit noisy late at night. We would have preferred a bar of soap to the liquid body wash. The WIFI for our room did not work and the alternate WIFI connections we were referred to were not stable. The WIFI issue would have been a problem if we had stayed more than one night.

That said, the staff were amiable and helpful and the room rate could hardly have been beaten.

The place is just next to the TRA station and bus stops. Very convenient. And there are available eateries nearby. Just that this hotel is under renovation making the hallway smelled funny. Additionally even when the aircon is centralized, it’s inhumane to set it at 27.8 degrees Celsius during summer. Even the hallway is colder than this! If it’s not for the inconvenience of safety and considering the hallway smelled like construction, we would want to open our door to get the bit of coldness into our room! On top of that, somehow the fire alarm sounded at 2am in the morning and it was so alarming that everyone came out of their rooms puzzled and scared. The alarm only gave warnings in Chinese and none of the guests at level 14 could speak Chinese. Note that the highest floor of this hotel was level 14 and it would be horrible to run down the hotel via fire escape only to find out that it’s not a real alarm. We didn’t know what happened and the hotel staff didn’t say what happened either. We called the receptionist and she only said “no fire, no fire.” The slept was lost after that considering the room itself was as hot as fire at 27.8 degrees Celsius. However considering that the hotel is super cheap and located just next to the TRA and behind the bus stops, we would not mind to stay in this hotel again. They have better rooms available which presumably those that have been renovated. Took a peek at level 1’s hallway of the rooms and they were superb.

Best cheap 'business' hotel I've stayed in

It was a room, it was clean, and it was cheap. Best 10 dollar hotel I've ever stayed in. If you're not accustomed to Taiwanese 'business' hotels or sensitive to dank mold smelling rooms with no windows, or not used to seeing people check out at weird times after probably only being in the room for an hour, then of course you can pay 120 more dollars to stay across the street.

Friendly and helpful receptionist. Big room. Water pressure in room n wifi strength are very good. Provide washing machines , dryer n washing powder. Aceesibilities are great with bus, railway, restaurants n shops around. Aircon cant be adjusted as it is centrally controlled.Overall have a great stay there

We got a great deal on the budget room however with good wifi and private bathroom not sure why it was even considered a budget room- very nice. The location is great, very close to train station. They accept credit card which is also helpful. Very good value

Return visit -- and I'll come again!

This was my second visit to this property, and I'll return there again when next visiting Tainan. The value cannot be beat! Location directly across from the train station is perfect for me. Lots of eateries around. Tourist shuttles leave from in front of the hotel. Walking distance to great coffee. Walking distance to large park for strolling. Price fits any budget.

Had a pleasant stay. Was assigned to a 2nd floor unit. Needed a security card to use the green lift to go up to 2nd floor. When I turned on the lights upon entering the room, I noticed a young (and small cockroach) crawling ontop of the headboard. No other signs of pest during my stay.Very big bed produced by combining 2 Super single bed frame Hotel didn't give me the breakfast coupon beyond the 2nd day. 1 small bottle of water provided.

Spacious, clean and basic hotel, 5 mins walk from Tainan TRA. Breakfast is NTD60 meal voucher which can redeem any food at 7-eleven downstair. If you need to travel a lot by public transport, it is an ideal location to stay in as the bus stop is just 2 mins walk from this hotel.

Located right across the Tainan train station. Very cheap but the room is nothing to shout about. Rock hard mattress and wifi was also non existent. Breakfast is NTD60 for any purchase at 7-11 below the hotel. This hotel is definitely not for fussy travelers.

Nice Hotel next to Tainan TRA station

The location is very near to the TRA station and the room is generally much affordable than the other hotels in the surrounding. The room is spacious and clean. Definitely value for money.

Note that their breakfast is 7-eleven vouchers located on the 1st floor of the hotel. We have no issue since we probably can get a better meal than what the hotel may be providing (except that it is not a buffet). They also gave us drinks vouchers to be redeem over at their cafe next door.

There is a bus stop right at the door step of the hotel for local buses and there is also another city tour bus counter nearby.

This hotel is directly opposite the main train station and is crazy busy. The reception staff do a wonderful job dealing with the multitude of cultures and languages that I would find overwhelming. Yet they make it look easy. Check in was a little slow but to their credit it was very efficient.

My room was big enough. Bathroom was almost new. Towels and lined were in good condition and the entire room was clean. WiFi was fast with a strong signal overall. I've had some of my most restful nights of sleep here during my travels. You will too.

I was surprised that the included breakfast was a 7-Eleven voucher for the store located in the lobby. Not to my taste, but good for snacks etc. . ..

Location is around the corner from their main park. Taxis and all the buses (including tours) are at your doorstep so everywhere is quick, easy and convenient.
I really enjoyed my stay here.

Hard to find unless you know it is the 24hour place. Very busy as next to bus station & across the road from train. Basic but big. We were lucky & had a nice view in a quiet section. Bedding old & sad but you get what you pay for.
Breakfast at 7/11 now that is an experience a $60 voucher each so we got fruit & a sandwich then coffee st another shop.
We were comfortable & very happy with price despite the bedding the sheets were clean

In my last stay with booking confirmation 140062444544, I had to shorten my stay from 5 days (from 7/31 to 8/5) to 2 days (from 7/31 to 8/2) because I could NOT use internet from my room #1458. I had to go downstairs to check my mails using wifi. Even though the management allowed me to check out without penalty, but I had to contact hotel.com for refund. When I called for refund, the hotel.com staff had to check with the hotel. When the hotel.com staff called to this hotel, no one answered the call. So, my refund is still pending at this moment.

Overall is great! The room is big and spacious, and bright. Toilet condition is excellent. Wifi is very good as well. For breakfast, they provide NT$60 voucher and a cup of coffee/tea which is great!
Negative point is the level 1, car park levels and some levels above level 3, the lobby outlook is very creepy. If you are a lady and alone, you will definitely become fearful.

Budget hotel in a good location

The hotel is just next to Tainan station and bus interchange so it was easy for me to explore the city and the surrounding areas. I have requested one of the recently renovated room but they didn't have any left. At the end, hotel staff assigned one un-renovated one at level 14 with a good city view. The room seemed to be really tired with strong smoking smell. They provided 711 voucher (TWD60) and one free coffee voucher every day.

stayed at Tei Dao Hotel out of desperation for a 1-night accommodation near the railway station.
it was a terrible experience; let's re-count it
a. it is a \"hotel\" on level 13 and 14 in a mixed-use building.
b. no locking mechanism in the room. only a chain.
c. lack of security;
d. it is not a non-smoking room. the room full of smoke scent.
e. unclean towel; with body hair

The hotel is conveniently located, 3 minutes walk from the train station, 5 minutes walk from inter-city bus station. At the front-step of the hotel, inner city bus-stop is located. The location is where almost all of the inner city bus will intersect, thus the additional convenience. The room is spacious and clean, with extra care on hygiene is taken, where paper cup and individually-wrapped toiletries are provided.

The room is definitely very clean. The hotel staff is really understanding and follow our request even though it bends the rule a little. Nice, clean , simple hotel at a budgeted price

Very clean and nice staff. It looks like there recently renovated the rooms so the furniture and design were new. Hotel is right next to the Tainan train station and so very easy to travel around town. You will be given a $60Ntd voucher at the 7-11 on the main floor that you can use at any time of the day, so that is convenient. I really recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in old building, but the room I got (level 3) is relatively new. i think hotel currently undergo some renovation on various floor. Room is spacious and clean. The only minus point is that they combine 2 single beds to make it into one double bed, which is not comfortable. Hotel provides voucher to buy food at 7-11 and voucher for coffee daily.
