Hotel was nice but they told me my room was upgraded on their terms and it was not .. this was suppose to be a romantic couple of days with my wife but they put us in a room with bunk beds and then resort fees were way higher then other hotel .. overall not a good experience

The hotel and grounds were immaculate and the service was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We had such a relaxing stay with super comfortable beds, delicious food from the Valencia restaurant on property, excellent soundproofing in our room for peace and quiet and a relaxing, beautiful pool with food and bar service and large jacuzzi.

We will be back to the Viv!

Everyone was so friendly from the beginning to end! Such a beautiful room! It felt like a mini apartment my family of 6 fit perfectly! The kids loved the bunk beds! The Disney touch is also amazing! The Disney park is only 15 minute walk and there is also a bus that picks you up at the front of the hotel and drops you right in front of the park! I will be returning to stay here for our next Disney trip!

The place was nice, pricing is deceiving. The snackbar/coffee shop is nice and you get a \"$25 credit\" each day, but you are paying for it.

We had three rooms one was never cleaned. for that room 4 calls were made for new bedding and it never arrived. We requested a crib for on room which did not arrive.

This is a really wonderful property. Really close to the parks. Apple maps will tell you its a 40minute walk, but it doesn't know you can walk under the bridge, so its actually closer to 20ish minutes.

Gorgeous pool and really nice staff. The cafe in the lobby was great with good food. Our Bonvoy status gave us 2 free coffees a day which was a really nice way to start the day. We also had a $25 food credit for each day which got us some nice sandwiches.

We made the mistake of going to the restaurant on the main floor. It was empty and we should have taken that as a sign. The staff was rude, all of them on their phones, the food was bland and oddly expensive. The restaurant is the only thing we didn't enjoy at this property. A very different vibe than the rest of the property.

The rooftop adult pool is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks from and relax.

Cant recommend this property any higher.

We stayed the week after spring break and it was perfect!!
The pool area is amazing! We huddled up by the fire and the kids played in the pool! The staff was very friendly and helpful when I forgot a key. Room was a 10/10 stay! Super cozy and hardwood floor which is a must for me! We will be going same time next year and we’re already. Looking forward to our stay!

We stayed for three days. It was great but upon check in, the front desk people were not friendly. During our stay the hotel key card stopped working for both keys and we had to get it rekeyed. The vibe is definitely different as most of the workers seem to not enjoy their job. The only people we encounter that had a positive attitude was the bellman and the cleaning people.

The resort isn’t as nice as the pictures led to show. When we got to our room there were no trash bags at all. We ordered food at the pool and the forgot to put the order in , so we never got our food. The ice machine wasn’t on our floor, only on even number floors, the service and hospitality was decent, but nothing I’d rave about. Overall it’s an ok hotel , but I wouldn’t be spending my money on staying again.

I’m not happy about this Vic hotel, I thought they would do better as a whole but they are very unprofessional and misleading guests.
It’s not right and will never stay there again such a horrible experience.
I hope I can either get a refund or something back because to spend that much at a hotel and didn’t receive the services you’d think is completely unacceptable.
First off the room yes decent size but light lamp was unplugged and remote was broken it was like they never wanted to check on it before hand.
The WiFi was horrible had to call and get an access code but even then it took about an hour to even connect.
The room key barely works and just ruins your day when trying to park or leave.
Lastly the staff is just rude I wish I got their name but at the end of the day shouldn’t treat people differ t even if I ask one simple question.

There will be extra charges on your credit card after checkout for the Melody Market in the lobby, charges under (OTHERS).

When you call and ask for clarification the desk will tell you speak with Melody Market we don't know, good luck getting hold of someone in Melody Market,...

I spoke with a lady she said she is busy and I need to call back and ask for billing Manager, couldn't get hold of that imaginary person at all after multiple attempts and voicemail.

Called back the hotel desk the n3xt day requested to speak to a managet I was connected with one but after 15 minutes of phone call I ended the call with more frustration, questions and confused.

All the reviews you see 80% of the guests have concerns over the extra charges and billing.

Also you will not see disney characters decorations or vibe, nor you are provide a free shuttle with your stay like other disney neighborhood hotels.

The hotel itself was very nice… The beds were a little hard, but we still slept OK. The road noise from the freeway right behind our window was a little annoying, but we bring a fan when we go to hotels so I was able to drown it out. My main issue is all the “mandatory” fees once you get there… $40 for self parking, $25 for a “destination fee” and then several other charges that ended up being $75 on top of our hotel room price. The other thing that wasn’t great, was they required a $250 deposit which I think is astronomical considering we were there from 9 o’clock at night till 7 o’clock this morning. We didn’t charge anything to the room or damage the room so it just seemed a little excessive. $100 would make sense. I think overall it’s a really nice hotel… I just don’t like the nickel and diming.

You get a $25 credit to their restaurants every day which sounds nice, but upon checkout you get a “destination fee” which is more than that credit is worth. So your free breakfast isn’t really breakfast…. Annoying charge.

El hotel es amplio y confortable, nuestra habitación muy amplia y con mucho espacio para guardar nuestras pertenencias, pero en general el hotel está descuidado y sucio , el área de las albercas pareciera estar abandonado , está completamente sucio , nada que ver con las fotografías que vimos al hacer nuestra reservación , el restaurante para el desayuno completamente sucio, los pisos pegajosos y llenos de comida … mala decisión haber reservado en este hotel , no lo recomiendo .

This place is nowhere within walking distance of the park. False advertising. Also, you must pay 25.00 a day for resort fee and 40 dollars a night to park. Also, either scolding hot water or cold. No in between. Last, they won't bring handtowels unless you ask. Pretty room. Cute set up with the bunk beds. But nothing to eat within walking distance either. Overall, pass.

Cafe in the lobby is nice but understaffed. Many people standing in line during the morning rushed ended up leaving before placing an order. The hotel charges a $25 per day resort fee but gives you that amount at credit at the cafe. It appears it’s understaffed intentionally. We checked in and headed straight to dinner. When we got back from dinner we learned they gave our rooms away…AFTER we had already checked it. Made no effort to fix their error and instead said we could cancel our reservation. There are better hotels in the area.

Housekeeping struggled. They’d only leave one towel each day and had to keep requesting the normal amount. Room didn’t get cleaned appropriately, basically just took garbage. The common areas were always dirty, floors not clean. The restaurant was a joke. The resort fee is a joke. I would find somewhere else to stay for the money. Just want that good.

Unfortunately Disneyland ceased service through the shuttles to most hotels the day after we arrived, but this was no fault of the hotel itself. Some of the room needed small repairs but nothing severe. 100% would stay again.

The Viv unfortunately has lost its original luster since our family of 5 has stayed here for our Disney trips over the last 3 years. Despite having a clean, modern, and beautiful front lobby area, our stay was riddled with hotel fees. On top of paying the daily parking fee, Disney guests now have no choice but to drive and pay the Disney parking fee - the Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) service to and from the parks is no longer in service since 3/31. The Valencia restaurant is also overpriced and the food is mediocre quality - Disney fare would be cheaper place to eat. And even though my kids love their fun, funky decor in the lobby, rooms, and hallways, as well as the bunk bed, during this last stay our room felt run down- the shower drain looked dirty, the bathroom grout needed a deep cleaning, and our room floor had a lot of scuff marks. And while the sheets were soft and smelled great, the beds felt lumpy, and my daughter noticed a lot of dust on the top bunk. The one possible saving grace we didn’t have a chance to use was the hot tub and pool - perfect size and depth for my young kids 4-10 years old. It still looks very inviting and many guests took advantage of this little gem. Sad to say, despite the very friendly valet when we dropped off our key, we will likely not stay here again.

I've had a great experience staying at this property before, but this stay. I had an issue in both of my rooms that were courtyard. My second night I found a live bug in side my bed when I got to the hotel, the staff was nice enough and switched rooms. I also encountered a dead bug in the corner of my bed sheets and hair on both the main pillow and comforter. What ever the cleaning staff is doing they need to do a better job, that is just not okay. Paying $200 a night.

The pool was always out of towels. It was very dirty with food and garbage all over the place. The outside lighting didn’t work, and the pool gate only worked half the time. We would get stuck outside the pool with no way to get in unless someone came to help. The rooftop pool is only for 18+ so we were stuck using the dirty pool area, even when the rooftop pool was empty. Our room had a vent that connected to another room and we could hear EVERYTHING they were saying/doing. The room itself was nice and very clean, however many of the lights didn’t work. It was advertised as walking distance to Disney and the convention center, but it wasn’t close at all. Parking is $47/night, which is a huge added expense. Overall, we would not stay here again. The staff was pleasant, but the experience was frustrating.

The staff was wonderful at the Viv and they made our stay so wonderful. Jorge at the front desk and Alex from the Valencia restaurant made us feel taken care of and valued. Our room was wonderful and the bed was comfortable. The removable shower had had a small problem on its metal casing go the hose but it was minor.
