Convenient location, near Kuantan City Mall with many choices of eating places. Bright, clean, but hotel lift could be improved. If the guest did not press the button properly, he could be waiting a longer time. Staff was alert to that. Toothbrush, room slippers were provided on request. No hand soap at basin but need to take from shower area.

I stayed for Two Nights. The first night at Even numbers room n the view is an adjecent building. The odd numbers room with better city view.
Avoid also connecting room as u can hear very clear ur neighbours whisper.

Great Value, Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel for the 3 star rating. Room was clean although 1 corner in the room was a bit dusty.

Breakfast buffet was included with our room package. The spread was typical Malaysian food along with some continental breakfast items including egg dishes. Overall taste is good, though everything seems to be a bit too sweet for my palate.

Ample parking was available around the hotel. It is a mix of public parking lot and hotel basement parking. Basement parking entry was badly constructed. The downward ramp was too steep to be coupled with the bump at the entry. My MPV that was a bit laden with luggage and passengers gets it's underbody scraped each time we drive into the basement parking.

The hotel is located in an ideal location - walking distance to mall and shops, pretty clean. Only disappointment was that we could hear conversation/noise from next rooms. It can be quite scary if you wake up middle of night to the loo and hear these voices.

Worth the money

Just 1 comment I have. It's about your toiletries. .all is good but tooth brush n shaver not provided. I think it will be nice to add these 2 things in the hotel. Anyway no all will use it. You don't lose much on cost. The food is great n simple but really awesome and tasty.

Overall okay. But if u plan to stay on Saturday night, u have to reconsider as there's liveband cafe nearby which have loud noise in the midnight. The breakfast choices not a lot, but quite tasty.

Stayed in the hotel for a night when me and my wife went on a short getaway to Kuantan. Hotel location is great, within walking distance to 3 shopping malls. Besides that, the room was clean and we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. There was also a decent spread of food for breakfast too!

1. Close to shoplots, restaurants, shopping malls (Kuantan City Mall, Berjaya Megamall)
2. Breakfast was nice
3. Room is big and has a nice big bed with a big flat screen tv.

Cons
1. There's no trash bin in the room except inside the bathroom
2. Bathroom's lighting is bad. It's kinda gloomy with only 1 light near the shower. Feels like showering in the dark.
3. The bidet tap has a leak and water sprayed around whenever used

Room was comfortable and clean. However, on second day, noticed that the bedsheet had a stain. Not sure if stain is old or that bedsheet not changed from previous guest. Towels also more grey than white. Overall, reasonable hotel, will stay there again.

Got a good deal with expedia. The extra bed what ready upon arrival. check in and out was a breeze. Breakfast was simple but good. paid half what I would have normally paid at zenith. parking was convenient. lifts were fast. only issue was they only issued 1 room pass and we had to wait for the AC to kick in every time we went out. would have been nice to be issued 2 cards without having to ask.

I stayed at Rocana for 2 nights. I booking a week earlier with hotel.com only RM148 for superior room, the location are a little bit hard to find. The hotel provide free wifi and parking in front of the hotel and also in the basement. But the basement parking are for small size car and available for only 8 vehicles.

The lobby are nice and the check in process are very fast. The room, bed, toilet are clean. But they only provide limited channel for tv. The breakfast quite good and variaty.

The hotel are near to shopping mall, japaness & arabic restaurant, mamak, kopitiam, pub & cafe. Just a few minutes walking.

Amenities are absolutely satisfying, the staffs, the cleanliness and location. It was easy to get around because the hotel is located nearby CapitaMall and Berjaya Megamall. Would love to stay at Rocana again if I get the chance to travel to Kuantan in the future. Recommended for temporary stay and if you're not planning on spending the whole day at the hotel (especially for those attending weddings).
